Great value. No regrets.
We bought this pram 19 months ago for our twins. Part of our decision was based on the good reviews we read about it and the after-sales-service. Definitely agree. This pram is light and easy to put up and down. We still use it on a daily basis and have even done a bit of running with it (on bitumen). The only flaw with it is the hood sometimes flies back. Around a month ago the brake got stuck in the lock position. Even though it was out of warranty, when we contacted Valco, they quickly posted a replacement part to us free of charge.

Great value and functional pram
We were nervous initially when we sold our Bugaboo Donkey to get this pram instead. The donkey had lots of features that we liked (and some we didn't) and I was worried about getting a cheaper pram. So far, we've not been disappointed.
I thought I would find the tyres a bit difficult (going from air to foam) but so far the Valco has been able to do everything the Donkey could - no problem! I actually find it easier to push up hills as it is lighter so I don't swerve to the side at all. It is SO easy to put up and down and very lightweight. ...Read more
I also like that it can stand up when folded - makes it much easier to store. The seats are really comfortable (although I'm not a fan of the fabric so I use pram liners - apparently Valco is releasing a different range of fabrics soon which look great). Both my toddler and 6 mo are really comfortable. My baby seems to feel a lot more comfortable in there than she ever did in the Bugaboo - she falls asleep straight away! It is very cosy with the extended canopy. Other great features - lots of storage (underneath and in the back of the seats) and great air ventilation in the back of the seats and the peep hole at the top. A plus would be magnetic closure for these rather than velcro so its a bit quieter. Also like that you can have the footrest up or down. We were choosing between this and the Mountain Buggy Duet and comparing them side by side this was a lot more spacious. You also have the option to replace with air tyres which we may do in the future but we're managing well with these so far. My only criticisms (and why I haven't given it a 5) is - fabric style (it's a bit shiny and only comes in black) and the velcro fastenings. Otherwise this pram is proving to be a huge success.

Fantastic.
We've had the pram about 6 months now, Great pram! Super light, easy fold, huge basket, great hoods. Easy recline. Only thing I would change on it is an adjustable height handle and adjustable footrest! Other then that, can't fault it! I love the height of the seats, comfortable for my 4yr old, and the hood is high enough for her too when other prams have been too short they obstruct her view.

I regret buying the Snap duo! I should have got the mountain buggy. I'm very surprised with the good ratings this pram is getting! I've had it now for 2 years, my husband and I both hate it compared to our single mountain buggy! The sun cover doesn't stay down, it flips back. The wheels don't go over those very small bumps when you cross the roads onto the foot paths! The seat belt it the WORST! It's like a jig saw puzzle every time you need to do it up! Not good when your child is having a tantrum and you need to do this seat belt puzzle! I ca...Read more
n't believe people say it fits through regular doors! I have to push and scrape this pram through regular doors, taking of paint on the way through them! The kids have to sleep with there legs hanging down, most prams have feet areas that can be clicked up for sleeping! And my big long handle is already broken, we had to tape it up with strapping now! And now the breaks don't work properly! Absolute rubbish! Waste of money!1 comment

Average
Sun hoods are small. The wheels are average. I wish I bought the city mini based on sun coverage and wheel quality. Otherwise it's ok.

Awesome double pram!!
We purchased the snap duo after the birth of our second child based on the fact we love our snap 4. We haven't been disappointed with the duo at all either. It's a great pram! Both kids are happy because they have a clear view of what's going on around them. It's lightweight for a double pram, easy to push/maneuver, large basket underneath and nice big hood. Fits through standard doorways (just). I go for 90min walks pushing this and it's no problem at all. It folds pretty flat and fits inches boot easily with room to spare for other things, w...Read more
e even put the snap 4 in with it and its fine (In a Hyundai Sonata). The only thing that could have improved it is if they had done individual hoods but it's generally not a problem anyway and the handle isn't extendable. lightweight, hood, basket, easy to push, low cost compared to majority of other double prams a shared hood instead of individual hoods, handle doesn't extendSimilar opinion? Love this pram
My two children are 18 months apart and everyone recommended the strider plus with 2nd seat however I found it so heavy to push especially with a cesarean wound plus it took up the entire boot of the car and I couldn't fit anything else in. After much research I bought the valco snap duo and absolutely love it. It's so light and easy to steer, my now 2.5yr old is not cramped at all and still comfortably naps in the pram. I have no problem fitting on escalors or through checkouts etc and also fits through regular sized doors at home or the docto...Read more
rs office etc. I have had this pram for about 8 months and haven't seen any signs of wear and tear yet. We use it to go the park or shopping at least 4 times a week and it folds up nice and compact that I can leave it in the car boot or in a wardrobe inside so it's out of the way. The basket underneath is huge but has a shallow entry and is a bit difficult to get bulky bags in and out but I haven't found this to be a major issue. I have attempted jogging with this pram and it's not great but fantastic for brisk walking and no issues on grass or rough surfaces. My only complaint is that no accessories are included. I had to buy the rain cover separately which I would like to see included. I bought cotton liners too as the seats are padded but still prefer liners I can remove and wash. Light but still sturdy and easy to steer on any surface No accessories included.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Life Saver!!
Had 2 babies in one year and in in that year I had a strider plus with second seat. It was excellent for when my babies were little but now they are both a year old and both in the 99th percentiles I needed a lighter stroller. I love this stroller. I've used it for several weeks now and I love the freedom it has given back to my life. Getting out and about has become hassle free. It's easy to operate and the children are at equal levels. I can use one hand to steer this double stroller even tough my children are different weights. It is really well balanced. So much easier on my back and the kids love being in it. Negatives? None so far!
Easy to operate - one action getting it up and down - can steer one handed.

