We have been very satisfied with the whole Koala experience the order and delivery were hassle free and on time.
We have found the mattress to be comfortable and supportive, to date it cannot be faulted and we are very happy with our purchase.

A better night sleep for all.
My back is feeling much better. This mattress is the same where ever you lay .
No signs of sagging .At first i thought it was just too hard, but now i am used to it i am feeling way better in the morning !!!

No Hot Spots
We have been using the KS mattress for 4 weeks. No hot spots. Light and easy to make. This is a mattress for sleeping - can't feel partner moves, and VERY comfortable, right mix between soft and firm. Although it is not a mattress for sitting on the sides - as it is not as firmly SUPPORTED OR CONSTRUCTED as other mattresses, we bought it for sleep improvement - no hot spots- and we have that. GREAT.
Service, delivery and follow up is EXCELLENT. Packaging is superb and the sheets come in delightful boxes - but a tad over done as usually the boxes are recycled....although it is recommended to use for storing other things.

Improved Deep sleeping and back pain
Comfortable, firm and easy to clean with its cover. It was great that it was delivered at the door and the company took my old mattress . Very impressed

Bad back made worse
I have a bad back but it made my bad back worse was hoping it would make it better, a bit to firm for me not enough lumber support, or give . I am going to try adding a mattress topper.

Best mattress ever
I have been having trouble sleeping but since purchasing my queen Koala mattress I have been sleeping well, it's great and waking up refreshed. I have recommended it to my friends.

So comfortable
Very happy with the new mattress. Waking up without a sore back is great. The feel is firm but not like a plank!
So far no distortion to the shape and no sagging.

Best mattress we have ever had.
We are both in our 70's with bad backs before purchasing a koala. No more do we suffer. We are also enjoying a better nights sleep. Wish we had brought it years before

Best sleep ever!
not too soft,not too hard.. just perfect! it was love at first sleep. It is very comfortable to sleep in, at first we were like well, there is 120 days trial so we’ll just see if we like it. But the first night we just slept like a baby.. Well this mattreds is for keeps! Never knew sweet dreams are made of these.

Better than a lot of mattresses, but after 1 year, decided to move on.
LONG TERM REVIEW
After 1 year of owning the koala mattress it's held up well except for one aspect; it has sagged a full 5 cm in the middle. Customer service has been brilliant and swapped out the mattress for a new one the very next day! However, I'm afraid the issue will present itself again in a year. This is why I am now looking for a different mattress (perhaps Sleeping Duck?) and put the koala in the guest bedroom. In addition, i woke up with shoulder pains most nights. The mattress is defintely on the firmer side.

Wonderful inexpensive, quality mattress
I purchased a King Single Koala mattress in December 2022 to replace my previous, very expensive 9 month old AH Beard mattress which was causing almost unbearable back pain.
After the first night on my Koala mattress my back pain began to ease and was totally gone after 3 days. As an unexpected bonus my knee pain dramatically diminished as well. I used to dread going to bed and couldn't wait to get out of it; now I actually look forward to going to bed and I'm happy to linger in bed in the morning :)

Getting used to it
Seems very comfortable however it's so different from what I'm used to that it may take a bit more time to adjust. Cant say about longevity - only had it 2 weeks.
The koala toy is cute but unnecessary land fill by the way.

Best Mattress!!
This mattress is extremely comfortable and supportive. Even from the first night I was sleeping well! The Koala mattress has relieved a lot of neck pain and allowed me to get a deeper, longer sleep.
I have only had the Koala mattress a week but loving it so far and customer service was exceptional!

Nice mattress
We had a sealy mattress for a couple of years and I found it never supported me properly. We decided to give Koala a go because it is Australian made (although the koala toy is made in China which I wasn’t happy about) and because of the trial available. After a month all is well, I feel the mattress does support you well but is also comfortable.
I am returning my pillow as it feels too high for me (even on the soft side) but that is personal preference I guess (side sleeper).
So far I would recommend a Koala mattress.

Amazing!
Previous to my Koala mattress, I was waking up feeling aching in my back and hips - now I wake up with no pain at all. This mattress is so comfortable.

Good company, disappointing product
I wanted to love the koala mattress, but this was not the case for us. My husband and I got our mattress in sept 2017, and we had a good experience with it for the first 6ish months. After this point I could feel a ridge in the middle of the mattress, and on closer inspection there were actually 2 solid areas of sag down the mattress, with the ridge in the middle between where we would usually lay. service at Koala were good; they were prompt and organised everything quickly. I was happy with this and hoped I had just been one of the unlucky ones, but it meant I was keeping a closer eye on the quality of the next mattress. I noticed within a few months there were awful horizontal-striped yellow lines stained all the way down the mattress, which I again contacted Koala about and they sent a new mattress protector to replace it with. When I tried to apply the new protector the zip failed and I was unable to use it. So it sat in the cupboard and I put the old yellowed one back on. After just over a year of using this mattress I again started to notice a slight sag and kept an eye on it, and started to investigate other mattress brands around instead. My husband started to get a sore back and the quality of our sleep was getting worse so we bought a new mattress from a different company and have been really happy with this one. I reported the sag again to Koala, and we got it replaced for free again, and had the new (3rd) mattress sitting in the box unopened in the spare room. I do not recommend Koala mattresses as I had 2 that did not live up to the expectation the company promises, and I would rather not muck around getting mattresses replaced annually for sagging.Purchased in September 2021 for $1,050.00.

Atrocious delivery and customer service
I was disappointed and left with an emergency situation when Koala failed to deliver within the window I had specified. They didn't mail it out until the first day of the window I'd asked for, and were unable to guarantee it would arrive when I had requested, upon querying. When I pointed out that this wasn't good enough, their failure to dispatch it on time to arrive within the window wasn't my fault, the agent on phone told me 'okay we'll just cancel your order then' and hung up on me!

Do I need to turn or rotate my Koala Mattress?
As it is polyurethane foam-based, Koala mattresses disperses weight evenly. Unlike spring-based mattresses, you do not need to routinely turn or rotate your mattress.
Is there a weight limit to using a Koala Mattress?
The mattress has been tested with several weighted dummies, up to 240 kg (530 lbs), and is suitable for most, if not all body types.
Why do I feel hot when using a Koala Mattress?
A foam-based mattress warms up more in comparison to conventional, spring-based mattresses after some use. Koala recommends changing the fabric type of your bed sheet or fitted sheet if you feel warm.
Do I need a bed base with a Koala Mattress?
A Koala Mattress works with any bed base type, including slat and ensemble bases. Koala recommends that you do not use your mattress directly on the floor for hygienic reasons.

if your bed doesn;t have solid slats it will bow.my bed has thick firm slats and the mattress is firm and comfortable.I was told not to turn mattress over ony rotate it,hope this helps

We recommend using something with a lower thread count, generally the higher the thread count the less breathable the sheets are :)
