Not with grapefruit juice as it is acidic. Am not certain about pineapple juice. Apple juice is recommended as per information on packaging.

I have been using vital greens for about 2 years and think its great im a bit of a sweet tooth so like the sweetness, it says it goes well with the vital protein, so i mix the two together, do you agree with that and how many times a day is twice to much? thanks roxanne...
Hi Roxanne,
Thanks so much for your recent enquiry and we appreciate you taking the time to write to us. ...
Read more There is no reason why you cant mix the 2 together, they are a very complimentary product. Please note that Vital Greens does already have protein in the formula, however if you are looking for additional protein for muscle recovery or energy - there is no issue with adding Vital protein to Vital Greens. When you are doubling your dose, we recommend starting at a lower dose, and then increasing over time. So Week 1 start with 1 teaspoon for the full week, then week 2, put in 2 teaspoons. Week 3, Drink 1, put in 2 teaspoons, and drink 2, 1 teaspoon, then week 4, drink 1 put in 2 teaspoons and drink 2 put in 2 teaspoons. Does that make sense? This will give your body time to adjust and get used to all the different ingredients. I hope this answers your questions, however if you still require additional information please feel free to email me at: [email protected]. Really? When did they reduce the sweetener? My problem is that the new batches are all much much sweeter. Sickly sweet in fact.
The sweetner was increased but the company said in one of the posts dated December 2014 that they have now reduced it. So my question is how do I know what batch one is buying?
