TERRIBLE service, avoid at all costs
You place an order, they take your money, and then you never hear from them. No idea if the items you bought are actually in stock or on backorder. They've already exceeded their "ship within 1-3 business days" policy by a week and they ignore all email inquiries. NEVER AGAIN. There are too many good online bike shops to waste your time and money with these scammers.

Good Service
Our order was received within what we considered was a reasonable time frame. All items we requested were received without any damage and packaging was most satisfactory. We would have no hesitation purchasing from them again.

If I could give no stars I would
I have contacted this company 3 times now after purchasing a bike nearly 3 weeks ago as a birthday gift. I received an email advising it was awaiting delivery and I would get tracking details within 1-5 business days. That was 14 days ago now and I have no idea whether the bike is in stock or whether I have been scammed.
If you are going to operate a business whose sole communication is email, have the courtesy to reply. It is very concerning and I would not recommend them!!

Advertised item for sale, took my money, told me later that they didn't have it in stock.
Went to their site to buy a new bike helmet, found the model and colour I wanted. It was advertised for sale and in stock. They write to me a week later saying they just happen not to have the item I wanted. Strange that - they were VERY happy to take my money. Offered me a refund or alternate product/colour. I wrote asking about another product and they just ignored me. I had to buy the item elsewhere and I've asked bicycle store for a refund. As all the reviews seem to say - really bad service indeed. I won't use them again.

Yeah, I got caught out too.. .
Usual story, didn't do my research because it was only a couple of wear and tear things I needed that came to less that $100. Two weeks later and no notice of receiving the order, packing or sending the items. A standard automated reply to emails.
Stay well away people, you need your money more than scammers do.

Ordered bike trailer Sunday night, received email Monday afternoon stating order was prepared and awaiting shipping. Received a further email on Wednesday night saying the item is out of stock. Was offered refund or store credit but this is not good enough. Why say the item is awaiting shipping if not even in stock? issues. Avoid this company! **Update** This extremely dodgy, scammer company has just sent an email stating that a refund can not be issued whilst a PayPal dispute is in progress. This is not true. PayPal recommends a dispute is never closed until refund or mutual agreement with seller is made. If you close a dispute it cannot be reopened and refund will be lost. Avoid! Avoid! Good price
Was shopping for two surly racks, this store had best price, i paid the $398.
Whilst waiting i read some reviews and became very concerned that i had lost my money.
I emailed the store and offered some alternative preferences to send in place of the racks as i was expecting to be told the racks were out of stock.
After about a week i got a shipping notification and my order was delivered three days later.
Cannot complain with the goods as they were perfect, or shipping as it was free.
Do not expect great communication as it seems to be lacking for whatever reason.

Placed an order 16 days ago and was charged $50 delivery for a dog carrier. I live 30 minute across town (Pick up not an option unfortunately). Awaited a week. After emailing them for information on when I might expect delivery I received a “tracking number”. After 8 days there has been no update on the Australia Post tracking number so I’m assuming the Bicycle Store are printing off shipping labels but not actually dispatching. Two days ago I emailed to ask them to confirm that my item had indeed left their premises....still waiting for a reply. Tried calling with no luck either. Their website showed stock and I was expecting delivery within 2 to 3 days as most reputable companies offer.
Products still have not arrived 9 days later and I am now wondering if it will.

Order from any other bike shop
I placed an order 15 days ago wrote them an email a week after placing the order asking them when it will be getting delivered ect and they were just horrible with replying took them days I had to write atleast 10 emails to get an answer out of them just for them to let me know yesterday that the bike I had ordered was out of stock and that they would refund me the money

Bottom line at the top here - I ordered a few items and they were delivered just fine.
Why not 5 star?
There was brand substitution on a tube, but it's one I'm OK with. Yes, it's not the same brand as specifically shown in the web site, but I think the quality is the same.

Very poor service
I ordered online 2 weeks ago. So far I have not received any items, not even an email with tracking details or any other communication to say there is any issue with the items I have ordered. I sent an email on Monday which was responded to Tuesday night saying that the order should have easily left the warehouse and they would chase up to see what the hold up is. I have not heard anything further even as I have replied to the email Wednesday morning with a follow up today. There are no other contact details for this business other than an email address.

