Third world service in a first world country!
It was raining hard on 06/09/2019 around 2-2:30pm. I planned to walk from Oaks on William hotel to Melbourne Central as it was just near. But it was raining hard and I was bringing stuff, I don't have any umbrella and I'm on mt first trimester of pregnancy so I thought I'll just grab a taxi for the trip. I saw all these taxi drivers for 13cabs waiting for passengers. someone. I moved on to the second 13cabs taxi and the taxi driver said that that first taxi driver should take me. He spoke to the first driver in their native tongue and still the first driver refused my fare. I am appalled in this kind of behavior because I thought that i would only experience this kind of service from the third world country as i am from a third world country myself,only that I am in a first world country. I would have risked slipping on the pavement and lose my unborn baby. The gravity of this situation is unacceptable. It's no wonder why the general public uses Uber, Didi and the likes to avoid this horrible service. If this issue will not be addressed, I will be reporting this to ABC and do my best to get this issue known. Thank you! Criminal driving in Docklands!!!!
13cabs driver sped thru a pedestrian crossing, clipping a pedestrian who had started to cross, then failed to stop and assist. Being right behind him, I tried honking to get his attention but he sped off. Instead I stopped to render first aid. My dash cam footage with clear footage and rego number sent to VicPol and I've made a formal statement.

Was involved in a hit and run with a 13 cabs taxi. Luckily had witnesses that got the cars details. Now the owner and driver are trying to blackmail and harass me. 13 cabs doesn’t want to know anything about it. Don’t deal with these lying, deceiving pieces of crap.

Very poor
I booked a maxi taxi 3 hours prior to the required pick up time (5pm) via the MyCabs app. The taxi did not arrive at 5pm and when I called the operator to see how long it would be she had no idea and suggested I call back in 10 minutes. Not good enough - cancelled the cab. Very poor indeed

Terribly unorganised company and very dangerous drivers
They don't speak English and sent 2 drivers instead of one. First driver arrived too early and would not stop honking his horn. Very rude drivers too and drive dangerously

Driver bribe
Tried to take a cab from cnr Lonsdale and Russell St to Flinders St Station. Cab Driver asked for "$15 cash or it would cost $25 on the meter"

Great service
Travelled in cab no. 1890 in Melbourne today, on pickup he was polite, opened each door for us & his cab was spotless. I realised I had left something in the cab after he dropped it off, I rang their centre who contacted the driver & he advised that my item was there. He happily returned straight away & didn't want any money for his trouble, gave him some anyway

Abusive, Vulgar, Unprofessional driver
I'll never use 13Cabs again. The driver told me he was here about 30 seconds after making the booking, but I couldn't see him out front. I went downstairs with my 90 year uncle (who I had booked the cab for). It was blowing a gale and the driver called again and told me that he was in fact outside a pub which was at the bottom of the hill, and he insisted that this was my address. I wanted to get my uncle out of the freezing winds. The other driver was becoming very aggressive yelling at me not to get in the cab. He drove up the hill honking his horn and tried to cut off the other cab. He rolled down his window and started swearing at me. I left and could hear him continuing his tirade of profanity. $22.55 on the meter less than 1km from the airport
Unfortunately jumped in 13CABS vehicle at Sydney domestic airport (I didn't have a choice). Less than 1km into the journey I noticed the meter was at $22.55. I asked the driver how this could be and he said "there's two charges plus my waiting time". The two charges should be the Sydney Airport fee of around $4 plus flag fall at approx $3 plus approx $2 per km. So at a stretch the meter should have been around $11-12 yet it was at $22.50. Clearly the driver had started the meter while he was still waiting. Always check the meter when you jump in (or perhaps drivers could be more honest)......

Waste of time, horrible customer support.
I have used them once before for myself and 5 month old baby. I was told ‘of course! All our cabs have baby capsules for all ages.’
Booked a second time nearly 2 HOURS before my train. I called 5 minutes after the booked time to find out if they know how close the cab was to my house and NO CAB had been dispatched. I was told they would and the delay was because only a FEW cars had baby seats. No worries. The time my train was supposed to leave I call again to cancel, and she hung up on me when I was explaining why I’m cancelling.rude, waste of time, lies. Done.

