Mixed bag
I've had this TV for 3 years now, and it does somethings really well and somethings not so well.
Picture quality is brilliant, how the smart tv component struggles, very sluggish. EPG when watching TV is terrible, often stopping when searching through the channels for more than a page. Luckily for me the main purpose was a good picture quality and overall i have been very happy with the TV. I'll need to upgrade to UHD in the next couple of years though.

Brilliant TV for movies, documentaries etc
I cannot fault this TV. Perfect playback and wonderful picture quality. Love how the smart component lets me stream YouTube videos straight from phone to TV. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this to anyone else. Automotion is also a fantastic feature for sports or fast action paced movies or docunentaries. Adds ultra real effect.

Poor Performance
These units are under powered. Samsung have built great screens but the smart aspect is a cheap and nasty processor. It is slow to load smart TV and the internet is slow and erratic. Cannot recommend.

Quite good
No problems with setup or running. The "smart" part of the TV works well get gets updated regularly.
The only problem is the EPG, it won't display (although it once did). Very disappointing.

Expensive piece of junk
Brought this Samsung led 1 & half years ago have only used it 3 times in the past 9 months and prior to that we were fifo workers & never home so in total it would have had 3 months solid use, it is now broken the picture is fuzzy and out of focus and unwatchable $800 down the drain ! They weren't kidding when they said there not made to last anymore stay well away from Samsung tvs.
Ready for the bin after 3 months of use

Fantastic TV for the bedroom
I agree on another user's comment about the sound being fairly poor, but external speakers or soundbar are a good option. It's wifi connectivity means you can stream almost anything from your PC or watch youtube. If you have a Samsung phone you can control all of this directly. The picture is excellent. I've been using it for a year as the little brother of my bigger 55" series 7. I'm a big Samsung fan and been impressed how much faster the CPU is on the ES6200 - you can also do two things at once like record to USB and view the TV guide or stream something... unlike the more expensive bigger brother I paid 3 times as much for
Picture quality, firmware updates, wifi bult in
Sound quality is OK... but as good as expected.

Faulty panel after 9 months
Those things can happen of course but in the first year it is very disappointing. Now the main issue is the support once the event occurs and on that front Samsung has been absolutely useless. It has been 3 weeks, I have called them 6 times and I am yet to hear from them about any potential resolution. I had a technician coming over to my house. It took him 10s to realise that the panel was dead. Since then I haven't heard from Samsung. Brilliant.

No Skype camera for series 6 50ES6200
I purchased a Samsung 50inch series 6 smart tv (6200) and was told by JB HI FI that I could get a Skype camera for it. I am unable to purchase one as there has never been one made for this tv, I told them I wanted the tv for Skype, and I contacted Samsung and they said they have not produced a camera for this tv. Why then do they advertise on the Samsung web site video Skype calling for the model I purchased if there is no camera available? Worst Purchase Ever
I was extremely dissappointed with Samsung because I purchased a Samsung UA32ES6200M 32" 3D TV about 8 months ago but the flickering on the 3D Glasses gave me a headache ever since I purchased the TV so I tried to call Samsung and they just hung up in my ear so I would definitely not buy anymore Samsung products nor would I recommend them to anybody.

Good TV
It's a good TV, when you turn it on you can not change channel straight away, and you have to wait for a couple of secs. The Internet speed is fast on the TV, have not used 3D yet not sure the quality. The remote could be designed better.
quality picture, built in wifi, usb ports, watch youtube on the TV
Not very good sound, remote control

Fuzzy picture - not the same quality as previous versions
I bought the UA40ES6200M for my holiday house as I own a UA40D6600 at home (which is an absolutely amazing TV) - unfortunately they no longer make that model so I bought this one as it has the sane specifications (if not better). I have to say that I am so disappointed with this TV. It is fuzzy and pixelated even when using it with mystar HD or DVD. I am so annoyed I am requesting the Samsung technician to come out and replace it. I feel ripped off. I'd warn anyone looking to buy this TV to go to the shop and see it first - I don't believe that...Read more

The Best Purchase Ever
I bought this so I could watch my favourite TV Shows and view photos on it in 3D because I thought it was an excellent price of $730 including 4 pairs of 3D Glasses from The Good Guys in Bayswater.
Also I would recommend buying this if you have a small bedroom because it doesn't take up that much space.

