Tungsten sharpeners do not work...
Got this Jiff-S in my Smith comprehensive knife sharpening system a few years back...
Tungsten knife sharpeners should only be used on the cheap and nasty knives as they destroy the metallic structure of the blade edge itself by ripping / shearing metal off the blade rather than shaping the metal to a edge - it'll also destroy your knife over time by removing too much metal in one area and not enough at the tip...

harpen it with a diamond file to finish the edge - you should also finish the edge with a fine Arkansas stone and dont use any oil - then lap on leather or cardboard. There is also a ceramic scisor sharpener on its side that doesnt work either? Its a complete gymic tool that's dangerous to use and frightens me; I've sharpened machete's and other large blades by traditional methods and never felt so insecure when I used this for the first time and strangely the last time! I have had one of these for a few years. I was sharpening a bread knife last year, and not concentrating. One slip and I required 7 stitches in my little finger.
