Slow Myer gift card delivery, no online customer servie
I purchased a Myer Christmas gift card online on 11th Dec 2020 for my 82-year-old mother in law as we live in the United States. We found out on Christmas Day that it never arrived. I called their customer service and they told me that it was only lodged with Australian Post on 22nd December, it was still in VIC on Christmas Day, then it would take another 5 working days to arrive in the metro area in QLD.
When my mother in law finally received her card, it was addressed to my name rather than hers as the online account was registered under my...
Place order online. Order not lodged but money is taken. 5 phone calls and over a week later myre response "we haven't got to it yet" this company are thieves. They never offered to raise an order ( considering they already have my money! ) they never called back when they said they would. I've called them 5 times already in over a week and have been told the refund will be processed in a 48hr period. Over a week later still waiting! This company is completely incompetent. I wonder how many consumers have been stolen from by this company?!
An overhaul of the Gift Card Policy is required
completely in dismay of the lack of service provided. While I won’t get into too much detail on the issue I will advise people out there DO NOT EVER give a gift card from Myer to anyone. Avoid at all costs! After being burgled in 2018 I honestly thought the gift card was stolen along with other things. To my surprise I found it the other day along with 3 other Coles gift cards all to the total value of $270! All cards were expired. Contacting Coles customer service was fabulous and hassle free. Coles were happy to activate my expired gift cards...after explaining my situation to them. On the other hand Myer has pathetically declined to offer any help and were happy to brush me off by referring me to their Ts and Cs basically too bad I’ve lost my $100...No wonder you are going down as a company you have absolutely no customer service whatsoever. I was more than willing to oblige and even send you a police report as proof but you are not even interested in that either. Shame Myer as I am one very regular customer who was regular but from today onwards will never be again. Well done on pushing me away. I see honestly just doesn’t help these days. Other companies are proof that they can do better than you.
Disappointing No Refund No Explanation
Placed an order in August for Father's Day. Goods were sent to an old address despite new address being 2 years on file. After several calls, finally received some items with another coming direct from supplier. Courier took it to old address, and to date am still waiting. Many frustrating calls to no avail, Myer won't give a refund saying they need to speak with supplier. Scenario is: 5 x Months on and $79 out of pocket. ON 1061223506 if they want to verify this complaint.
MYER Rubbish Men Perfume and Rip Off Customers
A few days ago I bought perfume from MYER Chermside and asked for the best quality and last longer smell then seller showed me one, I checked tester, it had a perfect smell, I purchased it $125 and then use it at home looks water inside with minimum essence, smell stayed on skin and clothes less than one hour then nothing. I returned it to the MYER and talked to the seller and manager (Michelle Adair) but they didn't accept to return it.
They rip off customers by rubbish product, never buy perfume from MYER.
Great customer service from Linda of hub
This is the second time I met Linda from myer parramatta.
First time she tied shoelaces for a disabled man. I never saw any retail store employee being so helpful that will do such a thing for a customer, it touched my heart.
Second when I returned my online items thinking it was calculated incorrectly she did not made a fuss instead she just went over and explained to me patiently.
Thanks her also for kindly checking online luggage for me.
It is such a pleasure having the nice, loving lady serving me.
Failure to provide the item, and then won’t provide me with the refund details!
In December 2020 I ordered a dress for. Christmas function online. I then was advised the dress was no longer available and that they would refund the amount back to the MYER rewards vouchers I had used.
I have sent several emails and am told to check my junk folder. If it’s not there apparently they can’t do anything and can’t send it again. So now I am unable to access approx $70 of rewards.
They say the supervisor will respond and that doesn’t happen.
What a scam, all I want is one email containing the voucher number and details to con...firm it took place and so that I can shop in MYER without holding up other customers. I will not shop here again, unless this is made right! I’d rather give David Jones my money and not be scammed for rewards dollars!

Beware of Myer online refunds policy
I must say at the beginning of this review, if I was giving a score on Myer online customer service, it would be 5/5.
Unfortunately I can't say the same for Myer online terms & conditions when it comes to a refund when an item is faulty. Which is why I have only given 1/5.
I purchased a Sunbeam steam butler which I had seen an assistant use in a ladies clothing shop. Looked absolutely marvelous & took creases out very easily. The one I had delivered from Myer online didn't perform nearly as well, so I contacted customer service who emailed a...
Absolutely disappointing! Selling the items they don't have in stock.
After placing the order there was no progress. I had to call the customer centre to sort it out. It turned out the item was out of stock. I can imagine this is the inventory system fault as this happened to me for the second time in the row. I don't really understand why I had to call to chase this up and why this isn't automatically cancelled. This is not going to happen for the third time though as I'm closing my online account just after I get the money back. If you are after reliable delivery times and no hassle look somewhere else.
3 purchases still no order
I ordered a set of 5 vases, one did not arrive, they said out of stock. So a few weeks later was on website again, so I purchased again. Same thing happened again. Very upset. After xmas I saw online again this time I called before I paid again. I was told they had 10 in stock. So I went and purchased again. I followed up and rang a few days later was told they were packing it . I was so finally happy to be getting the vase. Was not to be it was cancelled again. Three awful experiences.
I am a regular customer and spend quite a considerable amount of money each month. Very unhappy.
Not Snow White and Makeup on Neck
I ordered a snow white top on 7 Jan 2020. It arrived this morning. Very disappointed. The top has makeup on the neck and is OFF white.
Will be returning it tomorrow. A lesson learnt - don’t buy online.
The gentleman at Myer One was very polite but then again he doesn’t have to go to the trouble of returning it.

Online order no update and it was cancelled when followed up after a month saying out of stock.
If they cant manage and show inventory why are they running online business, their customer support took 30 mins just to check if they have stock or not for an order I placed 30 days ago.

