Brilliant idea to seek services.
I found business responded very well for jobs in Sydney metro but one job I need in regional area attracted only one response.
I had several jobs in Sydney metro and I had more than 5 tradies for each job. From those quoted, I was able to choose the best one. They all kept their promises and did a good job in the end. So happy about it.

IMPORTANT FOR TRADIES: Worst service ever, would not recommend to any tradie business
I would first like to say, I would not recommend this platform to any tradies or service company especially in building. So if you guys get called to purchase a 1 year contract please reconsider. This is my story. I was first called up by a representative saying this platform would be very suitable for me, I would get jobs coming in and people would call me for quotes. d me time and time again I would have nothing to worry about and this service would be very beneficial for me. He seemed like a very nice and easy going guy. He even gave me his number and said look if there's ever something wrong please call him and discuss. He told me along the lines of you'll get jobs related to my trade. He even made a guarantee that I would get my money back in 6 weeks! I was absolutely excited and decided to trust him so I signed up for a 1 year contract, hoping this will turn my business around. So I signed up and and after being on the platform I was getting very small jobs like handy man jobs. I am a builder by trade and we do double story homes, big jobs. The sales representative knew that as he told me he had search my company name on google business and saw the scale of work I do from the photos. His like don't worry we can get you jobs. So after being on the platform for 5 weeks, I have had nothing of the sort. I got all this little handy man jobs (Installing an IKEA shelf or fixing a fence) I have attached some photos so you guys can see the type of jobs I was getting in the 5 weeks period. At this stage I was very upset and frustrated as I had signed up, follow the prompts to be a trusted tradie. Gave my license and ABN answered questions and posted my logo and profile photo up. So as I was upset I decided to call up that sales representative and speak to him about the service I was receiving. When I spoke to him, his tone of voice was absolutely no where the same as when he sold me the service package. At first I told him I was upset, that I felt that the jobs I was getting was too tiny and it wasn't worth my time. I also told him that he had guarantee that I would get my money back in 6 weeks. When he heard this, he started raising his voice and getting very defensive saying stuff like he would never say anything like that to me as company policy is three months to guarantee money back. I told him it was a month ago when we had the chat and that I can recall he said something like that but I’m not 100% sure and if he can you go back and listen to the phone recording. At this stage he was being very arrogant and said something along the lines of I do not have to go back and listen to the phone recording because I know I would never say anything like that, don’t argue with me! So I told him I wanted to speak to a manager and after requesting to the manager that I would like them to listen to the phone recording and they both did. So I got a call the next day with both of them apologising saying they had listen to the phone call and that the sales representative did say I would get my money back in 6 weeks. They offered to give me more time on the platform and promise to give me better suited jobs. At this point I was already fed up with the way I was being treated, I didn’t want to deal with them anymore so I told them I wanted a refund and as soon as I said that, the manager tone of voice changed, saying we don’t offer refunds and that we will call you back when the 6 weeks period is up. He tried to end the conversation at that, even when I had more to say. So if any of the senior managers or CEO of service.com are reading this please listen to the conversation that I had with the Sales representative. I am not happy with the service at all during the 5 weeks period, I am very disgusted with the way I was DECEIVED by the sales representative. Would not recommend this service to anyone after going through the disappointment and stress.4 comments

