V.I.P. Petfoods Chunkers Chicken with Scrambled Eggs & Parsley
- Chunkers · See All
They used to be good, my dog loved them and I could buy a week's worth at a time but a few months ago their appearance changed, I didn't think much of it but in the last few weeks they have all smelled bad when I open the bag even when well in date, sometimes they have a really salty smell like off ham. I also discovered white mould earlier in the year as others have mentioned.
The bags used to be vacuum sealed, they don't seem to be anymore which likely has something to do with it.
After reading other reviews and seeing others are finding the same I now know it's not just me, I am choosing to cook my own dog food now.
Purchased in at Woolworths for $4.25.

This product made my Malshi very sick with tummy grumbles and not eating for over 24 hours. The product goes smelly and sticky after a few days and well before it's use by date. Should I be freezing it in small portions?

Can bulldogs eat the chicken, egg and parsley chunkers?
I have just purchased the chicken chunkers for my jack russell and she is a very fussy eater but she seems to really like them. As she is a small eater I was wondering if I could put them into ziplock bags in meal sizes and freeze them?
First look at them are they all pink in colour ? I have never done this. My dog loved them but as he was sick after eating them and they went grey the next day I would not try this just in case you ar...

That doesn't last as well without freezing if it's a large like a 2kg one.I keep mine in the chilled compartment in my fridge and they are good for a week I check all the time when I’m feeding her that the colour is right and she won’t eat anything off but it’s only happene...

The online diet calculator asks for a typical calorie count to measure her diet. Can you give me a guide to the calorie content? Thanks
Hi Bella, personally I would not feed my pet this product. That is based on the fact that they have regurgitated their food after eating it. If your dog is overweight I would suggest using a low calor...