Expensive

I wouldn't recommend buying this because the flickering on the Active 3D Glasses causes headaches so I would go for LG since the 3D Glasses are flicker-free, which means it won't cause headaches also it is easier on your eyes.

Would be perfect if not for a few small issues...
A really fantastic TV, great colours, fantastic contrast, terrific refresh rate, but there are a few snags. Firstly, the TV has a dimming mode which automatically dims the display when the picture is dark, which can be extremely distracting. The best bit? They've removed any way to switch this off (Previous models could do it via the service menu). A workaround is that it isn't enabled in Movie mode, so it's recommended to set the display the way you like it under Movie mode instead. There's a small amount of bleeding from the edge-lighting aro...Read more
und the outside of the display, but it's far from severe, I've seen much worse. Finally, the delay on the picture is quite noticeable, even in gaming mode. Switching off the Motionflow features helps, but it's still a little slow in the interest of using it as, say, a computer monitor. Overall however, despite the aforementioned flaws, the display of the TV, the features it packs and the overall quality and build of it is fantastic for its price, and I wouldn't hesitate to strongly recommend this set, just make sure you switch it to movie mode! Cheap, Fantastic Image Quality, Packed With Features, Beautiful Design, Great Build Quality Forced CE Dimming, Some Light-Bleeding, Noticeable Delay.1 comment
It is possible to disable the dimming mode!

This is Terrible, Smart hub has lot of problems
I bought a brand new tv and smart hub doesnt work properly, Have contacted samsung, They send technician 3 times to my house, But nothing is fixed. Its causing lot of stress, i spend almost $1600 to watch a normal tv without smart hub. And samsung technician always try to put blame on my router speed which is 15mpbs speed..
youtube doesnt work properly, web browser stuck in the middle, bad service from samsung technician

do a dsl speed test from your web browser to see the true speed of your internet down load and go into the menu and update the firmware and this can be done in the smart hub too

This smart Led TV has build-in wifi. I can watch youtube on the TV. TV's internet speed is good. However the internet shuts down itself all the time. The remote control is hard to use for internet searching. TV's software is very slow. The USB on it are useful. I use it to connect a wireless keybord

Pls. do not use the remote for web browsing. A wireless keyboard and mouse is more apt!

Excellent! Wifi is easy and changes what you watch
I purchased the TV after previous Samsung blew a capacitor. Though I only wanted a standard TV, the built in wifi has changed how we watch TV. I have a wireless logitech keyboard/touchpad hooked into the rear, makes typing easier. I have also loaded the YouTube app onto the TV and can now play videos that I find on my iPod on the TV, just find what you want to watch on the iPod, press play and it pops up on the TV. You just need to pair your phone or iPod first, very easy through the samsung TV app. I assume it would work with any wifi enabled ...Read more
tablet or phone. The TV can also be loaded with the ABC iView app, great for the kids, my six year old now watches more streamed content than free to air, and gets it going by herself, very easy to use. The web browser is useful, though a laptop is still preferable for longer searches as the processor in the TV isn't huge and slows things down a little. The easy connection of other devices makes this TV a pleasure to own, the picture and sound are fantastic, and the small amount of 3D content I have seen appears very good. Great TV, just make sure you have a good broadband provider and a high download limit! Ease of connection to wifi and other devices such as ipod Nothing if you add a wireless keyboard with a built in touchpadSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Samsung TV 40 LED 3D
My old tv had stopped working and I wanted to purchase a small TV for the Kitchen. I Had a Samsung LED 32 for our lounge room but I found that the speakers where tiny so I purchased a cheap set of PC speakers and plugged them into the head set plug. I didnt want to do the same in the kitchen. When i researched the other model TVs on CHOICE mag and other wed sites I found that the samsung was still popular and I didnt think the SONY was worth the extra money or the mid year sales.
I looked at JB the Good Guys Harvey Norman and found that the Go...Read more
