JB HIFI have it at $1100 (10th Dec 2017).
My only concern was where TCL might be located and how hard warranty would be. E.g. China or Taiwan? Or perhaps inter-state?? (Out of NSW).
.
JB HiFi very helpful but their prices are mostly retail and must negotiate!!!

Q: Cannot find info on what video/audio file formats and Codecs supported?
Q: Cannot find photo of remote control?
Q: Cannot find the detailed specs - E.g. picture refresh rate in Hz (E.g. 100Hz, 400Hz, 1,000Hz or 50Hz?)
Q: Cannot find photos & screen shots of the interface and PVR functionality...?

All budget 4k tvs will refresh at 50 or 60hz. Most high end tvs are the same. A few very expensive tvs will be 120hz...but they will say 200, but this is basically marketing jargon. TCL warranty is ok, JB has consumer law requirements to fix faults. The pvr and most of the application features are all Android for TV.
I wish the manufacturers providers more details of what you can do in these tv's with android. After researching, I just found out it has 10GB of storage!
So now I am deciding between TCL P20 60" $1,000 /or Kogan 55" PVR & Android Agora KU8000 /or Kogan 55" PVR & Curved MU9500 $650.
As both Ultra HD I assume the 55" will be more clear than the 60"? Also price between MU9500 and 9000 and 8000 must fairly different - Samsung, LG and AOI / AIO (I forget exact manufacturer name of the curved MU9500).
Maybe I should go to Whirlpool Forums to discuss...
