No stars! My advice is to avoid any abc pram!
The first one we had was a cobra, we got home and could not easily fold it, the technique was ridiculously difficult! We took it immediately back to the store and they exchanged for the another which had the same problem! I was almost convinced it was just me... it kept happening to a point where we were stuck at a shopping centre and could not fold it. We again took it back to the shop where they cleaned it out and said it would be ok.
I was not convinced or confident it wouldn't happen again so the store phoned abc who offered money back in ...Read more

Great manoeuvrability, poorly designed
Ease of manoeuvrability is about all this pram has going for it. It turns on a 5 cent coin, is very easy to push and steer on any surface i’ve taken it on, and has good suspension. But...
It’s heavy - forget balancing a baby on your hip while trying to fold and lift this thing into your car. You’ll need two hands and decent strength.
It’s huge - I have an SUV an it takes up most of my boot.
It’s cumbersome - setup and dismantling is fiddly and difficult. The seat release triggers are wedged between the seat and the frame, be prepared for some ...Read more
scraped fingers, as well as some wiggling and adjusting to get the seat lined up with the frame every time you use it. Also make sure the fabric is clear from the seat buckle... the fabric gets caught in mine every single time. Took me months to figure out why the buckle wasn’t working consistently. And watch for little fingers, the buckles have pinched mine and my daughter’s fingers several times as they snap shut. The storage is awkward - There’s very little room underneath for storage and it’s difficult to get to. Even the nappy bag doesn’t fit. You can fit a handbag, that’s it. There’s no cup holder which i’ve realised is important when you have to carry a toddler’s open drink (and maybe your own) and carry the nappy bag and push a pram. The canopy has a clear plastic window with which you can see your child through if it’s pulled over far enough. Great idea. But it would be even better if the plastic on the window could be opened to allow mum and Bub to talk to and hear each other. And the seat seems very shallow in the bum region and the leg area. I also got the accompanying newborn bassinet which is a little better to use than the seat (the release triggers are in a different location and there are no buckles) and gives you SLIGHTLY more room underneath. In summary, the design flaws undermine the price tag.
Purchased in January 2021 at Baby Train Physical store for $1,100.00.

Love this pram. Great storage, easy to get around. Good for walking tracks
This pram is a great size, great storage and very easy to get around.
The fold-up process is a little difficult to start with but once you get used to it is fine. Just annoying to teach other people sometimes!
The different seating positions are great - my child is currently 8 months and have been using the pram since birth and has adjusted really well through each stage so far.

used almost a year and very happy with it
Purchased in time for my now 11 month old bub. Good stroller, perhaps a bit of a hassle to fold up and load into the car (while holding a baby), but ok if you have two hands. Very manoeuvrable and easy, even fun to drive. I have the three wheel version. You need to remember to lock the front wheel though when you are going over gravel or rough terrain! I always forget and get stuck. I also noticed how easy the leather is to scratch though, so wish that was a bit tougher (handles). Also, my bub really wants to sit up more often than not, but doi...Read more
ng up that 5 point harness is such a hassle. As long as I'm with her, it is mostly ok just to put that bar across, but lately she has been trying to wiggle out. I suppose I will have to just start doing up the strap. But I do wish the foot rest folded up one more stop, then I think bub would be more secure. Honestly though, overall, I haven't found a better stroller, what with speaking to all the other mums in my group and such, so all in all quite happy.Similar opinion? Just purchased this pram - love it!
After spending months deliberating on which pram to get, i finally settled on the ABC Salsa 3. Super easy to manoeuvre with the 3 x wheels (which i was dead set against at the start until i compared it to the 4 wheeler and saw the difference in how easy it is to turn!) and love the storage underneath.
I did really struggle with the fold right once when i got the pram home, so brought it back to the shop and the lovely ladies at Baby Train talked me through how to do it again - now i get it, it's completely easy!
Pram fits into the boot of my Mazda3 too which was really important as the wheels are quite large so was concerned about this initially.

Excellent product. High quality, design and functionality
We have the ABC Design Salsa 3-wheeler (exactly as in above pictures) and we cannot be more satisfied with our purchase. It is the smoothest and sturdiest stroller, very easy to manoeuvre and built to withstand some rougher terrains. They come in other colours and also a 4-wheeler version.
One of the best features is that you can purchase adapters for this model to work with other brands of baby capsules! The adapter allowed us to connect our Britax Safe N Sound Unity baby capsule straight from the car onto the ABC Design pram without having ...Read more

Amazing Pram Great Quality
My wife and I purchased the Salsa Pram (3 wheel, but there is also a 4 wheel available) in Street from Baby Train in Melbourne for our baby boy. We are very impressed by this pram, the quality is fantastic and exactly what we expected from a German product.
We needed a pram with good suspension as we do a lot of walking and were looking for a pram able to handle the walking tracks in our area. The Salsa pram handles our gravel paths extremely well and our baby is comfortable in his seat. We also wanted a pram that would last until our baby i...Read more
s a toddler and found the Salsa has a larger seat than many other brands. My wife loves the colour and leather accents on the pram (as well as the basket size when she is out shopping) and I like the flip out large sized hood. We would highly recommend the Salsa to any parents to be and found Baby Train to be extremely helpful with our purchase. They were able to answer any questions we had about the pram and provided a nice and easy shopping experience.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

We’ve experienced issues with the handle adjustment for a number of months. The handle seems to get stuck on one side and won’t release (this makes it difficult to fold up). Just wondering if other people have had this problem?

We had the same issue and put some Inox spray on it and has never been a problem since. You can buy it from Bunnings and it doesn’t leave the oily residue that WD40 does and therefore doesn’t damage the pram.

Could anyone comment on what this stroller is like over rough terrain eg sand or grass please? I thought the wheels looked a little narrow on photos and wondered if this was an issue. Thanks

I live in an area with no footpaths and dirt roads, and I can say that it has held up. Having said that, I’m pretty sure it’s intended for mostly flat surfaces (footpaths, shopping centres). For other terrain you may want to consider test driving prams at the annual baby and toddler show in your city. They set up various surfaces so you can see which pram performs best on which terrain. Some baby shops do it too - I think Baby Train does.

One other significant thing I forgot to mention, is that the brake often gets jammed and either doesn’t engage properly or doesn’t release properly- usually at the worst time. For example, i have been... Read more
on a flat (non stair) escalator in a shopping centre and been unable to release the brake to push the pram off the escalator. With the escalator still going I have no choice but to shove the pram off with jammed wheels. It happened yesterday. And less often the brake won’t engage, which has also happened on escalators, forcing me to pull back or push on the pram (depending if I’m going up or down).
