Very good washing machine! Have had it for 12 years its done 2+ loads a day and only now has it stopped working. The pump gave out, which was replaced easily but now it wont spin and would need a new motor but before these issues its worked perfectly for 12 years.

I think this machine will last a life time as long as you treat it well and not over load it but in saying that it can handle big loads just fine.

I have had this machine for about years without any trouble. HOWEVER, It had a large amount of smoke and burnt smell coming out of the machine this week and my laundry room was full of smoke! I think I nearly had this machine blown up and fire... It should have stopped itself if there was any issue, error or breakdown instead of burning itself. It is a serious fire hazard! I have contacted Samsung customer service center and am waiting for their reply.

This is a great little machine - I've had for 7+ years and it has run without issues.
There were probably a few times wherein the load was WAY out of balance on spin cycle, but the machine seems to stop and 'right' itself whenever this happened.
I'll have to given this machine full marks under the circumstances. Well done Samsung.

Another Great product from Samsung. Bought July 2007 expired this month in Oct 2013. Lasted just over 6 years with out any issue. We used it quite often for family of 6 people with 4 little children.Even now does not seem to be a big issue, would be easy to fix if in India but here in Australia you always buy new stuff due to cost-benefit analysis.

Piece of crap, not worth the money, have been having issues with it for months leaving stuff on clothes and uses too much water. Do NOT buy this machine.
Nothing, it barely washes clothes.
The filter is completely pointless, even when cleaned and empty, lint is still left all over clothes, not to mention black stuff. The machine is a year old and has been leaving black slimy bits on clothes for months, and nothing will clean it! It also uses a lot of water

crap not happy i am a bloke and thought i would have been able to have it going on my own. oh well as they say if all else fails read the instructions, ill take a look and see if there is a suggestion there as what to do

Mine is only 6 months old and no use at all. Cleaning the filter is a nightmare too. Do not buy waste of money

Leaves a sediment on the clothing. Doesnt wash clothes properly
