Bread smelt like paint
We purchased a loaf of bread last weekend (their Tip Top Sunblest Sandwich) range and it literally smelt like Chemical paint. How do you expect to pass quality & control when clearly the bread is inedible. Get on top of your breads, Tip Top.
Purchased in February 2021.

Staple pin inside the wholemeal bread
I ate wholemeal bread bought from woolworth last month or so and i found a staple pin inside after a couple of bites. Shocking. I sent email to tiptop and never receive any apology reply whatsoever. I wasn't actually suing them. Told my wife not to buy tiptop breads anymore but she ignores my warning and still buy them for the kids. If any of my kids choked because of this one day, i will definitely sue tiptop.

Soft, tasty and healthy
I usually buy tip top sunblest bread because,
Pros: This bread is very tasty and feels fresh to eat. I like the softness of the bread slice. I buy wholemeal, as it's healthy.
Cons: The reduction in the bread slices.

Something has changed recently
I have been buying Sunblest wholemeal bread for many years and loved it. I have recently noticed that it has changed. The quantity of fibre is the same but its composition looks like it has been altered. Not happy.

A huge Rip Off!
I love bread, but this brand has been steadily reducing the size of the bread slices! The price hasn’t reduced either although the quantity has. The slices are not evenly cut or shaped, and it doesn’t remain as fresh as it used to.
Pros:
•Tastes good
•Produced by a good brand

Cons: •Reduction in quality, size, shape •Not as fresh and goes stale in a few days max •Not really value for your moneySimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Reduction in bread slice size without reduction in price
I have been buying this bread for over 5 years and cannot believe how in the last 6 months the bread slice size has reduced significantly. I live between Sydney and Adelaide and am amazed that South Australia stills sells the original size slice while in Sydney the size is reduced significantly with out corresponding reduction in price. The poor consumer once again is hoodwinked by large companies trying to squeeze more dollar out of the purchaser... I mean what are they saving .00001% on each loaf as it is only dough they have cut down on. The...Read more
insulting thing is the bag still remains the original size to hold the larger slices. The resulting sandwich made from these smaller slices is pathetic and if served up in café people would be rejected. I have bought my last loaf and will now change to a more reputable company.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent
I know its not 'real' tasting bread and not great for your health, but sometimes you just want that soft white bread taste and this is it. The thickness of the miniloaf is halfway between thick and sandwich and its perfect. Also the miniloaf always seems to be fresher tasting too.
I love the miniloaf. It's such a great idea as we always have to throw most of a loaf out by the end of the week. Thickness of the miniloaf bread is perfect.
Rip off for what it is. But all the supermarket bread is these days. Mini loaf is hard to buy - they always run out and you can't get them everywhere.

Good
I have been eating Tip Top Sunblest breads for close to thirty years now. I love that it is a reliable brand for quality and value. I enjoy the soft, fluffy texture of the white sandwich bread and the wholemeal bread.
This is a well known and reliable brand of bread in Australia.
Perhaps every two out of three times I buy the wholemeal sandwich bread, the shape is not uniformly 'square'. The indentation on one side of the bread will protrude into the bread more than it should, which means that it is difficult or near impossible to make well presented, evenly sized sandwiches when you're entertaining for guests.

OK
this bread has definitly changed in the last few years, i remember buying this bread as a child and it was so soft and fresh, now it goes stale a day after buying it and its never fresh to begin with when you buy it. the wholemeal is quite tasty
good variety of bread, the wholemeal is quite tasty. two loafs are usually at a sale price at the supermarkets.
This bread years ago (about 10) used to be so fresh and soft when bought from the store. These days its never as fresh and goes stale the day after buying it.
