Good product
I love this product. Sound quality is good. Picture could have been better but still this is not bad. Mainly, good value for money. Using for long time. Recommend it.

Great basic TV for the price BUT ....
I bought the 55NU7100 in September 2018. It's a good TV for the price. The low input lag makes gaming a treat. Once the picture is calibrated, it looks decent for a 55" TV under $1k, but don't expect it to match the more expensive NU8 or QF series. The menu system is simple; the apps are plentiful; the sound is pretty good considering the rear facing speakers; connectivity is a little on the light side (no coax audio out or bluetooth); the remote is nasty, but overall it's a good entry level TV.
The December 2018 firmware update (v1202) caused...Read more
a major issue for my TV (and Samsung TVs all over the world). Basically, if using HDMI 1-2-3 in GAME mode, when the TV was powered on, we got a black screen (no smart hub/no picture). The only solution to temporarily fix this issue was to turn the TV back off & on but it repeated the problem the next time it was used. Now, when you buy a "proper" branded TV, you expect both quality in product & quality in service. Samsung Australia customer support were awful. Generic responses akin to "take the cables out and plug them back in" & "do a reset" was about as helpful (not) as their so-called support went. To be honest, it was embarrassing what they served up to me during 5-6 interactions we had. They offered ZERO after-sales service. Thankfully, Samsung USA reached out to me and after a few weeks of trouble shooting, they were able to isolate the problem & release a new firmware update (v1251) to fix the issue worldwide. If you want a cheap & decent entry level TV, the NU7100 fits the bill. If you want tech support or any meaningful after sales service, avoid Samsung like the plague (or move to the USA). I I won't be returning to this brand in the future.

Disappointment with no 3D
When we purchased this "smart" TV UA75NU7100WXXY at Harvey Norman we assumed that it would be 3D compatible noting it is a new model with new technology and our old (2013) Sony Bravia "Smart" TV had it. Charged up all the 3D glasses sat down with the family for a day of 3D movies on the big 70 inch screen and discovered after trying to play a 3D DVD, checking the settings and phoning Samsung that this TV does not have 3D. Other than not having 3D as we expected we are pretty satisfied with the TV and will just have to go back to the old much smaller Sony Bravia to watch 3D DVD's.

Great TV
Purchased this TV over 5 months ago and could not be happier. This smart TV has exceptional picture quality and easily connects to the home wifi system. Its remote is easy to use and it has a great TV guide menu. It looks exceptionally good when mounted to the wall. Would highly recommend this unit and the price is reasonable.

Great TV
I bought the 55'' TV on sale for approx. $952 and it is great value for money at this price for the size, weight and functionality.
Overall thoughts on the TV:
* Extremely light weight
* Crisp clarity and definition
* Easy access to Netflix / Youtube etc tiles through floating bottom banner
* Does limit connection to Samsung devices
* Smart function easy to navigate, though sometimes a little slow

Great TV for the price
Bought this for something like $750 to replace my $750 51" Samsung Plasma.
First impression, this thing is light! I guess that's what happens moving from PLASMA to LCD, the Plasma was 25kg and this thing is 8.5kg so much easier to wall mount.
I bought a cheap Sony soundbar to go with it which is ARC compatible. Now with only 3 HDMI inputs I was worried I wouldn't want to give one up to dedicate to the soundbar but I'm glad I did as it means only 1 remote for everything and ARC turns the soundbar on/off with the TV so no fiddling for the famil...Read more
y or guests. Picture is really bright as opposed to the Plasma I can now watch without reflections from windows. The smart TV function is superb, it runs Netflix, Stan, all the aussie TV catchup apps and also allows for Plex streaming which I have to say runs extremely well.Similar opinion? Amazing 4K Smart TV
One of my best Samsung TV's. 55" is perfect size for medium lounge and allows you to connect with Samsung devices to control and screen share. Which is best feature when you go something on Mobile and share screen. 4K movies and video provides the amazing feel to the content.
So for haven't found any Con.

Please Don't buy. Poor Quality!!!
The TV is substandard faulty within 9months. Covered by warranty but Samsung employ incompetent service provider for repair and dishonest. TV was sent for repair for weeks you have to chase the repairer before they can attend to you.
Sony TV or electronics are better off. I changed taste to find out it does not worth it.
Please don't but or consider this before purchase.