Off to a shaky start
I was feeling uneasy about my purchase during the first week as I had not received any acknowledgment, as in receipt, or dispatch information. I wrote an email to The Bicycle Store via their website but received no reply. I decided to go back to PayPal to see if they thought that was normal or not. That email just got forwarded on to the store. I have now received my items am very pleased with My purchases. My issue is not with the website or the products, just the lack of follow up correspondence. Hence, for this reason, I will not be using them again

Very misleading listings and worst customer service!
I bought some bike spoke reflectors from them. The listing showed a whole pack of them and for that the prices was good. When it arrived, I was stumped to see they only sent one single reflector, not one pack! Only on VERY detailed perusal of the listing could you determine a small drop down menu and if and when you clicked on that, there was a small footnote 'sold singly'. Now, if you weren't planning to deceive people, why wouldn't you put an image of just a single spoke reflector at least ALSO with the listing instead of a whole pack??? And...Read more
why hide the clarification in an extra click that's hardly noticeable?? I complained and asked to at least have my $10 delivery cost refunded as a sign of courtesy - the spoke reflector weighs about 2 grams and came in a simple letter. They didn't even bother responding until after at least four emails - at which point I got a very unfriendly, unapologetic and snippy response and a refusal to do anything about it at all. But my threat to report them to the Department of Fair Trading worked at least in that far that they have changed the listing slightly, now mentioning the 'sold singly' in the item description without a further click. But I claim it is still misleading because the image is still of a whole pack. Yes, I'll have one single pack, thanks! Atrociously bad customer ethics, unfriendly and mean - I would never give them my money again! But don't take my word for it! The only reviews the allow on their Facebook page are Feefo (paid and exclusively positive - google it) - and there they've got nothing to show! They won;t allow any real customers to review them, either on Facebook or Google. Speaks volumes, doesn't it??? So I hope you checked here first before buying from them. Dodgy company different brand items
Hi i ordered vanquish butted handle bars $35 and a saddle robon seat, and when they finally arrived and took the items out of the packaging they had sent me a $20 zoom handle bars so i was disapointed i wanted the vanquish bars as they were reinforced and strong enough for were I ride as the cheap zoom bars are no good for off road or down hill riding totally defeats the purpose, i have emailed them and no response how dodgy so think twice before you order from them you might not get what you ordered.

I will never use them... I got different brand item....
Hard to communicate with them as they take days to reply email and they dont have phone number. They didn't send the correct item.... as the item I bought was sold out they send me different cheaper brand which I could bought for half the price else where.... even after I complained and ask fill refund via few emails I still not heard back from them ....

Would never use again, was not a once off
Hating to leave bad reviews but this is needed.
Last time, bought a Thule Bike Roof Carrier, a kids bike arrived, had to send that back and until they received it they didn't send the correct item.
When the correct item arrived they posted in the retail box for a shop, so this fell apart and it was damaged.
With countless email, a part was sent out to fix.... but this was for a roof rack for a strange car....
THULE ended up sending the part out, and this took many months.
2nd Time.
Bought two WHITE walled cruiser tyres and two BLACK knobby off road dirty tyres arrived.
Send back and still have not received them, the next business day will be 4 weeks since the order.

Product arrived but when there was a problem...
Two months after returning a defective tyre I dont have a replacement. They refused to replace it themeselves and apparently sent it to the manufacturer as a warranty issue. Despite what it says on their website, they've also refused to refund the postage I had to pay to return it.

Poor customer service

Hi Ray, lodge formal complaints with ACCC, Fair Trading and depending on how you paid, request a refund or lodge a card dispute. They are full blown scammers and need to be shut down. If people keep just walking away because "it's too hard" they will continue to get away with this. I am taking them down!

I kept sending email after email and eventually they once sent a snotty response without an apology or any whiff of customer service. No further responses either. Anyone reading this, stay WELL away from this online store!

Yes - the vast majority I've dealt with over the years have been good. Wouldn't buy from this one again though. I don't like this rubbish where they bait advertise to get sales on items they don't have in stock and then attempt to sell you a different product with your "store credit". I did manage to get a refund so I guess that's something at least. For bike parts Wiggle are pretty good if you do decide to fix up your mountain bike. Good luck with it!

I hope that they can improve their communication with customers or their business will suffer. I wouldn’t recommend this company as the experience is similar to others. I ended up buying locally through my bike store and wished I had done from the beginning.
