Great cooking experience with built-in recipes
Makes great risottos, stews and curry's to name a few and the best velvety pumpkin soup. Great addition to the kitchen. The cooking times are so much faster than the traditional method. I love using tefal brands can't live without them.

I love the Tefal Cook4Me, I purchased it almost three years ago, and its been an awesome appliance.
As with all cooking you have to learn how to operate it and manage the specifics of cooking what you want with it and it has an idiosyncrasy that I had to learn to get around, once you get the hang of it, happy days.
It has an ingredients function where you can select one thing to cook including rice, vegetables and grains, my experience with it is it does that beautifully in quick time (set and forget). The browning function does an aweso...
Read moreme job, just so long as you do larger lots in batches so you don't over power the element and stew your ingredient in their own juices (just like every other electric cooking appliance including stove tops, I cook for around 6 people usually and its not a problem). Some of the in built recipes tend to be watery, if you reduce the amount of liquid from the recipe in the book that comes with the Tefal, the cooker sometimes comes up with an error meassage (not enough liquid), I ignore that and restart the recipe, as the cooker is a pressure cooker and cooks things very fast, by the time its heated to its full temp and pressurized again its reached the required cooking time and the meal is good to go (error is irrelevant). I mostly use mine for ingredients (rice, vegies ect) or I use my own recipes and cook in the manual mode. I cook some of the inbuilt recipes thought and they can be surprisingly good straight out of the book, and even better once you teak them to your tastes. I leave the Tefal on the bench all the time, I know longer use my rice cooker, stove top steamer or pressure cooker at all, the Tefal does those things spot on. Its easy to keep clean the removale parts fit in the dishwasher, wipe down the outside, turn it upside down in the sink and flush out the lid, so far the non-stick surface has stayed fully intact. Its a great bit of kit, thoroughly recommend this appliance.Purchased in at The Good Guys for $268.

I made the mistake of using my son's new cook4me that he purchased as he was moving out and had never cooked. I had not heard of the Tefal Cook4Me, but he spotted it in the Good Guys while looking for a fridge. We did have a couple of errors re not enough water, but touch wood that doesn't happen as we've learnt the nature of it and what it requires.
At first we were disappointed that there was not a cookbook included - a book of recipe names, but no cookbook. But when my sister purchased hers she was told about the App. Well that has made su...

It’s a good pressure cooker with built in recipes, but I would hardly call it a multi cooker. It’s great for all in one bowl means and does a good job as a faster slow cooker, with similar results. The slow cook function is pretty average and hard to use. The manual says you can slow cook with the lid down, but the appliance itself won’t let you.

I think this product is excellent,. But they do need to look into a decent recipe book also, for cook4 me + some times you want to sit back and look at all the recipe be fore you start and what’s in them, and Tefal customer service centres not much help,

Great for time poor people. Got this after having a baby when we simply didn't have time to cook. Very easy to use and having the ingredients and recipes stored is a bonus. found it very easy to clean also. One thing though I found even though it says 10 minutes for recipe it didn't include the pre heat time and time to release pressure which adds another 15 min

Very easy to use, but not oftern because it’s quite big for small family. Good for slow cook recipe like steam corn or cooking bean. The recipe on the screen is difficult to follow but it has brown onion which is quite good to enrich flavor. Easy to clean, but heavy.

I love my tefal cook4me. It is so easy to use. I can make lunches and dinners really quick and easy. I literally use it every night. Just throw in the veggies, lentils and a sauce, 3 mins and I have my dinner all cooked and infused together, without having to standing and watch the stove. Clean up is simple, only need to wash the bowl. Highly recommend for anyone that is time poor!

We were given this as a wedding present from our friends who are big foodies
Great pressure cooker for a first time user and it was super easy to use and comes with manual/cookbook so you can't get lost.
I found some areas a bit hard to clean but I think that is expected from any pressure cooker.
I haven't tried dishwasher the inside case yet.
If this is the first time you've used a pressure cooker you'll find it makes weird noises when it lets off steam but that is totally normal. I would also recommend putting the cooker outside when the steam lets off as it causes alot of condensation which in some houses causes mould build up even if you have an exhaust fan on.

I only purchased mine today, I was visiting a friend recently and she spoke very highly about hers. We were going out to dinner but I changed my mind as I wanted to try out the new cooker.
I cooked soup, rice, green curry chicken and poached pears in red wine, all turned out perfect, the rice was so fluffy, can't wait to try a larger piece of meat, like a roast, will be getting rid of my slow cooker.I feel it will be easy to adapt recipes manually.
