Absolute crap
Been trying to set up for hours
Had customers service on the phone, couldnt get it working, will finally set up but then ask it to do something and will start rebooting, and then connect again, ask to stream live and it will get up to 96%then say it failed and to retry
Stay away, will be taking back to JB tomorrow
Purchased in November 2021 at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for A$159.00.

Steer clear
This camera extremely difficult to set up. After hours of frustration and time on the phone to Uniden, I was unable to get it to sync with my mobile phone. In the end I simply threw it away.
Purchased in September 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for A$200.00.

Works extremely well for a sub $200 camera
I had another brand of wifi camera that would always stop working after an update and never worked on my phone over 4G, so I decided just ditch it and go with another brand. I had a uniden in-car camera and settled on the X56 as I liked that I could pan and tilt and also liked that I can plug it directly into the router from its ethernet port if I wish instead of over wifi. /7 help were very helpful and patient at talking me through it, though I think a youtube on each camera setup would be worthwhile for them to do. The app doesn't seem to let you log into multiple devises at the same time so that's a bit annoying that I have to log out of my phone to log into my tablet but I suspect that's a security precaution.

We have a Uniden cam x56 has been working fine up until a week or so ago, fails to alert phone when motion detection and is not longer smart tracking or picking up any movement, camera lags when it does. Have reset, reinstalled app, reinstalled camera, no change. Please help.

Mine is doing that now also, more than likely the last update Uniden have done has stuffed something up. I was going to wait until the after the next update to see if it got fixed, if not I'll be ringing Uniden.
So frustrating, ours won’t do anything now, no notifications and randomly it may sometimes follow a person but is mainly just sitting idle doing nothing
Mine has started randomly sending alerts again, pretty sure there wasn't an update but now everything seems to be working fine with the new software version on my iphone.
