This company has lost the plot!
Had been a 28 Degrees Mastercard customer for close to ten years. Found a illegitimate charge of $508 on my credit card due to possible skimming. Reported it to Latitude financial and was told it was too late to refund and they didn't contact the merchant. There are no benefits to having this card any longer since other cards like ING waive International fees anyway. There are no points system either and Customer Service is now all offshore. They only just created a mobile app by the way!

I love it, it’s so simple and helpful!
I felt safer and free to buy everything that I needed, without worries about exchanging money, and also I added it in my apple wallet, so it was perfect and I do recommend!

Works when I want it
Zero transaction fees and easy ATM access. I accumulated all my overseas expenses and then made a single repayment when I returned after my overseas trip was over. So easy.

Great customer service
My card was hacked on a recent NZ trip, i have 2 suspicions where.
It was reported to NZ police and Qld police.
The amount was $5500, gone paid to various places like Apple itunes, online gaming site, and air bnb.
I would guess airbnb as i had never used it before that trip and it is the only web site that stored that 28D card.
It started 4 days after the last time i used it and went on for 2 days until the card was stopped.
28D were right onto it, canceled the card and started the return process. It was 11pm Sunday night when i called Latitud...Read more

Poor problem solving
Generally good ...... until you need help to resolve a problem. Tried to organise a supplementary card for my daughter who is travelling at short notice. Nobody cares about the timeframe. Nobody cares.

Very useful card
Have used my card on many overseas trips. I have never had a problem with it. If you pay it on time it is good value. Charging for a setup to pay online was a money grabbing exercise as it was much more convenient than the direct payment for no charge. The extra such as airport lounge access is good but some lounges are not worth the time of filling in all the info. Over all I am happy with the card.

Great Card, Shocking Call Centre Backup.
The card is fantastic, no Overseas Transaction Fees or Annual Charges. We travel overseas & purchase overseas, on-line frequently. When calling with a problem, initially the backup was brilliant. In one instance even got my money back from a shonky on-line seller, however it appears they have relocated their call centre & it is now atrocious.
Recently when calling with a query, they finally answered my query, but unbeknown to us, they had also reduced our credit limit, & it took me four days of continual calls to have it reinstated & this was...Read more

Great for using overseas
Very convenient. I have compared the AUD amount offered by the hotel with the amount converted from the local currency on my card and have found it is always lower

Good card but you cannot pay for the expenses within 5 days
I transferred some funds to pay for expenses. I tried to use the card for further purchases but could not due to insufficient fund. When I transferred additional funds to the card for future expenses the system did not let me to transfer funds because I have already done a fund transfer in the last 5 days. That is ridiculous

Perfect for overseas transactions
I have found this card to be really a cost saver, with the no fees feature, you are saving with every transaction, and the touch pay function works also in most places. I travel constantly overseas, and its almost accepted everywhere, even Singapore taxi . I have lost count of how much it has saved over the many years I have used it. Only thing is you need to pay it off within in the free interest time, otherwise the interest costs quickly will remove the exchange rate savings.

A fantastic card!
My wife and I both have 28 Degree Mastercards and use them when he travel overseas, which is regularly. We also use them for overseas bookings and purchases from Australia as the exchange rate is always better than any other method and there are no fees. They are invaluable!

Excellent credit card for travel
No transaction fees and excellent exchange rate overseas, making this my go-to card to use while travelling. It's also pretty decent for withdrawing cash, albeit there is 4% cash advance fee.
Make sure to pay in local currency if you are asked whether to pay in AUD or local currency.
The app is excellent and easy to use.
The only downside is that I'm not aware of any points at all.

Excellent Exchange Rates and no fees on Latitude 28 degrees!
The card is excellent to use overseas, due to good exchange rates and absence of the outrageous 3% fee other institutions charge. I really like using the card. The website is good also.
However, my one source of unhappiness with the card is the low monthly limit. I cannot seem to get my limit above $15,000. This means that when I travel overseas I end up having to 'top up' my card to keep the balance from going over 15K. However this effectively turns it into a debit card, and if I forget to top it up, I go through the embarrassing experience ...Read more

hi,
Where (online) can I see the current AUD:USD conversion rate so I know how good it is compared to simply going to a currency converter and changed AUD to USD.
Thanks

Just wondering how suitable this card is for use within Australia? I noticed that there are recommendations for using it for online international transactions but what about for AU sites? And just shopping in general? Thanks :)
