Money grabbing con site!
After reading some high reviews on various platforms by (apparently) people who had joined this dating website, and raving about their experiences, I decided to give it a go!
Firstly, they would send me notification of profiles which not only did not match my "potential ideal partner" (as I had set in my profile), and despite me rejecting the notifications and the suggested profiles, they would continue sending them!
They notify you of the people who have viewed your profile (as potential matches). A nonsensical approach, since, had the perso...
Read moren viewing my profile been interested in initiating contact, she would have done so by sending me a smile, and then I would have responded appropriately at my discretion. After 2 months or so being with them [having paid a six months subscription fee], I realised that the site wasn't for me and decided to hide my profile and go into "inactive" mode, with the hope of not receiving repetitive notification of the same non-matching profiles. A year had past since I joined them first, when I noticed that my PayPal account had been debited by Zoosk for another 6 months subscription! I sent them a number of emails regarding the fact that my account had been inactive for around 10 months, and the recent charge was not justified, but never received a response. So went back to their Terms and Conditions page and noticed the clause that unless an account is deleted, they would keep charging the subscriber on regular basis!!- 12 reviews

Scam App
This is a Dating app that is designed to suck money from you. I have no idea how these other reviewers claim they found love & such, but I am willing to bet they paid for it, or are being paid to compliment the app.
There is nothing good about this app. Even if you do match with someone, you have no way of chatting with them, or exchanging info..or anything. You can't even leave info on how they can find you, because they'd just delete it from your profile manually.
These dating apps always have RIDICULOUS prices for even the bare essentials, so please stay far away.
The app is only good if you're browsing photos for free. Everything else is behind hundreds of dollars of paywall.
Love at long last
I had a great experience on this site l have met someone so very special he is my soul mate he is the best thing that has come into my life

Fake Profiles
I paid for one Month Membership. I contacted many women, polite introductory note etc, and never got any replies. May profiles of these women, have a nice cover photo, but their other photos can be an empty restaurant, a horse or what appears to be their boy friend. It is about high time that a legitimate dating site was available.
I deleted my ZOOSK Account and Elite Sigles

Scam\ Fake
Zoosk
This service is mostly useless and customer support are unhelpful and incoherent.
Full of fake profiles, site constantly emailing you with fake connection\views and messages. I have also notice different devices provide different search results. I paid for a subscription for 3 months but gave up after 2 weeks effort with sad service and connection. Definitely keep clear of this site one of the worst. If you silly enough to try it out and pay for a subscription you’ll soon learn of the sites errors\fakeness but by then it will be to late to recover or gain refund. I’m a good looking honest guy trying to help others not fall victim to this site.

Just another boring money hungry dating site with zero results
Oh boy. My wife left me and our children two years ago. As time went by, the hurt turned into loneliness. I mean, come on, how much fun can you have with a 14 year-old teenager who doesn't like going outdoors. Who do you talk to? Who do you cuddle up to in bed? Oh, yeah, I have two cats. I also suddenly realized that I was no longer 40, 30 or 20 years old.
Anyway, I created an email address for signing up to a bunch of dating sites. I've already written about one of them and gave them a negative review. In a nutshell, all dating sites, excep...
Read moret for two, prey on your loneliness to urge you to subscribe and pay them money. It is no different with Zoosk. I knew that but Zoosk was cheaper and did not appear to bombard me with as many emails as other sites. But let's get down to details: 1. All subscription sites turn on auto-renewal by default. It is difficult to tell on Zoosk whether "cancelling subscription" will cancel auto-renewal or cancel the whole subscription. Why not just put a tick box up there saying "cancel auto-renewal"? Instead, you can't cancel auto-renew. you can only cancel the whole subscription and then you can no longer contact other members = scam, unethical!!! 2. I am constantly bombarded with unsolicited emails such as "someone viewed your profile". Who cares?! If I make a minor change to my profile, I get an approval email. I get unsolicited emails about smart picks and so on. My inbox is full of useless emails. Why should I pay extra to know whether member 'X' read my message? Who cares?! If she didn't read my message, move on! 3. Although Zoosk has a range of verification methods, I appreciate that I don't have to send them copies of my passport or drivers license to verify me. However, within minutes of signing up, I started getting messages from hot women in Sydney. Now why would a 20-something year-old gorgeous model from Sydney be interested in an overweight dude in his late fifties? The site is full of scammers, disingenuous and fake people. 4. Now to the fake: why would a normal person upload a blurry image showing their cheek, foot or eyebrow. OK, I get it. I am also shy and don't want my colleagues seeing me on a dating site. It's very personal when you put yourself out there. But how the hell did the cheek, eyebrow or foot get approved or verified by Zoosk? It appears that the majority of profiles have been abandoned or are fake. All I got were a dozen or so matches. Pretty pathetic for the money I paid. I might as well just stand on an intersection with a sign around my neck saying I'm single. I'd have better chances finding someone. 5. Then there are issues with profiles: Most are empty. There are few details. I am also shocked that women's liberation has miserably failed. Women still want men to buy them flowers, open the door for them and treat them to dinner. Huh? Yep, none of the profiles talk about equality in the partnership but the woman wants a man who knows how to treat a lady. Can some of these women's lib people please stand up!- 2 reviews

Zoosk owns ieatwords.com
Zoosk owns this site. (productreview.com.au) Now you know why every review here states that they met someone. Incredible, ay? Not really, setting up "review sites" is common with scammy dating sites. But I must say, Zoosk went overboard and actually made a "real" review site, but still rated themselves the best site at the top of the list ... and the fake reviews of course where EVERYONE found their "life soulmate".
So many fake profiles
Incredible how many profiles are fake. I checked quite a few profiles and found one real person. They don't even bother to hide them very well. Unfortunately, you have to pay to find out for yourself. If you really want to check for yourself, PAY FOR ONE MONTH ONLY. You'll see soon enough.

