Good car Bad comfort
Recently had 8 days in Tassie in a brand new rental Swift. As a mechanical device, it's great, but as an all-round car, it has two significant failings. 1) Comfort - drive 200kms and see if you can stand up straight, let alone walk. Totally debilitating. I got to the point where I hated getting into the drivers seat. 2) Handling - this is not a car for inexperienced drivers. ed. Add a few bumps and a bit of speed and it's downright scary or exhilarating depending on your own fear factor level. On the plus side, plenty of internal space and fuel efficient. On the quirky, took me two days to realise in fact there were door handles on the rear doors (high up at the top of the fixed rear quarter panel windows) and the GPS can't be set while moving. Terrible car
10 Visits to the dealer in 9 months. Now being told I have to pay for the labor for suzuki to investigate a fault they keep telling my doesnt exist.
Have constant smoke from burning entering the cabin through the air vents.
Brakes had to be replaced at 1800kms
Power window fault has been repaired 4 times
