Spark plug. Swap it out and wd40 everywhere. My bike stalled on the highway in rain and that fixed it

How much is life expectancy of R15 yzf how much kilometres can it travel before it shows engine problem?

With all bikes, it depends on many factors,
As long as you follow the service schedule and maintenance, these bikes will last a long time.
I've seen some uber riders with r15s with over 150k and running strong

I recently took a 1 hour trip on my r15 I didn't realise that the oil lid cap wasn't screwed on properly. The oil is now bone dry. & the bike won't start, just wanting to know when I refill the oil will the bike start? Because the engine light never came on or anything bad. Does it have a fail safe for that kind of incident?
1 answer
It possibly did serious damage to the engine. If it was me I would refill the oil, see if it turns over ok and then listen for any strange sounds and then once it has warmed up slowly take it through the rev range slowly still listening. If you have a knocking or rattling sound it will be time to get a new engine or get it reconditioned by a professional. You should hopefully be ok due to great engine design of Yamaha. Good luck.

What is the top speed that can be maintained for an extended time e.g riding on open highway?
1 answer
Depends a lot on your weight. I'm heavy and fairly squashed it at 110kgs being 20kgs less than the 130kg bike fueled. Someone 60-70kgs would have a blast on it. I reckon it'd hold 80-90kg riders. Over 100kgs and you'll find you'll get less out of it than lighter riders. After running in I found 7500rpm was an indicated 110kmh that was probably a real 100kmh. 8500rpm indicated 120kmh. Not a two up machine unless you and your riding partner each weigh less than 50kgs. Popular in Thailand and India with smaller riders. Well made. Handles poor roads fine. I rode my R15 in Christchurch with roads as bad as the one I rode on in Goa. Look up the Aussie guy who rode coast-to-coast on an R15.

Bike is for sale with 9000km done and make 2011 .yamaha r15. .how much to pay to buy the bike ...?
1 answer
According to Red Book prices the 2011 model had a trade-in value in the range $AUD1800 - 2200 and private buyer prices in the range $AUD2800 - 3300. 9000km in 3-4 years is not a lot, so try to find out if it was mainly used for peak hour traffic or similar commuting.
