We used SC in the past with great success for quite a few jobs and in two cities.

However a couple of years we tried to get a fairy basic job done and got no responses, then when it happened again for another job that was it, did not use them any more.
After that we stopped using SC and have not heard any more since, did not even know they were still going.
Would have great potential if properly run.

I got 3 tradies accepting to contact me, Just 1 really contacted me and sent rough quote, so just a waste of my time.

Have used service central many times with generally satisfactory results. However last job earlier this year ended up being responded to by an organisation with a totally different name. Very strange so I made enquiries of the responding organisation and service central. No response from either so I'm not using either organisation now.

I have used service central in two occasions, the first time it was very good. The tradesman was professional and knew what they were doing. But the second time not so much. Over charged me even after helping him. Cant really blame service central, as they provide a good service and take the hassle out of looking.

i've used this service a number of times over the past few years. i've been happy with the responses, and with the quality of work carried out.
it saves a lot of time, especially when looking for specialist work, such as fixing / installing drip watering systems.

On the occasions I've used here I've had nothing but grief from crooked tradesmen. From roofers to Concreters and others. I'll never use this service again. I can't directly blame Service Central I suppose but the tradesmen this site attracts are exceptionally poor. Poor value, poor work, poor communication and attitudes. If you want to fill your life with anxiety and grief use Service Central.

Used Service Central twice, first time good ~ 2nd time was for home air condition repair the guy came twice to fix it charging more each time and the result was the air condition still didn't work correctly gave up ~ I am dubious about using Service Central again ~ Maybe Service Central should check tradesmen's qualifications and past customer performances

Found an excellent electrician. Arrived when he said he would. No complaints and I recommend them to any one looking for a tradie.

I have used service central for the last 5 years. I have used them to find Electricians, Builders, Landscapers and Concreters for everything I needed to do to finish my new house. I get 3 companies that want to work and want to give you a quote and i get to pick the best. Works everytime.

I have used service central several times over the last few years. The great bulk of the service providers responded quickly. While, not all turned up to quote, the majority did. (Tradies not turning up has been going on since the time of the pharaohs!). Generally, the quotes were reasonable. The real value in this service is saving time and the ability to rate the service providers back to service central.

I wouldn't have even know where to start without Service Central. At least I know they want the job before contacting me, unlike me ringing people off Google or Gumtree. So thanks!

I've used this service many times now. I've used it to find an electrician, fence builder, roof tiler and blind maker. Haven't been disappointed yet. Always easy and quick to find a reliable service.

I was regularly frustrated finding tradespeople before I started using Service Central. The turnaround is really quick and it helps having the review system.

Service central is a great place to look for trades people who have specific skills for specific tasks where not every trades person have. I posted my requirements and received a few phone calls to clarify the job requirement which finally one of the trades person could perform. Highly recommended.

I would not hesitate to use this service again - tip - speak to each tradesman prior to selecting as some that responded were unable to help.
