What do you do with the sim card when finish and can you transfer the data etc to my own number or my number to the sim card
3 answers
Unfortunately, no you can't transfer unused data to you phone. I was aware the terms and conditions before I bought the SIM so there were no surprises. You can visit their website. It has all the information that may help you decide. The SIM that I bought was good for 30D and I was only in Europe for 15 days so I had more than enough data.
Exactly what Sarah said! If you get the 30 day card it will expire after 30 days and if you only travel for 2 weeks then you can’t use the remaining days in Australia. Still worth it though!
Thanks Ladies much appreciated

Hi, my phone is locked to Vodafone. Would this sim work in it?
1 answer
I dont think so. Phones provided on locked service contracts need to be unlocked before they can accept sims from other providers.

I bought a Sweden 12GB Sim Card recently and will arrive Nov 29 in Stockholm. At the airport I need to make a local call. Do I need to add the country code (46) to the number or can I dial the local number directly?
Johannes in Canada
1 answer
Yes you will need to add the country code depending on where the SIM number is based. We had a UK based number so we added the prefix before local numbers when we were in Italy recently and it worked perfectly. Please keep in mind that the SIM takes 30 mins to activate once you have reached, and sometimes upto an hour if it is peak time. Hope that helps.

Hello there, although most reviews give glowing references, I was a bit concerned that the one review concerning a visit to Peru showed the reviewer claiming nigh on zero connectivity, should I be aware of any problems I can encounter as I have purchased a card and am travelling to Peru?am hoping that the reviewer in question was a one off as I have sick family in England and it is vital I can communicate with them as well as the doctors dealing it

Can I call and text other mobile numbers of friends I will be travelling with.
1 answer
Hi. I had no issues calling and texting European numbers (the countries I was in). But when I tried sending a couple of texts to an Australian number, they didn't go through.

why did the sim card not work for 1 reviewer ?? aug 15 ?? we are looking for a card for UK?italy and france... any suggestion ?

All European Union countries deregulated phone bills. Therefore if you buy a sim in any one of the countries you are visiting the charges will remain the same in all of the European Union countries. We have family in the United Kingdom who take their phone's to Spain and Italy all the time and do not have to do anything I suggest you buy one locally
I've used Woolworth's Global Roaming twice in Europe, no problems. Had 3GB data and calls over 1 month for $50. You can pick them up at Woolworths but you need to speak to someone at the counter, they don't have them displayed on the shelves.
