Great, easy to use pram
This pram is amazing.
Its so lightweight and has really great steering.
It fits between most checkout isles and door ways.
I use it to carry two children of different ages and therefor, weights. The difference in weight on either side doesn't impact on the steering or manoeuvrability at all.
The pram is easy to fold down and is light to carry.
It even has a carry handle.
The breaking system is great and the fabric is easy to clean and maintain.
The only issue I have had is that the padding on the handle bar has split. I think due to being in the hot car.
My friend also borrowed the pram and was very impressed.

Light, well shaded and prices well
This is like a bit cheaper version of the Baby Jogger City Mini double in a way. Yes some materials may be a bit cheaper, but that's what you get when saving a bit of money.
Sun shade, compactness, fold, etc all reasonably comparable to the Baby Jogger, Just that the wheels may be not as good (And maybe re sale not as good). What this pram does have as an advantage though is seats go a bit more upright so if you have toddlers that want to feel like they can see more, in this regard it's a bit better than Baby Jogger City Mini double.

Excellent pram (new model)
I have a 2yr old toddler and and 1 month old so I decided to purchased the snap duo and couldn't be more happier!
I did alot of research and found the snap duo is one of the lightest double pram available, the hood can be zipped and unzipped to extend the coverage of bubs, it folds nicely so the inside doesn't get dirty and is actually more compact than the moutain buggy. The new style with individual hoods can be customised in a few colors makes it quite stylish. The big and easy access to the basket below is another good bonus.

n sale online and as I was heavily pregnant at that time I purchased it without trying it first and held my breathe till it came. I got the vogue purple hood and the vogue red hood with the red bootie and tried it out for the first time a few days ago. When we got to the venue I almost thought we won't fit through the door but we did...with ease! I had my toddlers hood zipped and my babys hood unzipped to allow the hood to almost cover him completely and with the bootie my baby felt soo safe and cosy he slept for almost 3 hrs at a noisy play centre. I am soo happy and impressed with this pram.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great for walking
Very easy to pack away.. sum what awkward folding down.. but very light and easy to steer.. i transitioned from the i candy peach double.. to the valco. Its been much easier as the kids are getting bigger in size 2years and 7month old. Highly recommend it for the mums that walk around the neighborhood or dont often go into high density areas

If you need a 2 sitter, this is best value for money
Auto locks on folding, Easy to fold (not exactly one click because of safety, but it's the next best), same with unfolding. a strap for carry - which I keep thinking it might break, but hasn't, and 2 handles, just in case. It's design makes it that you can wheel it while its folded. Light weight for what it is. Goes through most places, for it's size. Buses, trains. Some places are more difficult to nagivate. Huge hood. Clean design, easily cleaned. Wheels are large, so it doesn't take as much effort to steer. Seperately adjustable backs. accessories. The storage basket is reasonably sized - and designed to not touch the wheels when folded. there's pockets. Downside, the foam handle cracked just after warranty expired.

Great pram but won't fit through front door
I really liked this pram which was lent to us by a friend. It was comparatively light, easy to steer and both kids liked being in it.
The deal breaker for us though is that it wouldn't fit through our front door. So I would suggest you check this prior to purchase because I thought and still think our door is of a standard size.
My only other comment is that after some reasonable use the foam handle has started to deteriorate. ..but that's something that can be easily fixed.

Sold my Bugaboo Donkey after buying this pram!
I loved my Bugaboo Donkey but once my second baby came along, I found the extra seat was even more of a struggle to pack up and set up and it took up the whole car boot space (Mazda Cx-5). I purchased the new Valco Snap Duo to take on a holiday with us however I love it so much, I use it everyday. It's so easy and quick being an all in one fold/unfold, I can even do it with one hand holding my youngest baby who is 4 months old. My toddler is 18 months, weight difference is no problem.
Being lighter it's just as easy, if not easier, to maneuver...Read more

Never again!!
The metal shaft of the front wheel snapped while I was walking across a busy road and my whole pram nearly toppled over. It was lucky that I was holding onto the handle firmly or my kids could've been severely hurt.
The company refunded the prams price but not the unused accessories I had bought with it. I had only used this pram a dozen times. I loved the Valco zee which I had before this but I will never buy Valco again!

Best double pram!
We couldn't decide which double pram was best for us as we were upgrading from the bugaboo camelian (we had our second child)
The important details for us were both children's comfort, weight of pram, stability, maneuvering around and folding pram away. I can comfortably say that it ticks all those boxes. My new born slept very comfortably as so did my 3 yr old. Weight is lighter than my bugaboo so that was a bonus. Plus you don't need to separate anything to fold away, yep it's just snap and it folds up and clicks into a lock position. It a...Read more

Great pram, great price
Great pram. Easy to manoeuvre and has good storage space underneath. Quite inexpensive. Light enough and easy to fold and unfold. Not very fashionable and no many colour options though. It seems durable and I don't think I will need another pram at all. Fits most doors. Its hood (one hood covers both seats model) doesn't stay properly open all the time, the slightest bump will make it fold back a bit. The newer model seems to have individual hoods per seat.