Pretty great
I've used a bugaboo donkey for almost 2 1/2 years, and the time had come to purchase a stroller, as I wanted something lighter with deeper seats for my growing twins. Upon advice, I bought a Maclaren twin techno, which did not work for me, given my height, and the third back wheel, which I kept tripping over. After further research I ordered the Valco snap duo, going purely off online reviews. I'm so glad I did. I received it this morning, and took it for a spin around our local park this afternoon. Initially I was worried that it could not han...Read more
dle two 16kg, 1m tall, children, given its so lightweight (less than 10kg in weight I believe). But it was perfect. Handled hills and grass quite well. Obviously it's not in the class of a bugaboo, which handles all terrain beautifully, and which feels sturdier, but for a stroller, I am extremely impressed and just wish I had known about it sooner. Would have saved me much angst with the Maclaren. I like the one canopy, it looks great when open. Despite the height of my children, the canopy did not catch their heads. They can lean back quite comfortably. Looks like itll be a breeze to clean. The brake is easy to engage (though I would have prefered it to the side), and opening and closing it is very easy - beats having to pull apart several pieces when placing in the car! Huge underneath basket, and two convenient carry pouches behind each seat -great because my twins won't be able to turn around and take my phone or wallet like they have previously. Front swivel wheels make it easy to turn. Corners well. My only fault with it is the inability to extend the handlebar. I'm six feet tall, and could have done with even an extra inch in handlebar height. Being able to extend the handlebar would have made it just perfect. And whilst I can walk comfortably with this stroller, I do touch the back bar ever so slightly when walking - a longer handlebar would have pushed the pram out infront just that little bit extra. Overall though, I'm glad I bought it. And will actually get lots of use from it. My daughter refused to get out of it for a couple of hours when I brought it home! The deeper seats make it seem really comfy. Purchased for $399.00.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Life saver!
I spent ages pouring over info on twin prams before the arrival of my second child ( my girls are 2 years apart). Everyone I know has City Select or Phil & Teds but I found them far too heavy & large for me to lift. And very expensive. I paid only $350 for the Snap Duo. At first I was put off by the extra width but this pram fits through a standard door way. I only have trouble in particularly crowded shops. This pram is inexpensive, looks good, extremely functional & light weight.
My children love it & sleep well in it. I love the venting ...Read more
that keeps them cool when I roll the pockets up. I have a Mitsubishi Lancer with a small boot & it fits well. I can open & fold it with one hand & it is so light & easy for a shorty like me to lift. I've had it for 6 months & it handles so well & still looks new because it's so easy to clean. The only things that bug me are; The buckle on the strap is "fiddly" especially with a wiggling child. The padding slides off the shoulder straps which is very annoying. I'd prefer independent sun canopies but this is minor.1 comment

