Best BBQ Cooking on the market!!
So versatile - cook BBQ or roasts, no problems - yes, you need to cook with lid down which saves on gas but the flavour is to die for YUM!. You just need to change your usual cooking style. My hubby still cant quite get it but I have mastered it really well and wouldnt use anything else now after this weber. Produces the best juciest steaks and the greatest roasts. Come on guys, get with the newest way to cook! I have the weber 300 and is truly the most compact family BBQ on the market. I can honestly say that I will never go back to the traditional way of BBQ cooking.
Energy efficient - flavoursome
Cant think of anything

One of the best purchases we ever made!!
I just love this barbecue. We dropped into a friend's house to pick up our daughter and the friend suggested we stay for dinner. We couldn't believe it when within a very short space of time we were presented with the most delicious and tender steaks I have ever tasted. They told us how easy the Weber Q was to use and also easy to clean - my type of barbecue.
I looked up the Product Review website and most people seemed to be saying the same thing so we went ahead and purchased the Q300 - we have a family of six and I liked the fact that...Read more
it has a larger grill area and is on its own trolley. We hardly ever had barbecued meat before, except on weekends when my husband or son might light up the big four burner, mostly because I couldn't be bothered cleaning it afterwards. I now use the Weber Q on a regular basis during the week as it is great for quick and easy barbecued meat combined with a salad. I often buy a batch of sausages and cook them up to put on hot dog rolls as a bit of a treat in the kids' lunch boxes. It only takes a few minutes. It has numerous other uses (makes a fantastic roast); I just haven't had the time to try them all out. I read one review which said that it takes a bit of time to work out the cooking periods that suit you and I would agree with that but persevere, it is well worth the effort. Fast and easy cooking, easy to clean, produces delicious and tender meat. Can be a bit tricky to ignite at times until you get the right technique - I find better to keep the lid down for about 30 secs after turning gas on before pressing the ignition switch; doesn't always cook evenly across the whole grill-plate - could be me. If you're a "lid up" type of barbecuer you'll hate it as it's designed to work with lid down, more like a convection oven combined with a barbecue taste.1 comment

Hi can I convert Weber q 300 form natural gas to lpg gas and easy to do please

Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Mohamed, you can do this easily, you just need to coordinate with our head office on 1300 301 290. We can organise the parts you need, and if necessary, organise a technician to help do the conversion. You'll also need a new data label that states that your barbecue is now an LPG model, not NG. Thanks

Good cooking, Janet.

Hi Speedy, unfortunately the regular Family Q's cannot be converted to the Built-in 3600 Q's. They are designed completely differently and aren't designed to be built in. Please let us know if you need any more information.
