I was planning on getting the mass gainer, could you guys tell me what's the best flavor? I normally go for the wild berry but I wanted to try something else this time. Any clue about the caramel and chocolate?
2 answers
I've tried the chocolate in the WPC and caramel in the WPI both taste great.... The WPC mixes nicely to make protein sludge as well, with stacks you can get a variety of different flavors.
I've tried nearly all the flavors and my favorite was the banana.

Anyone tried the pre-work out shakes, suggestions, comments?
1 answer
They're good mate - I alternate the guarana and the caffeine one weekly. Get the tingles like the other known brands - helps get through workouts without fatigue (lazy feeling) and with greater focus. Caffeine raspberry is nice, guarana is bland but not worried about taste - once it's down, it's down.

Hey! Just wondering what people are mixing the tribulus powder with? I have tried to mix it with everything and it is putrid! Now I mix it with about 50ml of water and shot it so it's over and done with!
Any suggestions?

Hi. I only received it yesterday and haven't started using it yet. I suspected it wasn't going to taste nice so was thinking of doing exactly what you are and shotting it! If I come up with another way I will let you know

How long do you think you should wait for the sales staff to respond to an email regarding an order not delivered? 10 business days too long?

Did anyone find the strong fat taste repulsive? i had two shakes and threw up immediately after drinking it because of the fat taste in my mouth. i can't stomach it :/

Hi Julia, I didnt have that problem. I have only had the "Natural" flavour and i blend blueberries in it, so I cant say that I had a "Fat taste"
Can't say I've experienced the "fat taste" either Julia. I go chocolate and blend a banana into it. Yum.
Hi Julia I also got sick once from their WPC Vanilla flavour.....not sure if it was the"fat taste" or bad taste. No other protein has made me sick before, that is why I won't buy venom items again..

Hello my name is Nathan I recently bought 13kg off this site and received a letter stateing that there was no cookies and cream and that if I sent the following back I would receive them when new stock arrives. In the 13kg I purchase 2kg of that was the rocky road flavour and couldn't be less impressed it was terrible I couldn't even give it away to any of my friends. So I was hopping to send the other unopened one back instead. Also I've tried one of the shakers that came with it and it leaks out of the lid when closed properly.

Is venom mass gainer ok to have when you are 15?
1 answer
You will enjoy much more consistent results eating more food, e.g. steak, rice, chicken, etc. Mass gainers are simply whey protein with added maltodextrin/dextrose, which act similarly to sugar. If weight gain is your only goal, go for gold, but for lean mass gain, eat up!
NOTE: I was on mass gainers for 3+ years. Great for gaining weight, but it's really hard to lean out depending on your body type.

What's the most popular protein whey flavor?
Don Finlayasked
Originally 117.5 Kg and aiming for 90 kg, I've been told that a blend of WPI & WPC is the best for fat loss. After doing that for about 6 weeks, combined with exercise & diet, I've dropped 12 Kg,..no complaints there, now 105.5 kg & still have a long way to go
Is it time to go for a WPI or should I stay on what's been working so far ?

Is venom protein powder good for women to use?
2 answers
Hi Kate,
Yes absolutely, venom protein caters for both male and female.
Hope this helps you.
Kate, you pose an excellent question. I know this post was done in Aug 2013. But I was doing window shopping yesterday (22 Dec 2013) and inevitably went to browse the health food store. I saw protein powders being branded/marketed at males or females. The salesperson at the shop was explaining at some length and quite loudly to a customer as to why Brand X was better for females than Brand Y - I could not help but overhear the explanation that quite honestly, better belonged to the realm of science fiction. The salesperson's enthusiasm could not be faulted though. Now, both brands contain the same thing - whey protein powder. The only difference? The branding and label claims, and the price. Note, a gender-biased distinction for whey protein is arbitrary (and it only confers a marketing advantage), because the whey comes from the same cow, and the milk being produced would be good for male or female calves. We can safely apply this to homo sapiens too. At the heart of the matter, protein is protein, especially if you consider dairy or animal sources. Any functional difference beyond the protein content itself may come from protein powders derived from plants, in particular those that have potential to contain other substances (e.g. soy-based protein powders may be a significant source of phytoestrogens depending on how the soy protein is extracted). Furthermore, I have seen some protein powders being fortified with other non-protein substances (e.g. multi-vitamins/minerals). Typically, those fortified with iron are touted at females. But again, this is more about marketing (if you want to be cynical and you should be - it's your hard earned money), but also, if you can't be bothered to get your vitamin/mineral requirements elsewhere and want a combined product, then a fortified whey product may be convenient. I find that it is cheaper to buy my products separately and this also gives me extra control as to how much of each (e.g. whey, iron etc) I would be consuming. The short answer is - protein is protein, and in this vein, Venom's whey protein products are fine for women (and men).

Hi I am looking at purchasing from venom but I was wondering what was the consistency of the drink? I have just had bad experiences with some that are very watery.
2 answers
It's not very thick Louie. It does blend well though. I mix mine with 50/50 milk and water. Very few lumps. Just be careful with dealing with Venom if something goes wrong. I won't buy from them again after my dramas. Hope you have better luck.
Thanks for the advice Mark! I might try the sample pack first and see how I go.

can having to much protein affect your kidneys

Mark, thanks for your enquiry.
I am not a doctor or dietician,I suggest you ask one of them!
if there is anything else i can help you with let me know.
Only if there is an existing medical condition or hereditry disease.
The amount of protein you would have to consume to CAUSE a disorder is huge. Almost beyond possible.
