I would like to thank the team at TeleMates for their special assistance providing Internet service to my premises. I recently tried applying for NBN service with Telstra and found the process very difficult and they lost my order. A friend told me they were with TeleMates and i tried sorting the connection through them. The customer service was very friendly and the guy that took my order followed through and even helped me get connected after the installation was completed. I will not be touching Telstra again. Thank you Telemates You have a very happy customer.

I purchased equipment which was faulty. Had to return it before a refund would be processed. That's fair enough but they've had our money since September and still no refund. Many calls get nowhere. I'm tolds its been passed on to billing. Its been passed on to a manager. Fob off after fob off. Next stop Fair Trading for me.

Telemates is a tricky company
Customer service has only 3 people located in the philippines.( they laughed and said i can do nothing about because they in the philippines and im in Sydney )
They sent a virus to my friends (who is a customer of theirs) computer and forced him to buy AVG for $150 otherwise they wont reconnect him to the internet.
They charged me $299 for $59 installation.
Their website is unsecure

tricky and misleading company

We were bamboozled into signing up with Telemates just over a year ago and the switch back to Telstra is taking a long time, probably because Telemates is not letting us go. A guy from Telstra called this afternoon, but now I supect it was a Telemates rep who might have tricked me into staying with them. Do not use Telemates.

I live in the nt and got a call from this company pretending to be Telstra, I directly asked this man who he represented and he yelled at me and I already told you twice!!! I told him I would report him to the telelcommunications ombudsman and he said oooooooo im sooooo scared in a scarcastic tone it was like dealing with the a male wife basher from some back water country, disgusting, frauds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fruadulent and trying to trick people

We were mislead into thinking the salesman was with our existing phone company which he said was being taken over by telemates. Unknowingly we signed up and were hit with late fees and hidden charges. Very rude and misleading service . Now we are locked in a contract with exit fees. Do not use this company.

Expensive, very poor customer service

I could not understand the bills this company sent me at first i thought it was some sort of deception but after talking to a rather hostile customer service representative i managed to obtain a detailed invioce of services. The bill was far greater than i had budgeted for and there were many hidden costs not properly explained all in all a very unhappy experience.

Rude customer service, High prices, Confusing options

We've been Telemates clients for some years now and have always found them to be competitive in pricing, honest and reliable, they actually care about the client which is unusual in this industry.

It's important to note that their customer service department is fantastic, I'm not sure how they screen their staff but every person we've ever dealt with is professional and solutions orientated and we've never been disappointed with the outcome.

We would not go elsewhere and highly recommend this company.

I feel safe with Telemates when I make an online payment by Credit Card. My browser show the safe locked icon!! Sometimes I just use BPAY or Postbillpay.

We only have problem once when I spent over limit. My partner called them and process went well.

To me, sale reps are aggressive everywhere and that does not represent the service and good price that they have. So if you do not like, just say no.
