LUV IT LUV IT LUV IT! Had a Peugeot for years before this, so I expect alot and I wasn't disappointed. Its looks small from the outside, but when you sit in it its super spacious and really classy! Super economical, I have the auto, use the air con and am a leadfoot and get 7 - 7.2litres/100km around town. Very quick to fold down rear seats for my golf gear too. Silky smooth auto change, and VERY QUIET. 15000klm service interval is handy too! If you want to spend $15 - 20K, dont buy anything else!
Space, economy, seating, level of equipment, great motor, fun to drive, great auto gearbox, safety features, good brakes
Paint work, mines black and chips very easily. Get everyone in your house to put rubber protectors on their doors!

I have never driven a more fun 5 door car in my life. It loves to be revved and it gets up and goes when it needs to. It looks miles better than all the other boring small cars out there.
The suzuki swift has an unusual amount of space for such a small car. It is an absolute pleasure to drive and is it's not gutless like some of the other small cars on the market. It loves to be revved and it gets up and goes when it needs to. I have never driven a more fun 5 door car in my life.
The steering has a slightly dead feel to it. (this is a very minor gripe though)

I tested many small cars before buying my swift. Price wise you cant beat it and it comes with many extras you pay extra for with other cars. Had the car over 12months now and havent had a problem with it. Just love my little swift.
comes with more safety features you pay extra with other small cars.
I chose black which I regret. Gets dirty very quickly. Not as fuel economical as I thought it would be.

Looked at many cars before deciding on a Swift (wife's car). She loves it. It is very smooth for a small car, the engine is a delight and it is comfortable and roomy, although I suspect anyone wanting room for a pram, anything substantial to go in the boot would be turned off, although it's probably not much smaller than most of the competition. We traded a Getz which had given good service, but the Swift is for a long daily commute and is a far more comfortable car, very quiet at any cruising speed. Sticks to the road very well. Very, very...Read more
frugal on the petrol, I think the readout shows an average over the first 3,000 klms of 15.8 k's per litre, so about 6 litres per 100 klms - outstanding given a fair bit of traffic involved. If you're in the market for a car of this size and specification, I don't think you'll do better. Enjoy! Quiet, comfortable, feels very solid for a car this size. Good standard inclusions, plenty of power and very driveable throughout the rev range. Safe handling, good brakes. Has developed a small vibey rattle in the dash with only 2,000 kays on the clock. Although my wife loves the self adjusting volume on the sound system, I find it cranks up too fast with just a little bit of acceleration (maybe it's my wife's choice in radio station, though!!!)Similar opinion? Bad
I wouldn't buy this car again - before this i had a 2003 Suzuki Ignis and it was almost half the price and i never had any issues with it!
I have a 2006 swift sport, looks good, great fuel economy, handles brilliantly, the seats are comfy.
I had a LOT of mechanical issues with this car and during the first 6 months it spent more time in the Suzuki garage having things fixed than in my driveway. For a long time i wished i had never bought it - especially since it was so expensive. Just had the stereo unit replaced in it as well because the CD fu...Read more

Good
I love this car! It's perfect for me and the kids! Great on fuel and zips around the place!
Very handy with parking - can park just about anywhere! Very roomy which is suprising with it's size. Very economical on the fuel. Was very cheap including all the extras.
Disappointed about how they put the cruise control in (was on the steering column and we thought it should have been on the steering wheel). Has a blind spot beside the back passenger - not very good when reversing! Indicator is too quiet.

I would highly recommend this car. Ideal commuter, great for battling traffic with, cheap to buy and run, responsive and fun to drive. For the money appointments and quality I can't believe more people don't own them! I will be buying another one shortly.
Outstanding value for money. Great fuel economy, very well featured including safety features, accurate and responsive to drive, comfortable, nippy and very easy to park.
Panels are a little lightly built. Not sure I'd like to hit something fast and hard in it. My gearbox became just a little noisy (whiny) after about 15000k's I believe this to be a common issue.

I have sold them and own one for myself. It took a long time for the other manufactures to come up with anything even close to this good in a similar car for the money and Suzuki are still in front. The back seat can be a bit lumpy in 05 - 06 models. 07 onwards changed the back seat to a diferent conguration which is more comfy but not as user friendly as the first attempt where the back seat could be folded up against the front seats to creat a little 2 seat wagon with heaps of space. I love my one and wouldn't even consider another make or mo...Read more
del. Fits a pram no worries. Don't pay more than $17,000 on road for the base model in manual. You wont regret buying one of these. Just look at how many are on the road. All those people cant be wrong. Japanese quality for Korean price. Do it. Looks great, smooth, quiet, interior finish, safety, handling, fuel economy, resale value, colour choice, long distance comfort, head room, standard features. back seat comfort, front bumper clearance.Similar opinion? The swift is the best car yet from suzuki. Feels european and drinks fuel like a Japanese. The boxy design makes it the ideal car for parking. Great job suzuki!
The control, feel of the car, the price and looks sexy..its a complete package
The gearbox, sometimes its difficult to engage 1st gear. Takes some practice to get use to the clutch.

Good
I would definitely buy one again. Not the most economical car in 1.5 litre range, but makes up for that with build quality, big tyres, wide stable stance, and it's a fun car to drive. (and I'm 69!).
Good looks, speedo etc where they should be behind the steering wheel and not in centre of dash like Yaris, and not a long sloping windscreen like that chunky monstrosity. Economical - I average between 6.6 to 7.0 litres/100 km. Good seat comfort, and roomy, especially head clearance. Silver metallic paint doesn't show dirt and good quality.

OK
Great stylish looking car, is a pity it is let down with a cheap nasty paint job. It is economical to run, easy to drive, but paint is making it look shabby
Looks great, very economical. Can fit a surprising amount in it and it has more leg room that you would expect for its size
It has to be the world's worst paint job - is metallic blue and it scratches if you justlook at it. This is very disappointing and has ruined the car for me. Also the catches to drop the back seat were jammed - got them to fix it when it went in for the 15000 km service - they had to take the whole seats out and broke the plastic covers when they put them back

I connected my wife’s mob to the our car’s wifi, but now my phone doesn’t work. Does the system only allow one phone connection at a time? Is there some way I can connect my phone also (and also my son’s phone) so that we can choose a simple phone connection when we jump in the car?
Thanks