Excellent double pram
Wonderful to maneuver (even with the upgrade of pneumatic tyres)
I don't find its too wide to go anywhere. And the seats are very roomy; I have my 3yo and 9month old still in it and have been using it for 9 months now! It's perfect.
It goes on rough terrain quite well too! I mainly use it when I need to do a bit of shopping and don't want to be chasing my three year old everywhere. It's also great when I want to do long walks (even pushing up hill I don't even find it heavy) I've had other doubles and tandems and this is better by far!!

Light weight, huge basket underneath, and safe and study
Extremely easy to maneuver, and light weight. I find it is easy to tilt back and climb onto the kerb with 2 children inside, total weight around 30kg between the 2 kids. Plus carrying my handbag and lots of groceries!
It is small enough to go through all doors and shopping aisles, great for a walk or run in the park.
extremely easy to clean, and the hood is big enough that I don't need a rain cover. The material dries quickly after rain, and the seat folds neatly inside so it stays clean for longer.
I have taken this duo through the busy streets of busy Sydney CBD, and used it on trains and buses. It is really easy to get on and off, and it folds into a very small unit with no detachable parts which takes 3 seconds to fold and unfold.

It's Amazing!
It's so easy to maneuver, it's simple to fold and very light to pick up! I've never been more happy with a pram! Valco have always been amazing with the make of their prams and I am so happy I found this one! I would highly recommend this pram to anybody looking for a double pram!

love our snap duo black beauty!
We love the ease of the snap duo, its so light to push and it turns like a dream.
The extended sun hoods are awesome as we live in qld. We've had it over a year now and are contemplating the sports wheels as our boys are almost 2 and getting heavier.
The fold is my favorite pro with this pram, simple single action fold and unfold

great pram until it fell apart
i absolutely loved this pram for my two toddlers, LOVED being the keyword - I thought id found the perfect pram and bragged and bragged to my friends. I couldn't fault the pram until the middle structure not only ripped but actually snapped also making the pram unable to have the child bar across the front ( making those winter booties now also a waste of money) I can only imagine this damage is from folding as there is nothing i can put it down to. the foam handle had already worn away and the carry handle snapped however i was happy to live w...Read more
ith this until the middle structure snapped... very upset as now i will have to buy YET ANOTHER pram as it is not only not structurally safe but it has a piece of metal sticking out. by the looks it is unfixable which is such a shame $$$$$ pram shopping again :( i would LOVE another one as it was amazing before it broke, but i am not willing to spend that much again on a pram as i have spent thousands all up with having two children close together and thought i wouldn't need to buy another pram with the toddlers now being two and three i though this would last the distance, YCN on the other hand were a great company to buy from.. even letting me take the pram to test in my boot etc and very competitive price. - they got me excited about all the extras (which i now can't use and were also a waste of money, however it isn't their fault)4 comments

Love this pram
This pram fits through all doorways I've tried, is super easy to fold and light enough that I can lift it up into our high 4wd.
I love the storage underneath and most of all the price is excellent compared to other side by sides on the market.
Only thing I don't like is sometimes there are gaps around the hood connecting to the seats and this lets in sun at times on my kids faces.

One of the best double prams
I'm surprised about the bad reviews, I think it's a great double. Probably comes down to the features that you're looking for and the price you pay. I bought mine second hand at a good price and have been very happy with it so far (I've had it for nearly 6 mths). I've got the older model with one single large hood rather than 2 separate hoods. I started using this pram when youngest was 4mths old
Pros:
Very light and easy to fold. The flip side of having a light pram is that the frame can feel a little flimsy. Haven't had any problems with ...Read more

Don't purchase the SPORTS PACK!!!
I purchased the snap duo sports pack prior to traveling to the UK and it was the worst purchase ever. I am so upset. The wheels don't turn properly, it is difficult to push, and I wish I had left the originals on. I will be returning the sports pack on my return for a refund. Valco said only single wheels on front of pram??? So wrong, never had a problem with the originals! Never had an issue with my snap 3 either, that too has the sports pack, also the handle foam has split on the inside. I am trying to purchase another pushchair in the UK bec...Read more
ause its just causing a problem. I really could do without the hassle! The pram is only 3-4 months old. Gutted, absolutely gutted!!!! I did not travel half way round the world to be hunting down a double stroller, not to mention the expense and inconvenience.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Absolute mistake
I totally agree with Dan from Sydney. He is spot on with this pram. As well as what he mentioned the front wheels have broken off!! .Not through any abuse, the pram was 6 weeks old and used about 6 times. That was the first wheel, the second one broke last week. The pram is less than 12 months old. The company we purchased it from have been less than helpful. I would never buy another Valco product and will not recommend this pram at all.

Is there an accessory option basket that can be used instead of the second seat? The bugaboo has this option and just wondering if the valco snap duo had this also?

Hello,
I am interested in the valco baby snap duo trend pram. Can 2 of the trend bassinets fit onto the pram?
Also can 2 car seat capsules attach to the pram?
Thanks

Valiant B.Valco Baby
Hi Sophie,
Thanks for your question.
Just a quick pointer, you're asking about our Trend Duo, where as the product you've asked the question under is the "Snap Duo."
Not to worry, the Trend Duo is compatible to take two bassinets, as well as two car seat capsules :)
You'll need to purchase adapters:
One of the Travel System Adapters will need to be for a Maxi Cosi Capsule (A9905).
The other will be a Universal Travel System Adapter (A9942).
If you'd like further assistance, one of our agents will be happy to walk you through it. Please email us at: [email protected]
Thanks!
