I am dissapointed with no power Love the electric start,tilt/ trim .Good long tiller handle, easy flushing nice motor to use power to weight a bit sad Hard to diagnose faults possibly aver done with electronics2 comments
Check the prop size. My father has the new F30 and it is very good. He runs a 4.2 Metre TABS. If it is over propped then that will cause very poor performance.

Would this motor be suitable on my stacer 4.29 seahorse?

Hi
You would be better to go for the 40HP as it has power lift and power trim. They are basically the same motor specifications but with hydraulic lift added. The extra power would be handy at times and does not need to be used if it is not required. The question of suitability needs to take into account the number of people on board, the weight of the people remember 90kg is the accepted weight of a male and the use to which the boat is put to. From my experience the 30HP motor was inadequate for a Brooker 4.1m boat with 3 people on board. The 40HP was fantastic the saying is like chalk and cheese.
