Extra firm, perfect for bad backs

Reasonable for the price
Mattress was not very comfortable until we added a memory foam topper - now it is good. It is hard to handle (no handles for lifting to change sheets etc.) It was cheap so I think it is well worth what we paid for it.

I was really blow away by the quality and comfort of the mattress they made. A lot cheaper than my Wife mattress(purchased $700) but a lot higher quality and comfort. Best choice to go

Good & Affordable Firm Mattress
I have back pain issue and needed a firm enough mattress to support my sleep. With limited budget I have purchased several mattress online which rated as firm but none of them have been firm enough for me. Based on recommendation from a mate I've purchased the assured firm series from zzz atelier which rated as extra firm, and ever since I've been very happy with it. The mattress is firm enough to support my back, but not firm as a floor which would hurt me. For this price I think it worth every value and will be happy to recommend this to anybody who are after a firm mattress.

Only lasts 6 months
Bought on eBay and it was great for the first 6 months. Now it's started to sag & my back pain is back with a vengeance! Unfortunately, I bought 3 of these!

Firm bed that will straighten our back
The mattress is firm as described and when my partner moves/rotates, it minimises disturbance. The firmness will take time to get used too but it felt like it's readjusting/straightening my back posture again. I'll have to wait bit longer to see the effect.

I am absolutely thrilled to bits with my new purchase from this company. From my experiences as a little kid, I know that I need a super-firm mattress. When my original bed frame and mattress gave up the ghost, I went through a succession of mattresses from Ikea, Harvey Norman, places like that. The delivery process was not smooth, unfortunately, due to a dodgy delivery company, but the mattress company went above and beyond to make sure that I received my mattress in good time. Their ethos is to genuinely assist and please the customer, which is rare these days. Now that I have slept on the new mattress several times, I can attest that it is utterly remarkable. Incredibly firm and sturdy, a quality product. I enjoy going to sleep now. Please forgive my daggy joke, but this mattress is literally ‘a dream’ to sleep on. I bought the extra firm mattress on ebay after reasearching for several months.
I have severe spinal issues so require the extra firm mattress.
I contacted the outlet seller on several occassions and the response was reasonably quick and answered my questons.
Delivary was amazing arriving a day earlier than I thought. They very kindly delivered to my front door which is up some stairs. Very grateful for that.

Best firm mattress you can buy at this price point.
I can't comment on the durability as I have only had this mattress a week, but first impressions after sleeping on it for a few days is that it is the best FIRM mattress at this price point ~$200-$300.
The zzz atelier bed "Assured firm" is amazing value. After shopping around at plenty of places for a firm bed which was semi comfortable, we were looking at a minimum of $600. We gambled with this one and so far so good.

You will be able to tell the difference though if you compare it against a $2,000 extra firm mattress, which is what we use day to day, but as a spare bed for the guest room I think its great value. I can't feel the springs when sleeping on it, however, if you were to push your hand down in certain areas you can. This may mean that the padding might be a little thin on top, or perhaps it just needs time to be broken in. Best mattress I've ever had
When it first came, i was very shocked that it was in such small packaging, the quality easily looks to last a long time, bought mattresses that were 4 times the price with not even half the comfort this mattress provided. Firm but very confortable, cant feel a spring at all and the mattress is well built with out any squeaking at all

I bought an ExtraFirm Double . Love it!
I was hesitant to buy a boxed mattress, preferring to try b/4 buying. Communication w/ the zzz.Atelier people (informative, helpful, no hard-sell) along with the bargain price and these reviews helped me to take that leap of faith. I weigh only 60 kg and did consider the chiropractic-endorsed Medium model, but I'm glad I chose the Extra firm. I use my tufted lambswool mattress cover as a "topper". I was hoping the firmness would encourage me to sleep on my back more often, but it is still comfortable enough for side sleeping. As it has 630 pocket springs (triple-tempered, 2.3 mm thick), I expect it's structure to last much longer than my Bonnell-sprung, only 2+half year old, almost twice the price, store-bought mattress. Another important consideration for me was mattress weight and as the Extra Firm double mattress weighs only 25 kg, I was able to move it and set it on it's base by myself, while being aware of the possible fragility of the breathable cotton fabric around the sides. They did recommend unrolling it on it's intended base to let it expand, then wait 24 hrs before sleeping on. Also, no strong off-gassing smells. I write this after my 6th night of rest. Hope this helps. (I live in regional NSW and paid a very reasonable extra $33 for delivery.) UPDATE 4/3/18 : 93 nights later I bought a 2" thick memory foam topper. My 61 year old body started to need some "give". No regrets as cheaper to replace topper than whole mattress and the mattress weight remains manageable.Similar opinion? Would be great value at twice the price - excellent !!
This is a fabulous mattress & can't be beaten for value. Made to a very high standard, it is everything the advertisements say. Prior to this purchase, I had bought what was advertised as a similar mattress but was very disappointed with the quality. The mattress gives me great support & has thus far been trouble free, although to be fair, I've only had it a few months. I have told friends & colleagues what great value for money it is, & would highly recommend ZZZ Atelier products (assuming they are all made as well as mine)

Amazing
I bought King Single in Assured Firm for my 3 y.o. daughter. Before she woke up every second night but since we got this mattress she sleeps through! I can't be happier. And it feels comfortable when I putting her to bed and lying down next for 30-40 min.

Excellent value for money
Using the mattress for over 3 months, it has improved our quality of sleep, general posture and muscle comfort has improved. The support has been unmatched where it counts, equivalent to more costly brands we have used in the past. I have no doubt it will continue to provide comfort for many years to come.

The best mattress I have ordered online
I ordered a queen sized firm mattress on Thursday night at around 11pm and the mattress was delivered Friday evening!! (Is this real!!?!!! WOW!) Amazed with the super fast service.
Opening the mattress was easy and the firmness is pretty good. Much better than the ones I have seen in the stores.
If you like hard mattress (not like a stone-hard), dont think much and just order!

My partner couldn't believe it came in a box and only took 2 days to arrive. Left it for a half a day after it was unpacked to get its shape back. Nice and firm just the way I like it.For what I paid it's definitely great value for money. Won't be buying another mattress from you know where ever again. And great service too

Hi, yes it is similar to a futon without the lumps.
I have found it excellent for my back as I need to sleep on a door, so to speak.
