Sleeping without overheating
I am a hottie in bed! I mean that I get very hot and kick the bed clothes off. After years of my hubby complaining and telling me to get off him because I am too hot, I found a cure! I discovered Temprakon! I have invested in quilts (summer and winter), matress topper and pillows. I have better nights sleep now and don't kick off the covers. My head also doesn't over heat now. I used to wake up sweating. In winter a couple of minutes under the quilt and it is so cozy and warm. It has NASA technology that helps maintain the ambient temperature. ...Read more
I even got Temprakon booties that are the snuggest slippers ever for winter. I managed to get a baby cot doona for my grandson. It keeps him snug without overheating him. I didn't realise just how good they were until I stayed away from home for a few nights with traditional bedding and found it disturbing waking up hot and cold from kicking off the covers. All washes in the machine and dries in the dryer. I can never go back to ordinary bedding again. I am such a Temprakon convert. The range is not cheap but is very good quality and if you do have problems being a hottie in bed then it is worth the investment long term. I think Snooze is the only outlet that sells it. Baby doonas are from a lady in Sydney who gets them from Denmark direct. Everything about this product is as described in the brochure. No disappointments. Worth getting if you have problems with temperature regulating due to cost involved. You can wash in your washing machine (if it's big enough e.g 8Kg loads) dries nicely in the tumble dryer too. Expensive - $200 for pillows $500 to $700 for doonas.2 comments

What sort of sheets and quilt covers should be used to get the best effect from Temprakon quilts and mattress protectors?
1 answer
I use cotton sheets and quilt covers. Around 250 thread count. You want the fabric to be able to breath which the high three counts won't do well. Just remember when using the quilt that the correct side is facing down toward you. That's the side with the temp regulating beads inside the quilt. I love my temprakon quilts, mattress topper and pillows. I have cared for them and still using them 8 years on.

My elderly mother and her brother used to have temprakon booties that they love but have both worn out. Do you still have these in stock please?

I don't sell Temprakon, I just use them myself. I bought all mine from Snooze but they stopped selling them. My advice would be to search online for them. Or contact Temprakon in Denmark and ask them who will stock the booties in Australia. They really are a great product so I hope you have success.
