Motherboard failed after two months of ownership
- Impressive hardware supportability. I had SSDs installed for this NAS
- After an official firmware update, the NAS stopped working
- Cause of the issue was a faulty motherboard. This was just after two months of purchase
- Considering the cost of the NAS, it didn't last very long. My QNAP NAS lasted more than four years and only developed bad sectors on the HDD.
- The after sales support for the these things, in fact any computer related hardware is horrible.
