The base is poorly designed and is not a good fit for the sleeping duck mattress. The legs are too far out on the frame making them easy to stub toes on. Bed is only 12 months old and fabric covering frame (a very mediocre black hessian) has split in one section. There is no return policy on the base - I called to complain shortly after it arrived and was basically told they know it’s a substandard product but don’t really care. Mattress is adequate but badly let down by a very badly designed base. Won’t buy from sleeping duck again.
