My impressed turned to distressed with the Lightway 1500 Torch
Only used the torch 7 times and then it stopped working? Checked everything . Surely the battery lasts longer than that. Do I get a new torch or a new battery? Do I return the torch to the store I bought it from?
Purchased in March 2021.

Torch works great but powerbank feature failed
I bought this torch mainly for its ability to be recharged without removing the battery and it does that with a USB cable
The charging port and a USB out port to use for charging as a powerbank are able to be covered by a alloy cover that screws up or down to keep them protected from the elements
The light has two levels of brightness plus a sos feature and has the ability to zoom the beam for greater distance
This torch is well made and feels comfortable to use with good light output
For some reason the USB out port has failed on mine but that might have been from using a faulty charging cable to charge my phone
Apart from that I would have to say this is a great product for a good price
Purchased in April 2021 for A$30.00.

Aldi led 1500lm torch
We'll finished black aluminium case.
Easy to charge via USB, also can be used as a power bank to charge other devices.
With a full charge this very bright, lights up the whole backyard (feels like it would light up the entire block).
Adjust from wide beam to narrow beam.
Would be best Aldi toy I have purchased for some time.

for $30 aud its a Great torch, if a bit big
Picked this up from Aldi -
XHP50 20W Cree LED torch featuring a power bank for convenient power to charge your device on the go.
1st charge took at least 6 hours, the estimated time is between 4 and 5 hours.
use time is about 1.5hrs on full and 3hrs on half.
Its quite large at 27 to 29.4 cm (zoom) and weighs in at around 560g
This light has a large broad, flood beam that you can zoom down to a largish narrower beam.
It lights up my entire back yard and all the trees in the distance. It is quite bright, Am looking forward to visiting the family who overlook into the bush and my partners who's family are on a property so will really be able to test the distance, although so far seems very good.

I noticed that in my local Aldi, they have a couple back in. Check your local Aldi store to see if they have stock.
OR try a company called Snowys, Liteshop, BCF or even Bunnings or torches by OLIGHT which is a good brand, and so is Nitecore, use Google as your friend in this.
