dosn' t work on fleas
Tasty Chews Green (Small Dog)Maybe it works on worms but didn't seem to have any effect on fleas. It says on the packet it will not kill fleas but prevents re infection. Both my dogs had fleas during treatments. "did the dogs pick the fleas up from outside"? well the fleas today were tiny so seemed to be new borns. I am going to change products but in all fairness we have people visiting us everyday with their two dogs and have cats so maybe impossible to control xx

Tasty Chews Green (Small Dog)I applied this product on both of my dogs. No side effects were noted. They are both six years old. One is a Jack Russell and the other is a Jack Russell cross
.I consider my dogs small to medium. The heaviest dog weighs approximately 10 kilos, while the other dog ways approximately 6 kilos To save a few dollars, I purchased the dosage recommended for small dogs only. Within 10 minutes, they both discontinued to scratch and gnaw at their hot spots.
It has been just on four weeks since the first dose. Now they are both exhibiting severe flea ir

Tasty Chews Yellow (Medium Dog)Fingers point to this product but not 100% sure at this stage.
Not given a full chew - Took a small amount off as it states 11 kg >
Given 8 pm with her meal, Next day she didn't seem all that interested in any of her meals which was out of the norm. but being puppy and not sick at the time I didn't think too much of it.
at 5 am next morning (33 hours after) she was vomiting and had diarrhea, after clean up she vomited a few more times in the next hour or 2. Morning Breakfast (38 hours after) not eating as much but ate her mean somewhat
... Read morewith a hour gap in between, I added organic no additive pumpkin soup in it to help with the diarrhea. (She has eaten pumpkin and enjoyed it a few weeks back) So I will see how she goes. was told by the vet to try it again in 4 weeks time if same results than its definitely the Sentinel. No changes to diet or daily routine. - did not eat anything that she isn't given daily, No walks outside of the house (only played in the yard as usual) and nothing was ingested at the time (nothing to ingest) Brought inside after a bit of play each time.
What a shame they changed the formula
Tasty ChewsThis has always been a great product for my dog, a very long-haired German Shepherd. I always treat the cat with Frontline or Advantage at the same time and we haven't had fleas since, for 4-5 years now. The trouble is this used to be a palatable chew for my dog but since the formula changed a couple of years ago she's refused to take it and now clamps her very strong jaw shut so I can't even force it down her throat any more. Looking for a new product.......
It works very well
My dog won't take it
great product Is it possible to halve the dosage of a large dog chew and give them to my two dogs that are half the weight?
My vet said it was alright to cut in halve and give to two dogs

Know better, choose better.
OK
Tasty ChewsIt is great to have a product which combines all wormers, however I have found that my dog (an inside dog) has caught fleas multiple times while on this product. While Novartis (manufacturer) has a '100% guarantee' on this product, on closer reading the product guarantees that the fleas can't breed, not that they dog won't get them (and spread them around the house). You do still need to treat your dog with Capstar or a topical treatment to address adult fleas. I have not had a problem getting my dog to eat either the tablet or the chews.
Great all-in-one wormer, dog was willing to eat it!
Average flea control, expensive

The taste - not a fan favourite for dogs
This is a beef and bacon chew, and Sentinel claims that ‘97% of dogs accept them straight from the hand.’ However, several reviewers reported that in reality, this was far from the truth. This was the case even for those who gave positive reviews. Many reviewers resorted to methods of food camouflage, such as disguising the chews in: ice cream, cheese, peanut butter, and raw meat, to entice their dogs to eat the medicine. Sometimes this worked, however more likely than not it didn't.
Positive reviews
These were given on the basis that the reviewer’s dog didn’t experience any adverse side effects after taking the medication, and that the product worked at effectively preventing the growth of new fleas, heartworm and tapeworm.
Negative reviews
Sentinel states that dogs can experience temporary adverse reactions to Sentinel Spectrum. According to the brand, these side effects usually disappear within 24 hours, and are commonly a result of overdosing.
These signs include: depression and lethargy, pruritus (the intense need to scratch), vomiting and diarrhoea.
Negative reviews were often written due to prolonged and extreme side effects caused by this product. Along with the side effects cited by Sentinel, they also included nausea, loss of appetite and weight loss. Sometimes symptoms lasted for a few days, and sometimes they lasted for three weeks. Both were noticably obvious and caused reviewers to become concerned for their pets' welfare and health.

My pups had it a few times since being sick from giving her this the first time and she has not had any ill effects apart from the first time... maybe it was just something she needed to get used to!
