Watch out for hidden excess data charges
Automatic excess data charges can not be deactivated by the user. You must contact the company and request be disabled. Customer for nearly 12 months, unresponsive to request to review inadvertent charges incurred by child. Lost my business.

Its a Scam.
SCAM, Thief SCAM! They will take your details and dont provide you with any internet then automatically charge your account double the amount that yoh were supose to pay if you had internet. No internet, not even a connection done and double the amount charge. Scam I'm am reporting them and will take them to court if found a real business to be behind this.

Acceptabel service, solid coverage, saving me money for at least 5 years!
As a long time Telechoice mobile customer I thought I would post a review. I've been with Telechoice for at least 5 years and in that time have recommended their mobile SIM deals to friends and family. Initial set-up i.e. porting number over was a breeze and from that point on I've never had a problem with coverage or service. I live in country VIC, so having my phone on the Telstra network is non-negotiable and Telechoice makes this possible for about half the cost! Granted, depending on location, I do not alwayts enjoy 4G access but I can...Read more
deal with this. As I write this, I am about to upgrade and lock myself into to one of their newer, more generous plans 12 month plans. So basically, if you MUST have Telstra coverage, then Telechoice is a solid option. Not sure about their foray into NBN? It seems many negative reviews seem to relate to this, which is probably not suprising. My advice would be stay away and use iiNet or Internode!

Bad service
I am a new customer to Telechoice, it is already hard to start with just for SIM activation, so good luck if you are thinking to use this provider. Tried to ring to activate last night and no one answered, tried again today with several attempt online and via phone only informed by them that they are undergoing service maintenance and is not available to activate on Monday (2 March 2020). no information on the website, or they should just have an auto reply saying that they are undergoing maintenance instead of wasting ppl time!! Super bad management!!! Would not recommend anyone.

Customer service needs improvement
Happy with coverage but not customer service at all, where the recording says” you’re caller #1 “for 5mins or so? Why so looong to attend to the call? Everyone in the team on break or dont care at all!

Terrible Internet.
I upgraded from Foxtel 12 to Telechoice 25 due to constant problems with Foxtel, thinking that their Mobile service was great, I figured their Internet (NBN) service would be good as well. It was the worst move I have ever made, I have been with them for 5 Months & there hasn't been 1 Month where I haven't been on the phone with problems. Do yourself a favour, DO NOT use Telechoice for your NBN.

NOT Telechoice, but Telstra
Until about 2 months ago, I was getting a great service from Telechoice.
Then I couldn't access from inside my house. I had to go outside to get calls.
I lodged a complaint with Telechoice. While typical of a Philippine call centre, they processed the complaint OK, did a whole lot of testing and called me back from time to time on an alternate phone number (my partner's).
During this time, my friends were also complaining about their Telstra MVNO service. They were on either Woolworths or Aldi. We were all complaining of the same problem.
At one of our friends house, we all had our service drop out. So, we deduced it is not the reseller, but Telstra.

Would not recommend
Patchy service since installation and the person who installed my NBN service forgot to set up my landline, which I was unaware of until two months into my plan.
NBN connection (internet + landline) would drop out at least six hours at a time, but would resume automatically. However, if this occurred on a weekend, you would have to simply “wait it out until Monday because technical support team is off on weekends” like their online customer support would tell you whilst offering no alternatives.
Anyways, their mobile services work fine but do not be fooled by this. When it comes to NBN, this company is a mess. Currently searching for another provider.

Fantastic service.
I have been with TeleChoice for approx 18 months. It was so easy to set up. The phone service is amazing, never had drop outs, and download speeds very fast. I am extremely happy with TeleChoice and would recommend them 100%.

They keep billing after service was cancelled
The local store was very helpful with the purchase and set-up of the plan but cancelling the service was far more difficult than it needed to be.
30 days notice was provided in writing to cancel the contract/service as per their T&C.
After the billing period they kept sending invoices.
It took many emails to resolve which should not have been necessary.
They seem to be money and not customer focused.

Messy, confusing, very poor support & website experience...
Been with Telechoice for over 2 years for phone data plan. This works well. But the customer support and website experience is appalling. Emails never answered, Zendesk not well trained. Trying now to purchase a new phone deal from the website, the process is ambiguous (login details) Phoned the helpdesk and got cut off just when it was my turn in the queue, Zendesk dropped out twice and of course you get a different support person when you try again... the Paypal payment took the payment for the phone purchase, then an error message appears wi...Read more
th some messy coding and was sent back to the website with no payment confirmation on website. Contacted zendesk again and they said they would send an email to head office to confirm my purchase. Just hope it arrives as I'm not looking forward to chasing this up again. At the last check, the website had no Return Policy, no FAQ's. So they really need to spend a few dollars on this. It's great to have a cheap Telstra carrier, but I guess you get what you pay for when something goes wrong! UPDATE 29th Dec 2022... Parcel arrived quickly and safely as ordered. I hope this is a sign that Telechoice is working on their weak areas as we're very happy with the phone plans we have with them.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Unbelievable
I did an online nbn request.
At the end i was told someone would call within 48 hours.
I thought that is unusual the nbn setup is usually done online, no calls needed.
So i waited 2 days and no one called.
I did a chat on their web site and was told all requests go to head office nothing she could do, goodbye.
So i waited another 2 days, still no phone call.
So i sent a please explain email to 2 email address off their web site.
3 more days have passed, still no phone call and no reply to either email.
Weird stuff

Worst phone carrier around
My parents changed to telechoice for their landline, nbn and mobiles. It has been 5 weeks and still no landline or nbn connection. Customer service gives you the run around and never follow up on promises to send technicians out.
Telechoice still sends out the invoice without the service being connected then tell my parents to pay $500 if they want to break the contract.
They are the worst company to deal with! we are now dealing with the ombudsman to take further action.
Steer clear!!!

Great Plan
I don't usually write reviews on things, but I cannot recommend Telechoice enough. They're prices are so much better value than other Telstra plans and their service has been great. I've been with them for 8 months now and had no dramas. They also just upgraded my plan from 15Gb a month to 20Gb at no extra cost!

Great service
I have been with Telechoice for 4 years. I have found them to be a great service. I had a problem connecting my email service and via the chat line they were very patient and solved my problem. Could not recommend them more highly. Great value for money too. SJB

Excellent telco service and friendly customer service
Hi, have been with Telechoice for approx 4 years now. Firstly got my daughter a phone plan and after going on holidays to Northern Territory and found Telechoice was a great as my own Telco service, I decided to change over my own plan too. Since then I have put my younger daughter on a Telechoice plan too now having 3 plans in total. Phone service - never had a problem and the value for money you just can not beat it, I would strongly recommend Telechoice to all. I have three plans so much more data and cost me an extra $5 a month then my old single Telco plan. Thanks Telechoice for upgrading my plans free of charge to give all three plans more data today.