Best double!
I'm in love! When baby 2 came I Initially was going to go with a limo pram but wanted my 2.5 yr n newborn to have equal views etc so looked into side by sides. After going through numerous reviews and trials in shops ( of both limo n side by side styles) I fell in love with the snap duo. It was everything I was looking for! So light, easy to fold, big basket, steers like a dream, kids sit in there comfortably, big hood, seats recline right back for bub. As a side by side it is wider then the norm however it doesn't worry me and I've never come ...Read more
across a door I couldn't fit through. Love that my toddler can hop in and out at he leisure = less cranky. I also considered the BJ city mini double (as I had the mini single) but it was heavier and way too expensive! Got this one for $350 - bargain! Only two downsides I will point out that there is only one hood for the two kids so might expects some fights over it when #2 is older.. and it's a bit flimsy as others have said, I need to be a bit rough with it to lock it open. The other is the size folded, though it's light n so easy to fold n it folds relatively flat it does only just fit in my boot of my ford focus hatch (thankfully) so others with smaller boots may have trouble. I also bought a caddy/organiser for it as I felt the pockets were a little useless but some people may not mind them. Overall very happy with this purchase!! Inexpensive, light, easy to fold, big basket ! Single flimsy hood, big for bootSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Value for money!
This was the 5th double pram that I owned, and by far the best. I bought it because I was travelling and needed something lightweight that could fully recline so the kids could sleep in it. I have absolutely loved it every day, and I use it constantly. Really easy to steer and to fold, lightweight, the rain cover for it is awesome too. The basket underneath is a great size, although it can be a bit difficult to get in to if the seats are reclined (I think that is an issue with any pram though). I'm happy with the size of the hood, and I have a ...Read more
sun cover (a different brand) that I use if the sun is low and in the kids' eyes. I think I would like to buy the specific sun cover/shade for this pram, but it wasn't available when I bought the pram. I also bought the Vogue Booties, which stopped the kids' blankets falling on the ground in winter, and make the seat bit longer when they are sleeping. There are 4 pockets - 2 skinnier ones and 2 wider ones. The wider ones are great, but the skinnier ones are a bit too narrow. One other small issue is that if there is a breeze, the hood pops back. It can be a bit annoying, so if it is really windy, I use either the sun or rain cover to hold the hood down. It's not ideal, but I know someone else who has the same pram, and she had hers fixed so that the hood didn't pop back. I think the retail value is about $400 for this pram, which is pretty economical considering the price of other prams. Recently, the brake broke - it got locked on and wouldn't retract back. I called Valco and their service department were absolutely fabulous. They posted me a whole new brake and it arrived the next day. I could not speak more highly of them. With 1 year old twins, it takes a big effort to get to the shops, and to not have a pram for a couple of days would have been a disaster. I'm really grateful for their understanding of my situation. Overall, LOVE the pram. Would recommend it to anyone and would buy it again in an instant. It fits through every doorway we've ever tried, lightweight, easy to steer, clean, fold, great for travelling. Valco Service Department are excellent and helpful. Hood doesn't always stay down/out, some of the pockets are too small, more variety in colours of the vogue hoods would be great.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great
I purchased the snap duo for my 8 months old and I'm pregnant due December so bubs will be 11 months apart. I haven't tried he pram with 2 bubs yet but I love it! It's easier to steer than my current single pram and lighter too! It folds easy and looks nice, I love the safety belt clasp and I also bought the attachments for a baby capsule and a rain cover so all is great! I am really really happy!

Hood could be a bit bigger to protect from Aus sun

Best double pram on the market
I bought this for my newborn and 2 year old. It's the BEST pram I've ever had. It's lightweight, easy to fold even if using one hand, folds flat, easy to maneuver, has wide seats so can accommodate both children for as long as they need it, fits through standard doors, seats recline independently, and the price is fantastic.

An excellent all-round double stroller
We were looking to upgrade from a Combi after our second child and were looking for something as light and convenient as a Combi. We ruled out the tandems as they are either too heavy or not spacious or practical enough. Although we liked the baby jogger city select it seemed a bit too wide and pricey. The Valco snap duo ticked all the boxes for us, light, easy to use, practical and good price.
Only one drawback (for some) is that it has only the one canopy between the 2 kids.
Light, easy to use, not much storage required, practical and good price
It has only the one canopy

Light, compact and easy to steer
I bought the Snap Duo after initially using a tandem for my 2.5yo and infant. It was so heavy I could hardly get up hills. Also my older son is very tall for his age so I needed to buy a pram with enough headroom for him.
The Snap Duo is super light and easy to steer, I don't find it too wide either. Great access to a large storage basket too.
I researched many side by side peaks before I bought this one, and it has all the features of say a Baby jogger city mini double, at half the price.
I also bought the Vogue Infant Bootie to go with th...Read more

Excellent
This pram is excellent . My kids love sitting next to each other . It is very light and easy to use and fold . Smooth ride and the big hood is great . Highly reccommend . I had the strider plus with toddler seat and found it hard to use and very heavy and bulky hard to use and put together .
Light, easy to move and fold, kids love it!
If you are short the handle is quite high and can't be adjusted .

Good to have one
I bought this pram so I can move around with my toddler and newborn, It is the lghtest twin pram we could find even my partner likes it (that doesnt happen very often), it is so easy to handle and walk around with it. The onle problem I have found is that it is wide, if you dont use the car, train is the onle option, even in old train I get stuck. It is very hard to get in.If you are goind to use it with public transport, foget it.
It is the lightes twin pram, easy to move around
Too wide, not suitable to use with public transport

Hi Sophie,
Thanks for your question.
Just a quick pointer, you're asking about our Trend Duo, where as the product you've asked the question under is the "Snap Duo."
Not to worry, the Trend Duo is compatible to take two bassinets, as well as two car seat capsules :)
You'll need to purchase adapters:
One of the Travel System Adapters will need to be for a Maxi Cosi Capsule (A9905).
The other will be a Universal Travel System Adapter (A9942).
If you'd like further assistance, one of our agents will be happy to walk you through it. Please email us at: [email protected]
