At first I was so nervous to use this product as my hair is long and thought it may get tangled which to my suprise it didn't. I loved that once i got used to using the curl secret it was really simple and easy. However because my hair is so long I found that my hair would only effectively curl at the 220 degree setting and even then the ends were not overly curled. I had to run it back through some of the ends. I would definitely recommend the curl secret but more so to friends that have short hair.

I love this product. I have extremely thick hair and usually resort to straightening it but the VS Sassoon Curl Secret Optimum has given me excitement about upcoming events as it is so easy to use and didnt take too long with thick hair. I had used a friends earlier model and thought it was great but this one with temperature control and different curl types is amazing! With thick hair I need higher temps on my straightener so this feature is impressive. So easy to get salon styled hair from home and no technical experience or prior curling experience required. totally in love with the product!

It doesnt work. The curls are not the same, there is a vast difference in each one. Frizz is not controlled. If I had of purchased this I would have returned it ASAP. Honestly Id be better off sleeping in hair rollers for a better finish. A child could have curled my hair better. The packaging was the best part and it was terrible. It looks like something from the 1990s. I have nothing positive to say about this product. The operating buttons are placed in the exact spot you need to hold the product which is ridiculous. The product is a waste of time, money and space.

the VS Sassoon curl secret Optimum curler is amazing! It is so easy to use, with clear instructions on the box and does the curls completes quickly and neat. It was perfect to curl my medium length hair as well as curl my daughters long thick hair. I was able to curl our hair in half the time compared to using another method.

At first the machine looked intimidating, however once i read the instructions and watched the how to video i was confident enough to use it. After playing around with the settings, i found my combination to perfect curls. I managed to get the same (if not even better) results than i normally would and spent less time than usual. What's even better, no accidentally scalp burning. Woohoo.

I have only used it once so far and I loved the outcome. was so simple and easy to use

turning on the machine it does make a crackling noise which I would assume is normal as it didnt effect the usage.

I tried the medium heat setting but will try them all shortly.

I found when my hair got stuck it wasnt as easy as they made it seem to get out but I managed to get my hair out. it only happened about 3 times on my whole head.

I would love for both side to be able to be used towards the head so its easier to handle and I can pick what way I wanted the curls to sit.

Absolutely love that this curler does all the work for me, it leaves the stress out especially when your in a rush. perfect curls every time. Its also very versatile can be used on my short and fine hair which was great. The only thing I was unsure of was a funny buzzing sound it made when I turned it on, not sure if it was supposed to do that or not. otherwise its fantastic highly recommended for those who want curls and arent so hair saavy.

I really liked that the curler had pre settings and was also customisable. It would probably take a bit longer to curl all my hair but I won't get burnt. I honestly just think it's pretty cool that it sucks up your hair

I found it really quick and simple to use.
The first few times it took a little to get used to, especially how to hold it when trying to do my own hair.
I eventually managed to hold it right and got it to stop telling me off by beeping when the hair wasnt in right. Took me a few gos but now I have the hang of it its great! However was an absolute bliss doing it on someone elses hair first time round. Worked fantastic even on a wriggly kid! Soooo quick and no drama, or feeling of the heat. Hair was barely even warm after having left the chamber but looked awesome.

It was fun! Really quick and easy to get the hang of using. I was surprised at the quality of the curls. Light-weight and compact. Highly recommend this for people with long, straight hair - its a game changer!

As someone who is useless at hair tongs, this is a god-send! I have an iron hair curler but can never get the angles or the size of curls I want right. This Curl Secret Optimum is a dream come true, it does the work for you! i love how quickly it turns on / heats up and how it comes with a resting heat pad. It can be intimidating to use because of the whole sucking thing, so its worth watching the 6 min tutorial video on youtube. Its actually easy to use! Just need to follow the right directions. Love this hair curler!

This is amazing! I cant style my hair to save myself usually, and Ill now be curling it for a family wedding in a few weeks. Easy to use (just make sure you watch the how to video and read the instructions). Couldnt more satisfied with this, 10/10!!

I think this curler is great it does what it says i only struggled with doing the back of my hair it was tricky to see how much i was putting in i have thin hair so it didn't take a lot of time 5 beeps and it had done curling i really like that it didn't take to much time. i definitely would recommend it to others its a great way to curl your hair after having had my straightened for a long time i like that its easy to do something different.

great look and weight and easy to use settings. easy to use on one side but a lot more difficult on the other. didnt find it particularly frizz free. dont think it was time saving or easier than a regular curler. Was worried about my hair getting stuck but didnt seem to be a problem

I loved the ease and speed of this curler. My favourite thing is that you can change the direction of the curl which is perfect as I always struggle to know which direction I should hold other curlers. It's also great to alter the heat setting and so much easier to avoid burning your hands. Such a user-friendly tool to create perfect curls in 3 different styles.
