Excellent teapot
The 1.2 litre stainless steel kettle is doubled walled, allowing the tea to stay warm for an extended period.
The tea pot has a removeable tea strainer / holder. Being removeable allows for rinsing to be easily carried out.
The tea strainer is suspended meaning the tea does not sit on the bottom of the pot and after two or three cups have been poured the tea leaves are no longer in contact with the water / tea, so the brew does not continue to steep.
The tea pot pours very easily and the rim around the top opening means the tea does not leak out of the top while pouring.
The lid does not fall off as it is hinged to the tea pot.
It ticks all the boxes.

I get asked all the time where people can buy one of these teapots
I bought this teapot on scoopon for a really great price and we love love love it. I also bought a coffee plunger and travel mugs. They stay hot for so long. Easy to clean, put it in the dishwasher for sparkling new look. wish they made a bigger size as well though.

Good product . can have problems
Ask them not to send it before testing with boiling water, if it whistles, bubbles and gets hot on the outside its no good. This is a good product, but watch this before breaking your heart the first time U use it..
Bought from "Your Home Depot " in sydney, an excellent company to deal with, replacement sent immediately.

sorry but I bought mine on a disposal kind of sight years ago and I don't think they are still around.
I bought this teapot last year and I really liked it. However, the main problem is that it seems that there is a gap right in the bottom of the teapot (in between the double wall) and some tea remnant gets trapped there and you can't get rid of it. You can hear the liquid when the teapot is shaken. When the teapot is washed and put upside down, you could see this dark liquid remnant (from tea) tripling from inside which is not very hygienic. I would be grateful if someone could tell me whether this is a faulty issue (...).
