I am finding that this is helping to improve the overall tone and texture of my skin, and reducing breakouts/pimples. However I did have issues initially. Ease into a twice daily usage and do not use with other harsh products initially if you have sensitive skin! e swelling and laid off both creams for another two days. Had read some other reviews on Amazon where a girl had a similar reaction, who cut back to once daily, and then eased into twice daily after about a week. I did the same and now after two weeks am getting great results. The first week my skin was very dry and peeling - but it seems to be the old dead skin that needs to come off - so deal with it. Exfoliate well to help get rid of it, do masks once or twice a week and use bio-oil at night to help moisturise. After about a week and a half I am no longer dry and peeling (though I definitely need to use moisturiser and bio-oil at night) and the overall condition and texture of my skin is far better than prior to using the gamma hydroxy. Much smoother and brighter, and I think starting to lighten some scarring and pigmentation. I am having trouble with some hormonal pimples that are exacerbated by some issues with my wisdom teeth - but they are nowhere near as bad as they would be without using this product - and not experiencing pimples elsewhere. About me: I have fair, combination (as prone to oiliness and dryness) skin that is also sensitive to harsh chemicals and products. I had high hopes for this cream from reading other reviews ...but as soon as I started using it, I started breaking out ...alot. I never get pimples usually but the more I used it, the worse it got. I did read that you should persavier with it but I couldn't stand the breakouts.
bad breakouts ....cystic lumps :(

I'm female, 34 and have had good skin all my life. The past 6 months I was using a shampoo and conditioner has left my skin scared and bumpy from acne/clogged pores. After getting rid of that i've been using Gamma Hydroxy and the Microdermabrasion kit for a month. I use gamma hydroxy every 2 days and i do a microdermabrasion each week. I haven't increased the usage yet because i am scared of triggering a bad reaction.

I am satisfied with gamma hydroxy forte from skin doctor. A month a go my face full of acne scars . Now it is almost gone. My husband gives me lots of compliments about my skin face. Now I don't have to put heavy foundation to cover up my acne scar. I am so confident about my skin now. Beside i use gamma hydroxy forte i use skin doctor Microdermabrasion every 3 days and also skin doctor super moist SPF 30+. So far i am so happy with the result

Skin Doctors - Gamma Hydroxy
Unfortunately I've had a negative reaction to this product. The lotion has caused contact dermatitis along the left side of my face and bottom of my neck. Consequently I would not recommend this for sensitive skin. Be sure to do a test patch first. The dermatitis did not appear until after the third application.

r a week that my skin had lost its dullness and really started to shine. It also helped with acne. Initially i was a little concerned using the product because i spend alot of time in the sun, but i have not had any issues with my skin being more susceptible to burning. Can't live without it now! I am fifty. I've been using this product for a month with the Eye Smooth from Skin Doctors. The results within 10 days were amazing. People ask me if I have had a facelift.
This product does wonders for dull skin and pigmentation!!!
Have the Gamma Hydroxy, use morning and night. Do you wear day and night cream over product.

s very dry and this skin product helps heaps. When I use it continuely my skin is really good. I have just bought a jar of the "Youthcell" so will give that a go.I have tried a number of the Skin doctor range and they are all great. ne month is that it really does strip the skin of all dead cells but it also strips the 'good' skin oils. This is a BIG contributing factor to skin acne. I was so frustrated with my acne that i made it worse by trying to get rid of the surface layer, drying it out and forgetting to put the moisture back in. I stressed my skin out so it overproduced oil to compensate = pimples galore. Once i started loading up the moisturiser daily and nightly and dropping the gamma hydroxy to fornightly (then monthly) i rarely see a blemish. Got my good skin back - my beautician is to thank for the insight Becky01
