Gets fluff balls after several washes, only 30% wool
I would give it 3.5 stars. I don't know if it's just my machine but I bought two of the 3 seasons sleeping bags and I found that after a few washes they got fluff balls, even though i used a gentle detergent. I started off washing them by hand but since my baby is young & they would get dirty regularly, I needed to wash one almost every day, so I started putting them on a 15 minute cycle. I don't know if they fluffed up because they are only 30% wool and 70% cotton. I found this quite low % wool considering the price tag. Yes they are for 3-24 month olds, which is why I decided to purchase them, but they may look pretty ragged by the time your child is older. Overall not too bad a product but expected better quality for the price.
Purchased in June 2021.

The best!
Love love love these sleep sacks.
If I was starting again I would get a couple of swaddles or 'arms in' sacks for the very newborn stage, then 2 of these and that's it until 2 years old! Expensive per sack but actually a cheaper option than the other brands that need separate summer/winter options and have smaller size ranges, meaning you are needing to size up like 3-4 times to cover the same age range as these.
We find this perfect for year round in Perth weather, but we do heat/cool the bedroom a bit as well. Would still cover most ...Read more
of the year with varying the layers underneath if you didn't. Definitely get 2 if that is an option (or something else for backup) as they do take a while to dry- usually only a day depending on the weather, but we wouldn't be without it for even one night. It has a satisfying weight without being heavy, I think our baby has associated the sack with bed time and that combined with the temperature regulation of wool has seemed to help his sleep. If you have a wiggly baby like me I recommend going for the zip style rather than the kind with pops at the shoulders.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

A warm baby is a happy mumma
We moved to Tassie and the cold nights required something better than a swaddle & blanket for our baby. A friend recommended this to us (she has 6 kids) and wow. It is used all year round and in winter we just pop a longsleeved tshirt on bubs for that extra bit of warmth.

Love this sleeping bag
We have both the 3 season and the duvet weights. I used them with my daughter and am now using them with my son. Love that they are made of natural breathable fibres so I know bubs is warm but less likely to overheat compared to other sleeping bags. Excellent quality and have lasted very well.

Beautiful and soft.
These are the most luxurious sleeping bags for little ones, and also the not so little ones. My almost two year old daughter has two of the 3 Seasons Bags and will likely still use them in the next size up. She has never liked blankets so these bags have become our best friend. I use this bag throughout summer and into the cooler months but change to the duvet weight when winter reaches its coolest in Brisbane. I love that I can be assured that she is sleeping at a comfortable temperature by adjusting what she wears underneath the bag at bed ti...Read more
me and never having to get up in the night or early morning to add additional blankets. These bags, in my opinion, are the loveliest, most affordable, easy to wash, and durable merino wool sleeping bags on the market. Thanks Woolbabe! Design, size, price, comfort, easy to wash, front zip.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great sleeping bag
It is great to have my son sleeping through the nights most nights with keeping warm in new sleeping bag. It;s great to use. Nice and soft and the zips have nice big tags for my husbands hands. Also having the cut out for the harness or seat belt in the car makes it handy if travelling.
Soft and warm
sometimes the two way zip can be annoying

Perfect weight
This bag is the best. Perfect in winter for day sleeps when the sun has warmed his room and the duvet weight bag (also perfect) is too hot. Perfect at night with merino layers underneath as it's easy for them to move about in. Love it. Would definitely recommend it to friends.
Lightweight but very warm

Sleep with piece of mind
We love this bag, my little guy knows it is time to sleep when he goes in it. I also sleep well knowing he is as warm as can be, he has never woken from being cold. We have all three bags and they are all worth getting for the change of seasons.
Reliable

Love all of our Woolbabes!
We have the 3 season and duvet woolbabes and absolutely love them both. They are super cosy and soft and keep our little girl nice and warm all night long. I never have to worry about her waking up cold or with blankets over her head, it's such a relief :)
My little girl loves her woolbabe and knows when she has it on that it's sleeptime. I couldn't recommend them enough and tell all of my friends to get one!
Warm, cosy, soft, reliable

