Problematic tool, not worth the high price
I bought this BP monitor as I thought because it is a gadget, I would do my BP more often. As a doctor, I use the type of BP monitor like this about 20 times per day. The classical machines work always without any problem. The Withings is a pain. Firstly, the microphone is not really clearly indicated, one has to assume it sits in the bigh bulky aluminium part, but it is so fuzzy, that when has to make every time 3 attempts with empty reading before the cuff accepts. My idea: leave it, not worth the money.
Purchased in November 2021 at Apple Online store for A$159.00.

Withings – Poor Customer Support!
Bought the Withings – The Smart Blood Pressure Monitor from David Jones around 2011, used it just a few times with my older iPhone 4 (old 32 pin dock) until I've to upgrade to the iPhone 5 that uses the newer lightning cables socket. Every time when changing the batteries it was very frustrating trying to closed the lid properly again as it keeps falling off, so I decided to stop using it years ago. Trying to contact Customer Service on the Withings website was useless, as it keeps sending me round and round the site with no options to send any message to Withings Customer Support for help, basically, even no phone number to contact Withings. As it was bought at David Jones years ago, and I've lost my receipt and though the product still looks very new and hardly used with the original packaging, it's useless when I'm unable to use it.
