If only people knew where my location - Heathcote Junction - actually is! I have listed 4 jobs and had an excellent experience with 2 - a fencing contractor and a chimney cleaner. With the other 2 there was no response. I later encountered a tradie doing a job at my work who had seen my job listed on SC, but ignored it, because he assumed - as so many do - that Heathcote Junction is somewhere near Heathcote, therefore too far away. In fact it's about 5 minutes from Wallan, 25 from Epping, so quite in the range of anyone who covers the outer northern suburbs of Melbourne.

We have used Service Central on a couple of occassions and have been pleased with the prompt responses to quotes. Work carried out by experienced and courteous tradies. Will definately use this service again, best way to find a tradie.

I've used Service Central 3 times and in each case I have not had a problem with Service Central or the plumbers I needed. In fact the last job I needed I've kept the details of the plumber, as he was clean, polite and punctual. Service Central beats scanning the Yellow Pages or local paper. I'll be using them again and do not have a problem recommending them.

I would recommend Service Central to anyone who needs anything fixed around the home. They were very efficient and within a day I had a trades person organised to fix my ducted heater. Through Service Central I had no ringing around to do and this made the process very easy and it was done very quickly.

We've used Service Central several times for various jobs. Every time has been great. We have had quick responses ( sometimes in under 10 mins) and every time we have employed a tradesperson through Service Central it's been successful. I have had tradesmen who respond to the job but don't contact me, expensive quotes or rude and pushy tradesmen.

I have had exterior painting, landscaping, interior painting and garden steps done at different times through Service Central and I am happy with the fact that I can get prompt quotes from competitive businesses and I have chosen tradesmen accordingly. So well done, Service Central.

I had 3 plumbers call me immediately to organise quotes. I felt sorry for the service providers that were unsuccessful.

I have logged 3 jobs over the years. One job I did not receive one phone call at all, and when they closed the job it was based on 3 contractors contacting me. One job only had 1 phone call, I used that electrician, he was Good, but I am sure it was a little overpriced. And for the 3rd job, I had 2 contractors contacting me, and tell me that they can't do the job, no one contacted me to say that they could do the job. So it is a bit hit and miss with the service. I suggest if you know a tradie, or someone has used a good one, use that recommendation, it is probably going to be more successful

They start you off paying an upfront full fee for yearly subscription. You will be lucky to receive 1 lead every quarter. And to no prevail! These leads I believe are fake as the customers do not return or answer their phones! Do not fall for such a scam. I highly recommend placing your hard earned money in other marketing mediums. Stay away

It's so good to have a service like this available. You post what you want done, have people that actually want your business contact you and show up to quote. I have used it a few times to hire trades people and always have a great experience.

A fantastic system for tradesmen who are working on that on. Leads are verified & good. One of the original systems in place for tradesmen that still works very well today to obtain and quantify good leads. A transparent system where no additional charges or any surprise charges are in built. It's a great backup or fill in the gaps for tradesmen. It's a quality system all around.
