Starcity Removals stored credit card information without my permission when I paid $100 deposit, and made unauthorised charges on my card even before the end of the removal service. They charged me 8.5 hours of work (including call out time) without permission at the 6th hour and refused to communicate when I asked them. The removalists took advantage of this unauthorised charges to slow down their work progress when they could have done it faster. In the end, only 8 hours of work was done (including the call out time) and Starcity Removals refused to return the extra half an hour charge. The two removalists were careless, and made a big dent on the side of my fridge and also left obvious scratches on my tiles.

Highly recommending this company if you are seeking a removalist company. James and Michael were very helpful and professional.

We’ve had the worst experience moving with them. Some of our stuff was missed and some damaged. Despite telling we received someone else’s boxes there was no response. IRRESPONSIBLE and INCONSIDERATE

I had to reschedule the move last minute and they easily did so for me, no fuss. They moved a large 2 bedroom apartment (including fridge, dining set, couch and queen bed) halfway across Sydney in amazing time, they arrived exactly on time and were done in about 3 hours from start to finish. No damage on the items or the apartments, everything wrapped up and the bed disassembled and reassembled in place. I didn’t have to do a thing. I have a back injury from a previous move that expected me to do half the work on each end, so it was such a relief to leave it in their hands. James Troy and Jacob took care of everything, they were great.

We moved from Toowoomba to Sydney and StarCity movers did a great job. It was a 10/10 experience. Danny and Brenden were brilliant - they were punctual, competent, quick and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better service. If I move again, I'll definitely use their services.

4 bedroom house and we moved from ACT to Port Stephens. The move was on time and nothing was a problem. We had a lot of heavy furniture and moved into a town house.

I relocated from Brisbane to Victoria with this company. I got a ripped sofa, scratchy fridge, damaged vacuum cleaner and lost my white board. I asked to transfer my car, after payment I didn't get a proper response in terms of my car location, when I receive it. They are so rude and always harsh on me. They are so unexperienced and unprofessional. With this company, you will loose your money, stuffs and at the end no response from them. They just want money, and don't provide a good service. Terrible company. going to lodge my claims through the other agencies.

-the 3 guys they sent Brendon, Garry and the short stocky guy with brown shaved hair were excellent at their jobs and good blokes.Cant speak highly enough of them
-our goods arrived in the same condtion as they left

NEGATIVES
-we weren't informed of what time they would be arriving til the night before and for an interstate move when a lot of planning needed to be done on our end that was no where near enough notice.
-head office debited our card on 2 occasions with out consent. Illegal and unprofessional.
Not sure if id recommend them based on the uncertainty of not being informed earlier and having time to adequately plan

I did a removal from my unit in Melbourne to Sydney. It was booked in pretty much last minute but was done overnight which is great. I will recommend to friends & family for their removals.

Starting with Verity with her friendly prompt replies to Danny and Ben who treated our possessions with the utmost care and respect that made our move stress free.
They were so helpful with the placement of our items, it was such contrast to another company that we had used in the past.
Their professionalism is a credit to them and a huge asset to StarCity.

Ben and Adam were great! They make my move from Canberra to Melbourne so easy (around 30 boxes). They picked the boxes late but they told me earlier enough for this change so it's all good. Arrived on time and finished in an hour. Helpful and friendly people. Sarah who was the initial contact to confirm this job was nice as well, efficient and professional. Thank you once again for all your help.

We moved locally last Wednesday (29/05/19) with the help from both Chris and Jai at Star City Removals. Found them both to be very friendly and professional in assisting with the move. They worked through their own lunch time to ensure that we were moved into our new place so it gave us time to set up before the girls came home from school. There was no damage to any of the furniture and always were able to find a solution to the 'problem' if the furniture was unable to fit into the house. We are grateful for their professionalism and expertise. I would recommend them to anybody wanting to use their services and will be using them again the near future.
