Hi, can someone please advise where I can buy replacement bands? My daughter is 8years old and she is a little build, so the watch looks huge and bulky on her little wrist. Thought maybe trying a thinner band might make it a little more comfortable for her to wear.
Kind Regards,
Mel

We charge it over night each night for the whole night. If the battery runs out at other times then just charge it until it is 100pc. It seems to charge pretty quickly.

Hi there!

The watch emitting warmth may indicate it is having trouble completing a process and is working harder than normal. This can sometimes be due to the service provider used or the coverage in the area, but I would recommend contacting our support team on 1300 087 423 or email [email protected] so they can check on things for you.

Hi Bianca,

Sorry to hear that this is happening to your watch. When the charging dock is sending power to the watch the light changes between green and red, so based on what you have described it seems like there may be something preventing the watch from charging. If you haven't already, I would recommend contacting our support team so they can look into this for you. They can be reached by emailing [email protected] or by phoning 1300 087 423.

Can can I send a text on my spacetalk watch

1 answer
Spacetalk
SpacetalkSpacetalk

Hi Sheryl,

You can send text messages to and from the SPACETALK watch. Once the watch is paired up to the AllMyTribe app you should be able to go into the contacts menu on the watch and select the messaging icon next to the contact you would like to send a text message to. Alternatively, if a message has been received on the watch you can press the option to reply to that message.

I hope this was helpful! For more information feel free to call our support team on 1300 087 423 or email [email protected]

How do you write a message on spacetalk

1 answer
Spacetalk
SpacetalkSpacetalk

Hi Sheryl,

If the watch has the latest update you should be able to access Spacetext. When you go to write a message (either by replying to a received message or selecting the message icon on the contact list) it will still open to the default preset message list, if you swipe to the left and right you should be able to see the emoji keyboard and the new Spacetext keyboard which allows free text entry.

If you aren't able to see this you may need to update the watch by going to Information > System Upgrade.

I hope this has helped answer your questions. For more information you can call our support team on 1300 087 423 or email [email protected]

I got a SAPCETALK from JB HiFI for my daughter. I was using Kogan mobile sim, which uses Vodafone network on the back end. I noticed "no signals" issue multiple times & the watch was sent for repair a few times. In the end we were told to go for Telstra network if problem persists. So my question is if we can use any of the following providers which use Telstra network (Woolworth mobile, ALDI mobile, Boost, Belong, LycaMobile)?

1 answer
Spacetalk
SpacetalkSpacetalk

Hi Jamshed, all of the service providers you have mentioned operate on Telstra's network and will work fine with SPACETALK, although we usually recommend Belong as their $10/mo plan is a great fit for our watch! This plan comes with unlimited calls and texts as well as 1GB of data which is plenty for what the watch will generally use in a month. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us on 1300 087 423 or via email at [email protected]. - Zach

Our watch has been returned to sky who we took the contract out with, like you couple of calls battery nearly flat, was showing child’s was 100 miles away from us, he was in the same room

Spacetalk
SpacetalkSpacetalk

Hi Leigh,
The battery life of the SPACETALK will differ depending on usage, the key factors that impact this being the frequency of the location updates and the volume of calls made from the watch. On the 15 minute location update setting with a light amount of calls made, the battery should generally last for around 10-14 hours. On the 1 hour update setting with similar usage, you could expect around 20+ hours of battery life.

If this isn't the case for your watch. I'd recommend contacting our support team so that they can look into this for you. You can reach them on 1300 087 423 or [email protected]

Costly mistake
My daughter got one for Xmas, had to return the first one, did not recognise the SIM card. The replacement still took a while for the sim to recognise, them had to purchase a subscription. Doesn’t pair correctly only 50% functionality between app and device, removed the device, tried to reset watch only to be asked a Numerical password which I did not set up. What a joke, will return for a full refund.

Hi Cherie,

Sorry to hear you have been experiencing issues with your SPACETALK. The password to reset SPACETALK is the last 4 digits of the IMEI number. This IMEI number can be found in the information app on the SPACETALK or underneath the barcode on the original box. If you are still experiencing issues getting it set up please give our team a call on 1300 087 423 or contact them via email at [email protected] and they will be able to assist.

Ruby The Questioner

Ruby The Questionerasked

Is this watch safe for an 8 year old, does it have any radiation ?

1 answer
Spacetalk
SpacetalkSpacetalk

Hi Ruby!

There are very strict International Standards which govern the amount of radiation exposure against defined limits. Australia is among 40 other countries that adopt high standards designed to reduce exposure to harmful radiation. The actual test is called Specific Absorption Rate (SAR for short) and the rate needs to be below 2W/kg for proximity to head and 4W/kg for wrist worn. The highest measurement when SPACETALK was tested was 0.429 W/Kg for front of face, and 1.870 W/kg for wrist worn. SAR is among one of the very important tests that must be completed in order to be able place the Australian Regulatory Compliance mark. SPACETALK displays this RCM mark in the Information menu under Regulatory Compliance section.

I hope this has helped answer your question. If you would like any further information you can reach our support team on 1300 087 423 or [email protected]