Good Quality and Useful Features
We are very happy with this television overall.
Pros:
• The size is perfect for us. It is not overwhelming, but is big enough for us to be able to sit a fair distance from the screen.
• The smart features are useful, we particularly like access to Freeview Plus so that we can stream directly to the television, with SBS On Demand and ABC iView being particular favourites.
• Great, clear picture and the sound is fine.
• The automatic tuning works brilliantly and easily.
• The wi-fi connection to our modem is flawless and easy.
Cons: ...Read more
• The elecrical cable to the power is ridiculously short. • The remote control is not particularly well-designed. • The apps for the smart aspect of the television are reasonably easy to access, but the setup is inelegant and somewhat clumsy to navigate. All in all, I recommend this television. The good by far outweighs the bad, as the picture quality is excellent, and the negative points are restricted to less significant issues such as the remote control and the electrical cable. Whilst the apps have a slightly clumsy setup, we LOVE having a smart TV! There is access to a lot of content without the need to sign up for any type of paid service. We are very happy with this purchase.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Very good but had issues initially setting up
We really love this smart TV but when we initially brought it home we had difficulty getting video player to play in colour. Instructions did not assist. Retailer told us it must be faulty and so replaced it with another; but you guessed it! Same problem!! So after much trolling through the internet, came upon the solution. You can’t have the av jack and component jack plugged in at the same time, if you want the video to play properly. Apart from this, unit is great! Great picture quality and sound.

Great For 2 days! It was downhill from then!
Great For 2 days! Then on the 3rd day I turned it on and there was a thin black horizontal line (permanent whatever the input...from left to right side of the screen) in the middle of the display! Used Samsung products all my life, perhaps the 43 inch NU7100 was just a dud?? I'd love to think that was the case!
Atleast Appliancesonline.com.au are a very good company and offered a replacement. Very Good service. The same could not be said of the samsung tech though (using the standard Samsung Australia support number), who could barely understand english!!!!

Really happy with this TV
Really impressed with the quality of picture, so clear and bright (still getting used to the sharpness). Smart Features are the best and no longer requires my Google Chromecast device. Netflix is great and can now listen to my music via UTube through my speakers. I use also my smart phone to Chromecast stuff through to my tv which is easier and faster to type a subject in. Just a nice size, not to big or to small. Love this tv and recommend to all. Was also told that the smart features are better and easier to use than Panasonic brand from more...Read more
than one person in the store and I agree. The only downfall with this tv is that I had to purchase a cheap “Panasonic Soundbar” as the sound quality is not great on this size tv and It doesn’t have an Earphone jack to plug in my old speakers. Also regret not looking into things further because if I had A “Samsung” Smartphone and Soundbar to match my tv then I could of set up one remote to control the tv instead of 3 remotes bit of a pain otherwise am happy.2 comments

Good TV with excellent options
I purchased this TV back in August 2018. The smart TV is working very well and has a variety of apps available. The TV turns on almost instantly and doesn't appear to consume too much electricity. It is neat and tidy and looks very professional. The connectivity to the internet is fantastic - I run off wifi and I have had no problems with the TV so far. The unit has sufficient ports and outlets.

Excellent TV
I bought this TV just before the FIFA World Cup 2018 . The picture and sound quality of this TV is just amazing. It does have slim and small remote and really easy to setup. But one thing could have been better which is TV guide option! Once I scroll down to the channel list, at the bottom it just stop there and I have to scroll all the way up to get to the top !

Great quality
Operating system is suitable to my requirements. The only downside is that the new Samsungs no longer have Foxtel Now included. My old Samsung had this available.
The remote control isn't as great as my previous Samsung. You need to ensure it's pointing directly at the television. Not a deal breaker.

Great tv!
Bought it in June and loved it. Very clear, smart hub and it has features that are easy to control. The remote is small and slick operate with AA batteries. They design it in a way that the cables can be hidden and not revealing to ruin the aesthetic. Overall it is a good product and i recommend it.

Picture quality amazing.. so quick too!
We upgraded from a Bravia to this one and was not disappointed. The picture quality is amazing and it works so fast. It can go from foxtel to Netflix in under 10 secs whereas my older Bravia would take over 5 minutes to load. I wish it had a couple more HDMI ports but other than that it’s great! Easy to set up to with my WiFi.

Hi Hunt, You can connect Bluetooth audio devices to the TV. They must be paired using the TV's Bluetooth function. For more information on pairing, refer to the Bluetooth audio device's manufacturers. When you turn on a paired Bluetooth audio device, the TV detects it automatically, and then displays a pop-up window. Use this pop-up window to activate/deactivate the Bluetooth audio device.