It's another 2 days until the 6 weeks mark and i have not seen any jobs suitable for me or have I recieved a return on my investment. I do not want to get an extension of time on the platform as promised by managers on the platform, they are refusing to give me a refund. i felt i was decieved by the company. It has been long past the 6 weeks stage, i would say that i am at least 5 months in the subscrition service and i still haven't won any jobs from this subscribtion. They had guaranteed me i would make a return on my investment within the 6 weeks period. I would like to say that the job posted on the subscribtions are not even suited for my category or not what i was promised. I'm a builder by trade and when i was called up by a sales representative, i told him i do no want small and little jobs I do new homes and granny flats or even renovations. The jobs that i have been recieving on the platforms are jobs like "replace rotting beam in garage", "installation of bifold doors in double brick home", "stairs are making creaking sounds while we stepped on it". As a customer, i am extremely dissatisfied with this service and the customer service. Because they could not meet their guarantee of me making a return in my investment in 6 weeks they decided to offer me an additional 1 year service. It's been almost 5 months now and i still haven't won any job, i've even tried to accept small jobs to see if i get the job and still nothing. So i've tried calling up them up, i told them i just wanted my money back and i am willing to take this review down. They refused and said something along the lines of because the reviews has been up for 3 months it's already done it's damage. Its's funny how they were willing to offer me a refund when i first posted this review but because it's already done it's damage they don't want to provide me that offer again. I am fine with it. I am willing to lose the $900 subscribtion service i paid for. I just wanted to write this review for all the other tradies who are contemplating on joining this service. PLEASE RECONSIDER before you sign up. There is a reason they lock you in for a 1 year contract unlike the other subscription services of Hipages and service seeking. I honeslty felt i was decieved by the sales representative, They are really nice to you and very helpful before you sign up but as soon as you are a member they are different people. I have not won any jobs, all the jobs i have been getting aren't even suited for me, i've been on the platform for 5 months now. It is very frustrating to spend $900 and get this type of result. I honestly regrettably joined this service. I may have lost my money, but for those of you reading this, there is still a chance to save yours. I just want to put this review out there so no other tradie will have to go through what i went through. If you notice most of there positive reviews are from customers and hardly any from tradies. I've also been recieving messages from other tradies say how they feel like they were decieved and couldn't get there money back. Tradies to choose from in minutes
We wanted aircon and we wanted it now. I thought "wouldn't it be great if we locked something in today", and thanks to service.com.au, we did. We made a post on the website and we had two tradies contact us within 5 minutes of posting, and several reach out later that day. We connected with a tradie, discussed the job, got a rough quote and locked in a date the next week for installation.
I'll use service.com.au again in the future because it's obvious that tradies use this service.
You gotta post where the tradies are looking, and that's service.com.au

Pretty handy
Great easy way to get in touch with tradespeople who are actually interested in working for you. Everyone who I have spoken with have been polite and helpful.
I wish there was a mobile app for customers though, hopefully that's coming. Also being able to see star ratings and reviews for the tradespeople more easily when you recieve messages would be good. I keep having to navigate away from the store to get more info about who I'm taking to

Absolutely love Service.com.au they get me in touch with potential customers very efficiently. Highly recommend their platform and especially the office staff who are always friendly and very helpful. I have used other platforms but they just didnt cut it. I recently joined service.com and they have been fantastic. Kieran has been in contact with me a few times since I joined and he has been great to deal with and very professional. I have also delt with Shelby who was very happy to find my fist review on service.com. I would highly recommend joining due to not having to pay to get leads unlike a lot of other competitors I've been with and the staff who is professional and want the small business to succeed.

I recently had a deck replaced by vizion builders. Moossa and his off sister did a fantastic job. I would truly recommend them. Their work was fantastic. Very pleased with result. They took away the rubbish from the previous deck and left a great new deck!

Job completed efficiently
I posted a job to replace house fence. Had already had one quote from another source. Got 2 replys from service providers very quickly. Both wanted to come and do site measure however one did not reply to my message to ring and arrange suitable time. The other came promptly at specified time. He got the job and was very pleased with his work and communication.

I can't recommend this to any business
I am a pest controller business owner with 20+ years experience and glowing reviews on other sites but for whatever reason Service.com.au does not work in the Sunshine Coast region full stop as in no one calls at all. Despite all the hype and promises I have received only 1 lead (not 2 phone calls as suggested below on the app as I never had a single call only 1 request through the app) in 6 months which I converted to a job that equated to $175 which coincidentally happened within a week of me contacting them to complain several months ago? unny that, so clearly not good value for money for any business from what i have experienced. They will tell you they will offer you a free 12 months if you don't get your money back at least but 12 months x $0 is still $0. Great Service
A wonderful service, especially for finding someone to do small jobs no one else will touch! I will certainly be using it again. Dale, my service man was prompt, efficient, and what I thought would be a fiddly job was done within a day of contact.