They do not have full record of drivers
Bad customer service and more importantly they don’t have full records of their taxi or drivers. I find Uber or Hired car to be much safer in that regard. I left my phone in a 13CABS taxi in Melbourne, but had the Taxi ID and Driver ID on the receipt. When I called the company I was hung up on the first time, second time they tell me it must have been a different cab company (despite the back of the receipt had 13CABS advertising on it), then the third time I called I was advised it was odd because neither the driver is or the cab I’d on the receipt can be found on their system

Even though the ads say it’s great now it remains the same. Car smelt. Driver wouldn’t put air con on. Insisted on driving his way. Not sure why I’m paying this premium.

Ridiculous!
I wish you could do. Minus star review. I’ve waited hours for a cab. I called them and they told me I’m top priority and none around but keep waiting anyway. Absolutely disappointed. They did not “get me there” plus they hung up on me before the conversation was even over.

Left out in the cold!
I work at a car rental company and had to deliver a car after hours to a site 18 kilometres drive from my office (rural Vic) I ordered the cab before I left my office. Delivered the car and then waited. 40 mins later called 13 cabs again for an eta. I was told they couldn’t give me one and to call back in 10mins if no one had come. and to keep waiting and call again in another 10mins. An hour and a half after my original call I had to call a friend, who lived 30kms away to come and get me. How long was I expected to stand there for??? Why don’t they take your number and call you if none of their drivers can be bothered doing their job??!! So, After giving the taxi industry one more chance at the domestic airport the driver told me to get out of the cab because he didn't want to go to my destination, He then proceeded to drive off with my luggage in the back of his car and choose not to report it to either the company and police. This is why your industry is dying. I've called 13 cabs several times and no action has been taken to locate the driver or the stolen goods. I've had to contact the AFP because they're the only ones with jurisdiction to check the CCTV at the airport. 13CABS has still not contacted me with any kind of update. Absolutely disgraceful.

Booked a taxi for a 3:40 am pickup to take me to the airport. Ready outside at 3:39. Waiting...waiting. 3:55 called 13cabs and was informed there were no cabs in the area. He contacted someone else and they advised the closest taxi was at the next town (25km away).
Now it’s raining, close to 0degrees C and I’m behind schedule to catch my flight.
This is why everyone uses Uber!

If I could give this company less than 1 star I would. Having said that however, I found the phone operators to be very helpful when I phoned them, frustrated that the driver was again late, so they can have the star. As for the drivers, forget it. I turned to 13Cabs because I couldn't find a decent, reliable taxi service from my business address. can't turn up on time? What's the point of being able to book early if you can't rely on this service? Anyone reading this and considering using 13Cabs, be wary of the drivers and the tactics they use to exhort more money out of you. On all 3 occasions that I used the service (3 different drivers) all tried to convince me to go further than my destination just so that they were assured of a higher fare. Thought that maybe they were doing it because I'm female and more vulnerable? No way buddy. Cut to the chase.
Called a cab, code given, eventually l was picked up. Can’t believe this happened. I was dropped off less than a minute later - back from where I was originally collected. The taxi driver received a call who was then informed by the male and aggressive receptionist that the driver had the wrong person in their cab.

Understandably during busy peroids it is stressful. Had someone else get into our booked taxi after waiting 20 minutes. Called again to ask how far away the next taxi would be after waiting an hour. First thing i was told was that i was rude and impatient - all i did was ask how far away the next taxi would be? Great to know that i had waited an hour for no taxi and insults.

Wonderful driver who made a bad day beautiful
Booked for a short emergency trip (other travel was unavailable), and had this absolutely gorgeous personality come and help me out. He was bright, energetic, and very understanding of my situation, and went above and beyond. I was worried it would turn out far worse, given the reviews here, but I was proven damn wrong.

Customers booking taxis when Uber is not available. But if they notice Uber is available, they dance the taxi booking and jump on to Uber. Do you have any future plan to sort out this problem. If you have how long it will take . Please do something otherwise all our driver's suffering. Any ideas?

Start offering a better service at more compeditive rates. Listen to customers, tend to their needs and dont hire twits.
