Amazing Service!!
Best customer service I have ever received! All the staff were so lovely and went above and beyond to help me fit 3 car seats in my car. They assembled my pram for me and I got a great bundle deal. Just really good all round customer service which is quite rare these days. Highly recommend Baby Train to everyone!

BABY TRAIN WRECK!!
I picked up 2 car seats for for my twins today. Upon install noticed scuff marks on one of the seats and asked if it was a display model. Upon being promised it was new, I was still unconvinced. I drove home annoyed that I was made to feel like a fool 25 weeks pregnant too!! Then I noticed the 2 car seats are different, different head rests, different fonts on the brand writing etc. I went back to ask what was going on. (used car salesman), did not apologise or offer any compensation. Just said we could order more and we could come back. I was then furious, feeling really cheated so I asked for a refund and left. Iv since found he was selling really old models for the same price across the street. Taking advantage of pregnant women and thinking we are stupid. Not happy. Highly DO NOT recommend.2 comments

Well above the others
I recommend baby train if, like us, you want a baby store where the staff have expertise in the products sold and will take the time to give you advice and help you make an informed decision on which baby product suits you. This was important to us and we went to 5+ baby shops closer to where we live before we decided to try Baby Train Ringwood based on the online reviews. It was such a relief to find this shop and we ended up feeling comfortable buying a pram and car seat in one weekend after the staff helped us through the process.

Parents please do not waste your time going there or purchasing anything from this store.
Their customer service is non existent. They claim to value their customers and yet they dont walk the talk when it comes down to it. There are plenty of better stores to purchase baby products from than this one.

Great service, helpful staff - excellent experience
We purchased Maxi Citi baby capsule and the Ergo Omni from Baby Train Ringwood - we received excellent customer service both times. We had an issue with baby capsule and they organised replacement part which arrived promptly and correctly. We received expert advice about the Ergo Omni from Rachael who went above and beyond and understood our needs and product amazingly. Definitely our go-to baby store.

Great service
Was in baby bunting for half an hour and being ignored by the staff there
We then off to the Baby train, the sales there was friendly and professional, answered all our questions and we got the car seat within 10mins (cheaper as well)
0 star for baby bunting and 5 star for baby train

Went over and above to help me
I was let down badly by another Baby store and rang Baby Train in Ringwood
They were so understanding and helpful and had my pram ready to pick up early
The price was wonderful
And the staff very competent and friendly
They put the pram together for me and showed me how to dismantle it for car travel
Will be back for all my baby products
And a big thank you for all your help

Rubbish customer service
After buying a stroller from baby train we thought we'd buy our car seat from Baby train as well. This was a few months later. We asked for a price match to ensure we got a competitive offer (like we had done with our stroller) and the lady who seemed like assisting us was an inconvenience replied with 'Nah I won't price match, buy it from wherever else you found it'.....and that's just what we did.
Needless to say, we'll be avoiding Baby train from now on and will happily share our experience with our mother's group.

We vehemently deny your comment about us ‘selling really old models for the same price across the street’. This is completely untrue. You did not have a car seat fitting booking but we made space so our installer could install your two new seats. You requested that our installer show you how the seat gets fitted so you could learn to do it yourself which we willingly obliged. We were as surprised as you to discover the car seats had slightly different patterns on the material. As we explained to you, both car seats were brand new out of the box and the car seat supplier (Dorel) had not informed us of the change in the pattern on the fabric. A representative from Dorel will be ringing you also to confirm this. As this is our end of lease closing down sale these were the last 2 of that particular seat. We offered to get another matching one in from our other store which would be available the next day or to refund you in full. You chose to have a full refund which we processed immediately. We have been a baby goods retailer for 10 years and pride ourselves on our customer service. When you look at the facts we believe we could not have done anymore for you. We answered all your questions and offered solutions for the problem which was out of our control. We refunded you in full for the seats and the fittings so you received full compensation.
