So far it's good

published

Bought last week due to the old Haier model broken down.

This new one seems to run quiet and not shaking. Still new so it's early to tell. but so far it's pretty good for $500

Purchased in April 2020 at Bing Lee for $499.

Surprisingly good value for money

published

Firstly the one thing I had trouble with was programming, however once i realised that all I needed to do was select memory the last wash I selected would replay that wash .
Be warned THERE IS NO FABRIC SOFTENER facility in this machine, what I do is premix some powder or liquid detergent in a old OMO bottle and put a bit of Fabric softener and dissolved powder in with some water and next time i do a wash I simply pour the pre mixed powder and softener product into the wash it works a treat ..try it apart from that very little tangles and just a great low cost basic washing machine from the Fisher Paykel company @ $484 from the Good Guys you wont go wrong .

Purchased in December 2022 at The Good Guys for $484.

Price was excellent great for singles small families

published

As a granny I needed a small machine for a modest price that would give me good results and it certainly has lived up to my expectations. A compact machine, the end result is amazing super clean clothes, bedding etc. 10 min cycle fantastic for delicates. I have washed dog blankets, floor mats and the dirty residue that comes from cleaning the filter is proof it is really doing a good job. I laminated the instructions but the press button features are easy to understand and operate. It may lack myriad of settings and features but it does the job, results in clean washing, done quickly, efficiently, quietly and a cost effective solution for those living alone or with small families.

Purchased in April 2022 at The Good Guys Physical store.

Great 7kg top loader for a single person

published

I did research before purchasing this item. Great washing machine for a single person. Easy to operate. Many different cycles/levels/timers. Washes my queen size fitted, flat, pillowcases and a few other items in one cycle. Gentle cycles work very well on clothes, particularly jumpers, fragile garments (use cold water only). Compact and inexpensive. Very Happy with my final purchase.

Purchased in December 2018 at The Good Guys Physical store.

Nice Washing machine at a decent price

published

We have been using this machine regularly for almost an year now without any issues. It does clean clothes as per expectations. There are various modes to choose from and water consumption is not ridiculous. The filter cleaning is easy and its a low maintenance machine. The load capacity just suffices for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Efficient and small washing machine

published

It does a good job of washing my clothes. However, this might just be because I only have small loads because I only use it for myself. It hasn't worn out any of my clothes yet and it seems to clean them very well. I like how adjustable the settings are, you can choose how much water and how long you want to wash it for. The quickest setting is good if you know your clothes aren't too dirty and you're in a bit of a rush. The only probable downside is that it doesn't have a separate section for liquid detergent/softener, it only has one section for powder detergent.

Good Washing machine with good price

published

I have used this washing machine for 8 months. The frequency is once per week, It works well with main functions. The clothes are cleaned and rinsed well. In most of the times, it works under an acceptable loud. Sometimes in the final stage, it throws an error and paused. Then it needs manual intervention to restart it. In most cases, it works fine.

Quick Wash is handy

published

I have this w/mach at our unit (weekender) I love that I can get ALL the guest (1 or 2 night guest ) sheets, towels done in a 15 min quick wash & it washes them well. Takes a whole set of KS sheets too. Mine was noisy till I worked out it was the water hose banging the unit, so moving that solved it.
This is my 3rd Haier ( 3 different places) in 5yrs - YES I will buy another.

Seems ok so far.

published

We got the machine cheap as it was a clearance item. We are a family of 5 and it does a load a day (sometimes 2) and it seems to wash ok, haven't had any problems. Occasionally it will stop due to being unbalanced, but most washing machines do that!
The normal wash cycle is quite long - 47 minutes. It does have a 'quick wash' cycle that only takes 10 minutes, but I only use that for very delicate items.

I can't find a spin-only function and have a feeling there isn't one, which is very annoying to say the least.

I think you are right Judy, although I have a memory of just spinning, but I may be confusing memories with my previous machine.

Judy have found it. Use the Program button until it comes to spin on its own.

Is there a fabric softener dispenser I’m not seeing? 6kg top loader.

No there isn't, would have been a good addition. There is a sound when it is time to add it during the wash but you need to be in the laundry to hear it, so not very useful.
