Perfect for small meal portions
I bought this on impulse but I have used it many times per week since. I have not used it for meat but all forms of potatoes, battered, crumbed and pastry have come out perfectly. Unfortunately they are not always available at Aldi or they would have been family presents.

Not that great
Was very excited to purchase this airfryer at a fraction of the price of the branded models. The basket capacity is quite small for a family of four. It can cook, frozen chicken wings(which have been slightly defrosted) in 20 minutes and can do small portion size food items, such as 2 steaks, small chicken tenderloin pieces, about 12 pieces of spinach or cheese pies in about 15 minutes. It is unable to cook food which has been stacked on top of each other, so when I tried 4 steak pieces, I had to open the airfryer and turn/rotate the pieces in ...Read more
order to get the bottom pieces on top. I have also baked a small free range chicken, but again had to turn and cut the chicken in order to get it cooked through and it took a long time to cook. The non-stick surface has also come off. In retrospect, should have saved up and purchased the branded product.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Just a very ineffective and VERY tiny oven, not a 'fryer'
Bought this a month or two ago; tried to cook (Aldi) frozen hash browns - they took way longer than they would have in the normal oven, and they stuck together, meaning they looking hideous by the time they were served. The only good thing about this machine is that it retains the cooking smells quite well. It is seriously a waste of time. Returned it for a refund after trying it out 3 times. I have never used such a useless appliance in my life - there is nothing 'fryer' about it. They kept my receipt when I returned it, so I can't verifying t...Read more
his purchase. If you have an oven, forget using one of these - or if you really want something smaller than an oven, get one of the 'easycook' style benchtop ovens, for a fraction of the price - they are much more effective.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Where is the aldi air fryer Made/manufactured

Unfortunatly, it was made in China, like the majority of all the products we buy, even Brand name items, which we pay much more for.

Can the components go in a dishwasher for cleaning?

I really don't know but they are so easy to clean I wouldn't bother, even if I had a dishwasher.
Fantastic! That’s what I wanted to hear. Thank you!

Can I cook scones in it
3 answers
Yes, you sure can cook scones in it, using normal oven tray and setting on Bake, I am yet to try out the Air fry { using normal oven tray} setting as I have been told it's much the same as a fan- forced oven.
Hope this helps.
Thank you and we will purchase an airfryer this week from Aldi.
