Very Disappointed
I Have a westinghouse model: WHI644BA. We Have been Using it for 4 months. I noticed a number of cracks in the middle of glass. None which start from the outside edges. Nothings been dropped on it. Checked the middle of glass by pressing down with my thumb and it flexed. It has no support. I have been happy the way this cooktop works but I am very disappointed with these cracks.

Still very new
This induction cook top was only installed a few weeks ago, and now sits in a Caesarstone bench.
The electrician pointed out that the stove top required special power requirements, which was a point I failed to notice in any reviews. Good thing I am doing total renovations.
Otherwise, it is a case of so far, so good.
The press button dials are easy to see, and the top is easy to clean.
I quite like best the boost function for almost instant boiling water.
I do not cook much, so I haven't tried it out to any extent.

Clean and precise
Had this cooktop for two years now and still very happy with it. Our first induction cooktop, and having eliminated the unsuitable cookware we had, wouldn't have anything else now. Fast to heat, ultrafast on boost. Precise, with very fine control on the lower settings. If the phone rings or whatever, just hit pause and it does just that so you don't burn things while distracted. The only downside is the slick glass allows pans to slide if you stir vigorously, and that means you need a hand to hold on to the pan, but that applies to all glass cooktops. Super easy to clean.

rEQUIREMENT; UNLIMITED ELECTRIC SUPPLY!!!!
We were talked into this by Good guys, better for you at your age!!! installed yesterday, first off tried 2 pans of water, after 1 hr only warm!!! Then boiled water in a jug poured into a pan with carrots, ( bear in mind when you normally do this water boils instantly!!) NO, 25 mins on power boost, then guess what!!! power boost shuts down, 45 mins of electric to cook carrots, we are aged pensioners, so power is far too expensive for us to be doing this!!!!

ould be fine. When I had this issue with the cook top came across an article try sticking a magnet on to you pan base, if it will not stick the pans are not suitable for induction cook tops. so back to Good Guys, the guy who sold me the top wasn't aware of this. To Good Guys credit replaced the cook top.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I have a Westinghouse induction cooktop which I think is WHI644BA. It was installed in 2015. I just noticed the back corner has a crack going across it only 1cm from the corner and some of the side came away when I wiped the counter. I have not dropped anything on it and I rarely use that part. What should I do? This is genuinely not misuse and it is my first glass top so I have been super careful.

Can not find electrical cable inside the WHI644BA pack.
So, need buy it separately?

Sorry. I cannot help. I left all that to the builder and electrician. I did not even open the boxes.
If you are installing this in Australia, it MUST be installed by a licensed electrician. Hence no cable. No electrician, then it will be an illegal installation and you will have no product warranty.
