Does anyone know if i can change the deck to a smaller pressed metal version on this model?
Can anyone let me know the full specs for the spx 2548. I am looking to purchase as now a run out model and found great price but I can't get the full specs. It maybe too big for my needs and my small shed. I have 1.5acre block and hilly in sections and lots of trees any help would be greatly appreciated. ROB from Ballarat sent 8 May 2022

Read morenit . 1.5 acres is a small mow for them .i mow about 2.5 acres in a flash. trees no problem as they turn in about 400 mm with great steering. The fabricated deck is strong and to date i`ve had no damage by the odd tree root. i would say its the best machine i`ve ever owned 4years . the deck cuts dead flat not like the rest of the mowers i`ve had . Still running on the original cutter belt, blades and bearings.amazing . Like all mowers just dont hose them down use a air blower . Have fun they they drive and stop on a dime cheersThanks Jaktar ... what width would it be with deflector up. Shed door when opened is only 1560 wide. I have about 2500mm deep to play with re front to back in the shed so that will fit ok. I couldn...
Read more't see the full specs for this model on Victa site only the newer models eg SPX 2348 2342 etc. I am doing a comparison to other brands eg engine type, transmission type, front axle, bearings used in wheels etc etc I just found a spec for a US model "2019 Snapper SPX Series 25/48 (2691453)" maybe very much the same as this Aust model but does say it has been redesigned. Maybe an overkill for 1.5acres but can't find a bad review about it a bit keen to go ahead.