Im a Myer customer for over 30 years and this January i order SI passionate 100ml gift set, they send me the 50ml gift set i call the online customer service and they organise return. The funny part is i send back the product and after they receive they send me an Email and say Sorry your order's been cancelled
We're sorry we were unable to complete your order.
Very disappointed this happen from myer nothing offered to me just refund im lucky I see the mills of the set.Never again from myer.
Today i had an Answer From Myer
On 26 of December prior to leaving the country, I ordered perfumes gift set on line. I was, at the time, also advertised as a viable in many stores across Perth.
It was a very good deal.
Meanwhile I have seen the same product for the same price on international airport, where I could of purchase it duty freE.
Upon my arrival, parcel was still not delivered. I then found out that my order was cancelled, however I have never received notification. No email was forwarded.
I called, and wanted to talk to manager, but I was refused.
I am so angry, because now I will have to pay so much more money to purchase just part of what I wanted, and leaves me out of pocket.
This is misleading and negligence, and practices of Myer must be investigated
Cheating / Misleading promotion ads
I bought Elizabeth Arden's product because they have a promotion on 'Spend $50 + on a product and spend another $99 to get a make up package worth $600+'. I bought a gel (worth $50), and paid another $99 for the packages. The gel arrives a few days after the order, but the $99 promotion package was cancelled two weeks later. There is no discussion, but just a email telling me they are refunding me $99. This is deceiving customers. I was buying Elizabeth Arden's product because the promotion, but after I open the product, they said they can't fulfill the order. By the way, at the time when I'm putting through the order, I can click and collect from Eastgarden Myer.
Different policies for poor people - I needed to call Victoria Police about email harassment from Myer after this post
Over many decades I have been given Myer voucher cards for my birthday/Christmas. This circumstance is exacerbated for someone like myself because my birthday falls on Christmas day so friends and family often run out of ideas.
Due to lifestyle arrangements and my frequent travel, I have never had an immediate need to use these vouchers. Going back some decades I have spoken with staff within Myer at have always been told that the vouchers cards could expire and that they would be updated with new vouchers within the store when I am ready to p...lace a purchase. I understand this was the the policy as communicated to consumers with throughout Australia over many decades. Recently I attended a Myer store in Northland (Victoria) to use two cards in possession. Both these cards were expired but as per many experiences over previous decades I was lead to believe they would be updated by customer service so I could complete the purchase. Upon talking to customer service I was shocked to hear they would not update the cards and they suggested I call the number on the card to discuss. Please note, I was told this number was for a different company to Myer and that they are the company that issue cards on behalf of Myer Some weeks after this experience, I decided to call Myer customer service given they are Myer gift cards and it was Myer that had previously given me assurances that I would be able to use the card in this situation ie when it has expired and I wish to make a purchase. When I spoke to Myer customer service I was told that they could help me and would provide new credit but first to provide my "Myer one" card number. I may have rung or selected an option for Myer one card holders as I don't know why the operator assumed I was a Myer one card holder.
Six Weeks and Waiting
Ordered online on 27 May with 7 day delivery. Follow up calls/emails have had Myer support blaming their supplier and postage issues. As of 10 JAN item has still not been received or refunded.
No refund for clearance items!
Beware items bought on "reduced to clear" online or "clearance" in store cannot be returned for a refund and "may" only be exchanged for an "identical item".
Wasn't aware of this when I made some recent online purchases. Mixed bag of didn't fit or suit me. No local Myer so travelled to the closest one but unable to exchange for right size as not in store and nothing I could do with the unsuitable. Whilst in the shop I also found it confusing which items were on sale that can be returned or clearance that can't.
Looked again at the website an...d it was noted in the item description also referring you to the full return policy which you scroll through to find "excluded" returns. Once the item is added to the shopping bag this policy is no longer noted. I did overlook this, as there are a lot of details in those description, but I would have been happy if an exchange for a different item had been an option. The shopping bag should also identify clearance items and the non return policy as part of the description. Currently the bottom of the shopping bag refers to "easy returns" for "change of mind" which you assume covers any items in your bag. There is no reference to items being clearance or that they can't be returned. Checkout is where you make do the final check of your order before you hit the pay button. I think this policy is unfair for online purchases which you have no idea if they are suitable until you receive them. Now stuck with clothes that I can't wear but I won't be making that mistake again and hopefully neither will you.
Absolutely horrendous behaviour.
One item from an order from Dec 26 had no hint of being processed, and when chased up I was simply given the answer that ‘it is out of stock and we meant to get back to you.’ Which they clearly didn’t bother at all.
I was to be given a Myer Returns gift card which I clearly will have no use for after this horrendous experience.
Click and Collect? More like Click and Wait
Ordered an item online, nominated to pick up at store A, was told a few days later it was sold out and issued with a refund.
Ordered the same item online to be picked up at another store B, four days later, no communication what so ever, had to to call them. Was told the item is again sold out.
They said I can go to store C to pick this up, supposed to be available by tomorrow, still waiting for confirmation e mail.
I don't know why it is difficult for the store to send item to another store within the same company so customer can pick up a...t a store that is closest to him/her. If you can post to any address, you should be able to post this to another Myer store for customer to pick up. Incidentally, store transfer is an available option clearly stated on their website. I also find it is a joke to ask customer to chase up the item. Now I made a bad mistake to purchase a gift card to buy this item. Next time I will just pay cash and get the item elsewhere. It is little surprising that with this level of service, customers will simply not bother shopping at Myer, not only the prices are usually higher the customer service is really quite lacking.

Questions & Answers
I received my online purchased salt and pepper cuvee set of 6 champagne flutes except that one glass is missing. This is a Christmas present and I would like to know how this happened and where can I get another glass.
