This is the perfect car pram - but not an everyday pram
I bought this pram in 2012 specifically as a car pram - something cheap because I was not using it all the time ($250), light (under 6kg), huge hood and more features than a stroller. It is easy to unfold and fold, light to drive, the hood is fantastic and huge and the basket is adequate, and baby has slept in it many many times but...
This is not an every day pram. Being so light, it can be a bit unstable over uneven terrain, and I have to remind myself that it is not a jogging pram, and any lightweight pram or stroller will struggle on u...Read more
neven terrain. The basket is very hard to get into if the seat is down, but then you have a storage pocket on back when the seat is reclined, so acceptable. Ultimately this pram does exactly what I want it to, but like every pram, I would always test drive and think hard about how you use your pram. What your paths are like, will you have to put it in and out of the car etc BTW - my everyday pram is a baby jogger city elite - perfect for my footpath-less neighbourhood, but hopeless if you had to put it in and out of the car everyday. My other, other pram is a baby jogger performance - perfect for running, but no good for supermarkets! My other, other, other pram was the safety 1st travel system - which was perfect for the first 9 months - which is all I wanted it for. The perfect everything pram does not exist...in my humble opinion - but good luck trying.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

loving the snap
We bought the valco snap pram almost 9months ago and use it every day.
We were looking for something that was affordable and easy to walk with regardless of being out and about or just shopping. We also wanted something that would fold and fit easily in the boot of the car. Finally we wanted something that would last bub through the entire period which he will be in the pram. So far no complaints on the above - the snap kept its promise.
We started out purchasing the valco baby booty so baby would be nice and snug and we could get him used t...Read more

Happy
Before buying a pram for my boy I had done my research. I was looking for light weight one with proper sun hood and comfy for the little one. I found valco snap and it was really good price too. I'm using it now for two months and I'm very happy with it. Easy to steer, extremely light, easy to fold. Has a handy pockets at the back for your wallet, phone and water. Basket underneath is decent size which is quite difficult to access when sit is in lying position. It steers good and my only concern is that when I'm strolling in the shop on a perf...Read more
ectly flat surface the pram vibrates. I think it's one of the wheels and I'm going to contact valco about it. All in all of you're looking for light, handy and cheap pram this is the one :) Light, compact, big sun hood and pockets, easy to steer Basket difficult to access, vibrating when riding on flat surface2 comments
Just wanted to add that the break gone broken few days ago. If you're looking for pram to use for more than one year don't buy this one!

Best pram ive had for toddler
I bought this to use when my son was 1y.o. Excellent to push, steer and turn one handed. Extremely lightweight, easy one handed fold, I can hold baby while folding and put straight in boot. Very compact flat fold. Love the sun canopy its huge, a bug mesh zip in attachment would have been good, however the vogue red hood does not protect from uv. My babies face got sunburnt 3 times until I realised why. Safety harness impossible for bub to escape, a little tight though, it needs more strap extension.
Can open back to vent air. Storage pock...Read more
ets are hanfy, big basket. I can do a big shop and fit alot in. Elastic sides on the basket would be good so it can be accessed when reclined. Easy one hand recline and sit up. Big flaw is its quite easily tipped if on uneven surface or pulled too swiftly, but I think the 3 wheel contributes to this, As the title says, great for a toddler but too tippy for a light infant. Light, one hand fold, high handle, big seat, big hood, steering Tips easily sideways and backwards, vogue red hood doesn't protect from sun, straps too short,Similar opinion? Great stroller
I love this stroller! I was on the hunt for a stroller that would be small enough and easy to use around the shops; fit into my boot without taking up all the space; have big enough wheels to go over bumps smoothly; large basket, that was easy to access; a large sunhood, and was lightweight. And I found it! I love this stroller, I was using a steelcraft 4 wheel stroller and there were so many things that were annoying with it, the snap is more expensive then a normal stroller, but so much more practical and functional! I wish I had just bought ...Read more
this instead of my phil and teds and the steelcraft stroller. I do find the buckle fiddly to do up, but I will get use to it. I love this stroller! Large sunhood, light wright, compact fold, fits great in boot, large wheels, easy to hold, Nearly too light, you have to becareful hanging things on the handle bar, handle bar doesn't adjustSimilar opinion? Disappointing
Last year just before bubs was born, hubby and I were doing much shopping around an listening to advice from other parents to find the elusive perfect pram/stroller.
We decided on the snap as it met many of our criteria, Light, folds quite small, big enough wheels for walking on or off paths, great big massive sun shade for the Darwin weather and also the option to open the back when fully reclined for airflow. Also it had a great price point!
Whilst in theory this is a great stroller and suitable for newborns as well! even though it looks pr...Read more

Hi I have this pram myself and I thankfully never had those issues but my brake cable has practically snapped so I will be buying a new pram of a different brand as I've read this has now happened to 2 other people... :(

My 14mo baby keeps tipping / rocking forward in the valco snap. He thinks its a fun game because the back of the seat doesnt seem to be secured and he is able to lean quite far forward, bringing the entire seat with him. Does anyone else have this problem or have i got a probelm with the set up?
2 answers
I didn't have this problem but I did see a tip once for strollers that tip to put leg weights you know the valcro ones people strap around their legs.
And put these around the just above the wheels.