Love it!!
I have 2 of these so when one is in the wash I have a spare, my girl is a wiggler so blankets were just a nightmare to keep on her and I was worried about them going on her face, we transitioned my 4 month old out of her swaddle into the sleeping bag and had no problems she sleeps so well. we have a warm house that never gets colder than 18 degrees so the weight of the 3 seasons is perfect :-)

I would have given it five star a few months ago.
I bought 2 front zip 3-season Woolbabe sleeping bag when my bub is 6 months. I really loved it then. My bub actually slept through from 7 till 5.30-6am when i started using it, it may just be a coincidence though. I loved that it had a little bit of weight to it, like a doona. It is soft and stayed soft after every wash. They do get washed every second day and I do put it in the warm tumble dry cycle for half hour at the end of the day if they are not completely dry when they've been on the line all day. The sleeping bags are at a good length, ...Read more
so my bub definitely will be able to use it until she is 2 years old. I especially love that is has some wool in it and the rest is cotton. All is great until my bub started to get too active to lie/sit still when I am trying to zip in the sleeping bag. The zipper design is similar to Grobag zips, the beginning of the zipper has to meet under the chin first then zip down to bub's feet. The problem is, the width of the zip cover (to protect bub's chin from getting grazed by it) is too narrow to pull it back completely, hence a nightmare trying to slide-in the ends of the zipper rail into the zipper itself because you can't really see much when you are wrestling with a strong squirming acrobatic child ! I never notice this problem when I first started using it as bub was only little then. Second problem is also about the zips. They say on the instructions, there is a protective cover for the zippers, to protect it while it is in the washing machine. Similar feature to Grobags, there's a pocket at the end of the zip (near the feet end). Well, the Woolbabe ones doesn't really allow the both zips to be completely covered/protected because, it is too narrow and the zip rails actually stops just above the protective pocket. So.....it kind of makes the protective pocket useless because the zips can't even reach the entire pocket, narrow as it is. Third problem, now that bub is 11 months, I have started to notice that the width of the sleeping bag is narrower than the other two well known brands of sleeping bags that I also have. Because it is long but narrow, I find that bub tends to get tangled up in Woolbabe sleeping bag more than the other brands. The tags is also a problem. It's on the back of the neck area. It keeps scratching bubs back of her neck and it doesn't stay in. I also wonder why it doesn't have a washing care label on it ? For the price, I would have been happier if Woolbabe had done their homework a bit more on those small but important things. Recently, I was looking for a thicker sleeping bag for winter. I would have bought Woolbabes winter weight one but I couldn't justify the price for all the issues I am having with their design right now. I have I noticed that the Woolbabe brand has started selling pyjamas as well. A bit pricey and I would have bought them too, but I didn't, in fear of more issues. I hope they will improve the sleeping bags if they want to keep charging that price. The materials are soft and durable, good length. Design of the zips, narrow width, tend to get twisted and tangled, price2 comments
I cant imagine any zipper surviving that much washing and tumble drying. We have had our woolbabe for nearly 2 years. It is wool, so it is naturally antibacterial so you don't need to wash it that frequently and ours is a good as new.

Beautiful Baby Bags
I had never heard of woolbabe bags until I saw them on a couple online baby stores I use. Thought I'd give one a go as i was after a sleeping bag made of all natural fibres and wasn't completely happy with my merino kids gogo bag. I got the 3 season front zip for my 7mth son and loved it. It is so soft, even after washing and the quality seems to be very good. The thing I'm most impressed about is its ability to absorb moisture as my son's nappies leak regularly. This bag really did draw the wetness away from him so he was almost dry and still warm! I already got a summer bag now looking at getting the winter bag.
Softness, quality and absorbency. The price is also good compared to other wool bags. Australian design and materials.

The small size 0-9mths sleep bag - do the arm holes button up completely so as to keep arms secure like a swaddle? My baby still has no control over her arms.
