Hi my dad has just finished his chemotherapy and radiation for lung cancer. I was wanting to use this to help build his immune system. My father is currently taking blood thinners (iscover & betaloc) will vital greens be good for him? Would this be okay being on blood thinners.
Thanks in advance

Hey Tina, I'm not sure about that. I think the best thing to do would be to go into a Heath food store that sells vital greens and ask them as they would know. Or even better try contact the makers of the product.
All the best with your dad

Not with grapefruit juice as it is acidic. Am not certain about pineapple juice. Apple juice is recommended as per information on packaging.

How does this compare to Elle Mcphersons? "The Super Elixer". Ive been buying the Elixer and it is way to expensive….
This seems like it would be a better alternative.

Thanks

Hi Ruth,

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure. I would say it would be good though considering the amount of good stuff it's got in it :)

Hi,
I'm not sure as I only started taking it recently. The ones I've bought taste the same, although I have read other reviews that the taste and sweetness has changed. Sorry, probably didn't help you much.

Hi :-) I've been doing some research and looking at getting some vital greens into my regime. I'm a vegan and was taking some vegan multivitamins but that started some bad IBS :-/ is vital greens a complete myltivitamin? Also, has anyone experienced a flare up in IBS after taking? I don't want to but a tub and then it go to waste because it's started ibs again. Many thanks, Simon

I think you'll be ok without taking any other multivitamins if you take Vital Greens. I have very sensitive tummy (I haven't been diagnosed with IBS but I suspect I might have a mild case of it) and I haven't had any problems with it so far.

Hi there we have just bought Vital greens for the first time and after reading the comments above am wondering if the one we have bought is based on the sweeter formula or if it in fact is the new adjusted less sweet formula. The batch number is 419914 with expiry date of 09/12/2016. Look forward to your reply in due course.
Kind regards Jodie

Now that the sweetener has been reduced how do I know which batch I am buying?

Really? When did they reduce the sweetener? My problem is that the new batches are all much much sweeter. Sickly sweet in fact.

The sweetner was increased but the company said in one of the posts dated December 2014 that they have now reduced it. So my question is how do I know what batch one is buying?