The pits!
I paid for 6 months. Waste of $$. I looking for a mature man but not overly. Zoosk allocated me into age group that I am not happy with. When using carousel or smart picks all I do is hit X . Waste money..very restrictive. All live in Victoria.
A scam
For a lengthy period of time prior to my subscription l had many saved searches that l checked regularly so l was very familiar with the results and they were always consistent. l then paid for a subscription. What a mistake. All of a sudden my search results changed dramatically. Many people were missing and sometimes now for some searches l may get only a hand full of results or zero results. This was never the case before. I've had a subscription now for a few day and now l'm finding each day l get totally different results. When l attempted to contact Zoosk all l got was an automated response hidden behind a supposed person.
Total Waste of time
I've been singed up for 3 months so far. I'm an average looking, middle aged guy, educated, and a gentleman. I was never approached buy anyone, nor did anyone ever respond to my expressions of interest. It just seemed I was trying to connect with an imaginary figure. The thought that I might be texting to a machine, and the subject of some algorithm, makes me feel deceived, even gullible. Honestly, if you find someone, then I wish you good fortune. Personally, I think you will be disappointed, maybe even disillusioned. Nothing beats real world experience.

very disappointing
I came here for a meeting of someone with similar likes just for some company, had no expectations and was not disappointed, cannot go back easily to check on some profiles, keep scrolling, messages not being delivered, $89 gets you into the site for six months worth of marketing bombardment from zoosk, get this, upgrade to get more hits, just click here and women will fall from the sky and into your lounge room, for a price, how much can you spend to actually make this work, nothing I think is the answer, dont waste your money folks, move on to something else.
Don't bother
Thought I would give Zoosk a go, although was suspicious that it was probably a rip off, which has now been confirmed. Have been bombarded with emails stating that my profile had been viewed, but on checking it hadn't. Have started sending messages to everyone who has supposedly viewed my profile without a single response. Either there is something horribly wrong with my profile, or the other profiles don't exist....leave it up to you to decide, but think carefully before you invest in this site with the hope of meeting someone who is genuine, and not a robot.
Zoosk gets you into their site advertising free
Zoosk advertises free to give your details then allows you to view the gallery. Then you get messages from interested parties but can't read their messages. I haven't given in to this scam. I am still waiting for a message from Romantic1!
I am looking forward to see how things go from here
Its been great that i was able to find someone in here. And i am hoping things work out so far so good. I feel like ive met the one
Zoosk - total CON - avoid!!
This dating app is a total con - full of fake profiles - I have found numerous profiles with the same photos and most profiles are not complete. They also try and con you to buy added features in addition to the monthly subscription - why would i when not one of my messages has been returned - not even to say not intetested! As I say - total con!
Zoosk - a rip off!
I lasted a week & a half putting up with this deceitful dating system and then lost my $90 subscription when I deactivated my account out of disgust. However I could've lost more had I been further manipulated. Its full of inactive and fake accounts. I calculated in my search criteria that only about 25% seemed to be active. There maybe some genuine live profiles but these are few and far between. Its all about getting as much money out of you as possible and the truth needs to be told about these greedy companies. Do yourself a favour and don't go near them, don't sign up - they're rubbish! Spread the word.. online dating apps are bad news!!
Voted number one for a reason
I have been out of the dating scene for quite some time. Not getting any younger, I thought why not have a crack? See what this online dating thing is about. Really had next to no expectations, but to my surprise I started up relatively easily. They walk you through really... Then even more surprising I began receiving lots of messages with plenty of likes... If I can do it, anybody can...
The worst experience. You cannot get off this site. I signed up on my phone.there is no account settings to cancel there
An ad for zoosk came up when I was on the internet.
Zoosk has all kinds of ways to keep taking money from vulnerable people (purchase coins, flowers etc) predatory site
Very Ordinary product
Have been on Zoosk for a short time
Initially ok but of late I can’t open my matches - all I get it the stupid flapping heart and nothing!
Tried to contact them but they don’t respond
Still take my money though!
May go to Consumer Affairs
Scam- There are many charges above your Subscription
Advertisement drew me to this platform. I subscribed but a couple of hours later immediately unsubscribed. On top of my $30 plus monthly subscription I was asked to purchase coins to view a message. I am a woman looking for men but was matched with other women. There was nowhere on my profile to change the settings nor was I able to change the search as it would revert back to women looking for other women. The help was a computerised system that went in circles. Very poor effort.
